I needed someone to perform a move-in clean of a house on short notice and Barry was there to save the day. He was flexible with his work schedule and accommodated my request. He was on time and his communication was on point. I appreciated him giving me a heads-up when he was on his way, almost at the house, and also when he was almost done with his work, so that it gave me plenty of time to inspect everything. He even did a detailed walk through of his cleaning with me, which is something I've never had from previous cleaning services. If I could leave zero stars I would. I allowed this company access to my rental property via a lockbox so they could clean prior to an open house. I was the first person in the house a few days after and aside from a clean fridge and stove, it looked like no one cleaned the house except for a few vacuum strokes. There was still stuff on the carpet and even on the hard floor in the kitchen. They gouged the FRESHLY painted walls to the point we needed to pay someone to Spackle/sand/paint the walls because we were out of time before a lead inspection/Open house and we would've been dinged for a gouge in the wall. At first Barry claimed he would pay us for the repair to the wall (via Zelle, his preferred method) , claiming they didn't do it; then claiming if one of his team members did it, he wasn't aware. We had the wall repaired and then suddenly Barry would not respond to a single message, did not pay for the repair which was MORE money out of our pocket and he denied the Zelle request. So not only was our house NOT cleaned, he did not keep his word regarding paying for damage that was NOT there prior to "his team" entering. We are filing fraud with our bank, contacting BBB for the work ethic, among other means to rectify this nightmare experience. Never again. Regarding the fridge, either they didn't move the fridge to clean the floor or they did and damaged our brand new wall... so we paid for work not done or he DID the work along with the damage.. it doesn't go both ways EDIT: Barry claims I am a bully and was satisfied following the video chat after the rental property was "cleaned" it's not hard to say good job when a video chat avoids showing damage to a wall or pieces of debris laying along all the floorboards. We will never use this company again, and neither will real estate investor we work with to prep homes. We paid for service we didn't receive AND ended up paying for damage his team caused. I read the 1 review from October 2022. Did not experience this. Barry was thorough and we discussed beforehand what needed to be done. He and his crew take the initiative on many things. He's good for his word. Not easy to find these days. A business makes mistakes, it's how one deals with it...that's how I look at it. I hired Barry for a move in cleaning of a two bedroom two baths and paid the added services of cleaning inside of the fridge, the microwave, the oven and the dishwasher as well as three blinds. please find attached invoice. The time was between 8am and 10am which I thought was the start and end time. On the day of the cleanin, I get a call from Barry at 8:07 am notifying me that my cleaning will not start until 10am to which I replied I thought it was supposed to be 8 and he said that was an estimated time. red flag 1. He then calls me back around 8:45am to let me know that he was on his way and eta was 9:15am. Once him and his brother arrived at my appartement , the cleaning started as I went in bout my business but still inside the appartment. I did say this was a move in clean so he made sure to charge me accordingly for a total of $646. For that price, anyone would expect a good job, which I thought they were doing. Around 11am I went to the store and came right back. Then had to go again around 12:30pm. at that point my glass doors were cleaned and inside the fridge looked nice, the stove was cleaned and I was happy to see. I started to get worr when I went to one of the bathroom and noticed the tub had not been cleaned yet. it was a pretty visible pink stain in there that I was hoping was going to get cleaned. fast forwar, the second time I went to the store, he called me 15 minutes right after I left and said they were done to my surprise, so I head back home. At the door they were waiting for me to give me a tour of the place. I followed him as he opened up the fridge which looked good inside , the microwave looked good until I realized two days later that the top of it was crusty and still dirty. He showed the floors which I didn't believe were cleaned and I told him and he said they did mop the floor using murphy. To the bathroom we head and they did clean the mirror and sinks but didn't touch the tub. Again at that point I told him that the tub was not cleaned and he said that they did clean it and that the pink spot in there wasn't coming off. the kitchen counters had to be cleaned which his brother did, it was dust balls all over but the worse part was in one of the closet so his brother had to cleaned that too. I trusted his work and thanked him before they left. At that point I was trying to put things back in place and that's when I realized the horror. The place was basically empty, it was three beds in there and I found dust under the beds, so I decided to try to get rid of the stain in the tub. I turned the water on and to my surprise the stain was gone, they hadn't cleaned the tub, I didn't even have to scrub and plus the water lifted the dirt up and it was sad to see. I then called him to let him know that I was not happy with what I was seeing, I sent him pictures and he offered to come back the next day which I declined cause I have to work. Now that I have started moving into the house I am seeing so much dirty stuff he left behind. They didn't clean one of my blinds, my floors are crusty, my shower and tub were dirty, the top part inside the microwave was dirty and I am having to pay someone else to do a more thorough cleaning. I called Barry today to request a refund of at least half the money I paid him because he didn't fulfill his part of the deal. He agreed at first and offered to drop the money off at the concierge because I dont have Zelle , then he calls me back to tell me that he was not going to get bullied into refunding me and that he could only come back and clean what they missed. What makes him think that I want him to come clean my house again I don't know. he took advantage of me and is now playing the victim. this is a warning to all of you looking to get services from this business, think twice, look at the pictures attached and make an informed decision before hiring him for cleaning services.
