We had an initial consultation to discuss our needs and the cost however after some consideration, my focus of the work I wanted done changed and therefore needed a new price. Well this joker thought it would be ok to just start the work and upon completion sends a picture showing the trees and shrubs were taken down BUT he never had our approval to proceed! He never told us the cost. WHO THE HELL DOES THAT! He claimed to have called and says no one answered. There was no voicemail there was no text, this unprofessional landscaper took it upon himself to just do as he wanted! He comes to my home, without approval and just did what he wanted ! Then to top it all off, he asks to be paid when he doesn't even do the job I asked for and when the remaining work is pointed out, he has the "you know what" to say, that will cost you more money! They did remove the branches--and maybe one more than expected--but overall, the work itself was fine, and they cleaned up the debris. That said, the customer experience left a lot to be desired. Communication was lacking throughout, except when they repeatedly followed up for the deposit. They didn't tell us in advance that our driveway and front street needed to be clear for their truck, so my partner had to rush home from work to move the car. After the job, no photos were shared, and when I asked about the price and 3% credit card fee, they pointed to the contract. Fair enough--but it would've been helpful if they had mentioned that upfront. I offered to send cash or a check to avoid the surcharge, but they said credit card is now the only accepted method. Between the lack of communication and inflexibility, I wouldn't recommend them based on customer service alone. Hopefully the residue left on our vinyl fence comes off with a hose.
