I had heard so much hype about this place so I tried them out. The staff were really friendly and kind. I was really stoked about it. I loved how much you got for the price. Downsides- fries were so hard overly fried and the burger all I tasted was cheese. My partner said his didn't taste seasoned (he got a double patty), and it did take a very long time after being the 2nd person to order when they opened. I did like the charred pepper. The burgers are super good and hearty! I absolutely love coming to get one when I have the opportunity. All the works and than some, fries are always fresh and hot. Burgers have great flavor seasons to perfection, the owner is so kind and it feels like he really enjoys what he does. I've never had a bad burger or bad service once. Came for Thursday happy hour and was very pleased. I thought my burger was very smashy and the sauce was beautiful. We also got an uncrustable which was very tasty. Ok, so for anyone who says their hours and times are unreliable, you should really be following Barrio Burgers on their social media accounts like Instagram. I've personally found that they are VERY 1. Personable and 2. Communicative But anyway, back to the important stuff- THE FOOD!!! Deep fried crustables are required whenever me and my husband go, whether we're full or not. Theyre so tasty. The BURGERS NEVER MISS!!! My husband loves the shrimp burger and I love the mushroom burger (add bacon) Barrio Burgers is the total package, the fries and mexican pickle (my tokened name for the jalapeño on the side) are just as tasty as the burgers themselves. Love this place so much I havent even been inside the bar they're usually posted at, I already feel like a good nap after I eat there. I visited Barrio Burger on a Thursday when they run their $10 dollar promotion. Unfortunately, my experience was different this time. We were made aware that it was going to be a while for us to get our order which we were completely fine with, we don't mind waiting for food as long as it's served fresh. When we got our order my husband's burger looked and tasted good but it was obvious that my burger had been sitting for a while. The whole thing was cold, the bun was flat, the fries smelled like they were fried in old oil and had a port like smell to them. Having waited an hour for our order I was very disappointed. WOW! very impressed. We went on a Sunday and ended up waiting about 20 min or so. Well worth it! The burger was phenomenal! The fries were excellent! Better than My other favorite fries. Crispy and hot w just enough salt. The parking and getting there is a little crazy as it's located behind Filthy Mcnasty's but we parked in the building next to Filthy's because it was A Sunday so they were closed. I know most people brag about another very popular midtown burger spot- I have to say this was way better! They have picnic tables you can eat at w umbrellas on most however more than likely you will end up sharing the table.
