I've had Mr. Yummy Yummy at countless events, from Food Truck Fridays to APIHM celebrations, and most recently when they came down to my neighborhood block party! Reasons I love it BEYOND the delicious food? Easy. They are the fastest food truck in town! You'll see a long line and think, this will take forever, but they are a well oiled machine that cranks out fresh food SUPER fast! Speaking of the team. This is the FRIENDLIEST crew behind a food truck I've come across. They want everyone to have a great experience and make sure it happens. From quickly and efficiently taking orders, to helping fill those tiny little containers with sauce, they cover it all. Did I mention the FOOD yet? It's so good and always SO MUCH FOOD too. They focus on delivering quality and quantity, and they hit on every mark! My favorite is the hibachi chicken. I know. SO boring, but so classic and so delicious. One of my favorite food trucks in Reno! This Japanese hibachi food truck offers some amazing Bulgogi beef rice, bowls, that seriously have some of the best flavor that I have had from Bulgogi beef, especially with the Mr yummy yummy sauce! Their service is always very fast and efficient and the food is always so hot and fresh. They pop up around a number of places around town and it's very easy to find out where they are but their social media like on Instagram or TikTok. The food truck is always very clean and their station is always very organized with a number of different sauces that they have to offer for your meal! So yum!!!! We tried this food truck and it was absolutely Devine! My husband and I got two different entrees and shared it between us and our little and still had left overs!! We grabbed the fried rice with veggies and ribeye on top from Me Yummy and it definitely hit the spot. The ribeye was cooked well,tender and flavorful--but a bit on the fatty side. Parked on Virginia during the first annual Western Lights Festival was this big red food truck. Having never had the privilege I decided to try the beef yummy noodle. Gold star for anybody who can tell me how the sweet and savory noodles were prepared. Awesome for sure. Thin sliced beef, broccoli, carrots, noodles in a tasty sauce. I have had this truck a couple of times now and it has always been delicious! Their potstickers are literally so good for starters and they always have extra sauce out front up for grabs which I love. They also have really good shrimp and karage! I like the smokiness in their fried rice also. They are super quick which is a great quality in a food truck considering I am usually grabbing lunch on my way back to the office and this really helps. BIG SLAY. Second year in a row going specially to Food Truck Fridays at Idlewild for this truck. We are from out of town so it is hard for us to catch a food truck. Nonetheless, this was a huge slay again. We got some of their noodles and some of their various bowls. It was fantastic. We got 4 bowls and noodles and they were sooo fast to make the food. If you've been to Ijji Noddle House or Hype Tea you probably have met or at least seen Kurtis he's a man with a passion for what he does. The newest venture is a hibachi style food truck that came out swinging on its first event. With how fast the service is you'd think they've just got vats of their ingredients readily prepared. But if you look closely enough you can see the grill working your order the moment your order goes through. It's all served hot and fresh off the grill. Personal suggestion is to make your own surf n' turf bowl by getting the rib-eye bowl(if it's not sold out) and adding shrimp. Service has been great, staff is all super nice. As they are a food truck it might be hard to catch them in the wild but they do have social media and post when they are out and about. read more

We recently tried this food truck and really enjoyed it. My wife and I split their Karage Bowl and it was very good. The chicken was tender, juicy with a beautiful crispy batter. They really had the perfect crunch. Their rice was also very good, it was clearly well cooked and then tossed on the flat top for the perfect amount of wok hei, which you don't always get with a flat. We also had their potstickers which were very flavorful. I also enjoyed that you can add more sauce than what you order, that was a nice touch. The hibachi ribeye truly lived up to the hype. A block party I attended this weekend had food trucks at it. I've been hearing about this particular dish, so I was excited it was on the menu. This new Japanese hibachi food truck just arrived last month. It brings a mini version of Ijji 2's Japanese Teppanyaki to the street. The grill is right there at the window so you can watch your meal being prepared. My 7 ounce ribeye was well seasoned and cooked perfectly tender. It was laid across a huge portion of delicious fried rice and a mixture of carrot, broccoli, zucchini, and onions. The four sauces were at the table in front of the truck, so you could choose and put on as much as you want. I went with the yum yum sauce. It's my go to for the rice and vegetables. It was great with the steak, but it didn't require any extra seasoning. The other sauces available were unagi, spicy mayo and pot sticker sauce. Other menu items included- 3 piece pot stickers ($5), bowl of fried rice ($6), teriyaki chicken bowl ($15), bulgogi beef ($17), hibachi tofu ($15), and karaage bowl ($16). My ribeye was just shy of $26. They accept cash and card. My meal was piping hot and ready in under 10 minutes. read more

Let's start with how they advertise themselves. They claim to be "A Japanese BBQ Hibachi Food Truck." So naturally, I expected prices to reflect a "Hibachi" experience--but also the quality to match. I ordered a $16 bowl of "fried rice" that wasn't even half full. Not a single egg or vegetable in sight--just pre-cooked rice tossed on a flat-top grill. Granted, that's not uncommon at some "Hibachi" places, but at least the flavor is usually there. This lacked even that. Now for the actual bowl: $16 for "fried rice and fried chicken (karaage)." The bowl itself was less than half full of rice, topped with five small pieces of what looked like chicken thighs. The breading was unique, but the chicken was dry. A tiny drizzle of spicy mayo added minimal help. All in all, what I got was half a bowl of bland, dry rice with a few pieces of mediocre chicken, squished with a lid to make it appear full--for $16. read more

We ordered the Kaarage fried chicken and it was absolutely fire . Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sauces? Next level. You can tell everything is made with care and attention to flavor. It's rare to find a food truck that nails both food and service like this. (the also have sit down locations throughout town) Highly recommend checking them out if you're in Reno. I must admit I was a bit disappointed with my meal. I ordered a beef noodle dish. There was plenty of tasty noodles, but VERY little beef (about 7 1inx1in pieces) and very few veggies (one piece of a carrot, one piece of zucchini, and a couple of pieces of broccoli).
