My therapists have been Erin, Melinda and Brad. I love that I can request the same therapist each visit. They all use a laptop to record my exercises and progress. The Rehab Aides are thorough and usually are in school to become licensed therapists themselves. Nadine Bartley is a super talented physical therapist and more importantly, she's the one person I rely on to get me better, whether after a car accident or more recently, an exercise injury. I hadn't been to the office in a few years and then after this injury, came in for an initial appointment (the intake appointment). During that appointment I felt like I was with the Sherlock Holmes of physical therapy as Nadine followed the clues and spent a lot of time testing my nerves and tracking my pain and postulated (correctly!) that i actually had more than one injury. I hadn't realized that prior to coming to her office and it made a world of difference in my own approach to treating both injuries (including the MD's I needed to see and procedures I needed to have). Nadine's appointment follow-up typically includes emails of the exercises we've discussed during our session (along with written details and video links). She's very reachable and essentially makes you feel like you've got a real partner in your treatment plan. The office has easy parking in the back and runs on time (i don't think i've waited for more than a few minutes ever). Highly recommend this talented and in-demand PT and her wonderful office. This is high-quality care. As I'm now mostly healed up, I do plan on coming to their office soon to review my exercise program with her - might as well get ahead of it next time and do things right from the beginning! read more

Had my first appointment with Nicole. She was worth the wait (7 weeks) I was referred to Bartley by my surgeon as he prefers to work with his own PT network. I liked Nicole she was caring she listened to my concerns and took my medical history seriously . Each person has an individual room so it's very private which I really appreciated vs being in a giant gym style room. Well, this outfit gets a star for answering the phone at least. They are very busy. I called desperately trying to get therapy for my back, Bartley was highly recommended by my doctor at Kerlan-Jobe. The person took my details and promised to call me back which they did, to advise they were booking 6-8 weeks out. SIX WEEKS LATER, I had a follow up appointment with my doctor and I was again referred to Bartley who I again called, and again was happy to speak to a live voice who took my information with the promise of a prompt call back. No joy. I'm sure you guys are great, I'm just not feeling it myself. One star for you. read more

I've just completed therapy to rehabilitate my left shoulder following rotator cuff and bicep surgery. This was my fourth and best physical therapy experience by far. The therapists and staff at Bartley are absolutely amazing. Every one I worked with was professional, friendly, and highly skilled. They worked miracles with my wrecked shoulder; well beyond what I'd hoped for. Kelly, my primary therapist, is a superstar. I worked a lot with Katie as well who is equally adept. Christina and Hunter filled a few sessions and did a terrific job. High fives, kudos, and hallelujahs to one and all. So thankful I found Bartley on Yelp! I got vertigo and Bartley fit me in last minute. First I saw Melinda and she was wonderful and performed the Epley maneuver on me. It helped a little but my vertigo was still pretty bad! I saw Nicole on my second visit and she spent a lot of time on me. She did the Epley 3 times and it did the trick! Can't say enough amazing things about this place!!! Because I'm insured thru Kaiser I had to pay out of pocket but it was worth every penny! Nadine Bartley and staff truly helped me regain strength in my arm after recovering from a hectic motorcycle accident. They provided flexible scheduling and were very accommodating around my work schedule. They were also fun and very professional. I just can't say enough about Bartley Physical Therapy. I have had multiple back injuries from overworking (I love what I do lol), sciatica problems, frozen shoulder you name it. Every therapist has treated me with patience, respect and positivity that is so encouraging when dealing with physical challenges. They work to treat and strengthen your body so you learn how to avoid the problems in the future. They are my go to physical therapy office and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs assistance getting better and stronger. I am being treated by Hunter currently. He is so patient, kind and knowledgeable. We have had great success with Bartley!! My son was in a horrific accident causing major injuries to his back and leg. After undergoing surgery he has been seeing Danielle (PT) & she has been helping him recover for nearly 2 months now. His surgery was on his MCL but he also had a torn ACL and sprained ankle along with 3 broken bones to that same leg. Tough recovery for sure but she is amazing and completely relates to my son and has been so supportive. He still has a way to go but we are grateful for the team at Bartley. Also 5 years ago my husband injured himself and ended up with bursitis in his right knee. They helped him reach full recovery and movement of his leg. I have seen three marvelous physical therapists at Bartley so far. The practice is extremely busy, for many reasons, the most important of which is competence. Jenny is one of the very warm front desk people. I would hire her in a minute if I were still a practicing doctor. I have had Brad Woo as my primary physical therapist now for 8 out of 10 visits, and he cannot be any better. He is helpful, careful, very bright and professional. This office cares. Decided to try Bartley upon friends recondition. Very happy with one on one care and results thus far.

I have been to physical therapy a number of times at several different clinics. At each one the experience was the same. After an initial evaluation, at every session, the therapist would spend about 10 minutes with me. Then it was turned over to an assistant or intern. My experience at Bartley was SO MUCH better. My physical therapist was with me for every minute of every session. As I went through exercises, he was attentive and pointed out ways I could improve my form. At each step, he measured my progress, and modified my exercise routine to maximize my progress. I cannot say enough good thinks about my therapist, Charlie. He took a genuine personal interest in my progress, and encouraged me every step of the way. He is great! Bartley has lots of private rooms for PT. Almost all of my sessions took place in a private room, which seemed safer during COVID. They also took great care to keep everything sanitized and safe during my sessions. I am a high-risk individual. In spite of my COVID fears, I felt safe at Bartley. I cannot imagine going anywhere else if I need PT in the future. read more

Had bilateral knee replacement in late October by Dr. TchejeyanMD . In just 90 days I was able to get around as needed. Some rehab and strength building to go but Brad was able to meet my physicians requirements ahead of schedule. Friendly team, no nonsense timely in & out, always on time, consciencious of my personal wants & needs, paid attention to me as a whole person. I would definitely recommend Brad and his team to anyone needing out-patient rehabilitation after surgery or strength building after illness or weakness - it will be well worth it! read more

After a trauma inducing car accident, I was referred to Nadine and her staff by my primary care physician. My doctor had only glowing things to say, so I was anxious to see how my treatment would go. I had pain in my arm and leg due to the accident and Nadine worked so patiently with me to regain back my strength and to minimize the pain through exercises in the office and some I could even do from home! My treatment went so well initially (my first time there was August of 2013), that when I had issues come up again, right back to Nadine I went! I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in August 2014, and have had to deal with multiple side effects, joint and bone pain and also Plantar Fasciitis now in both feet. Even with having multiple surgeries, Nadine and her staff have always been so kind and gracious to me! Not just by being so thoughtful in terms of helping me schedule around my multiple other doctor appointments, but truly caring how I am doing and recovering. The treatment Nadine gives for my little stubborn little feet help tremendously and I look forward to every visit because of the relief from the pain, but also from the touch of the heart. This staff is not just made up of wonderful, skilled and hard-working people, but Nadine runs a business of integrity, intelligence, skill and most of all...heart. I have been seeing Brad Woo at Bartley Physical Therapy for about 3 months now. He has been fantastic from day one, and I'm glad my GP referred me to Bartley PT. I have had bothersome wrist pain for over a year now, and Brad has not only helped lessen the pain and strengthen my wrist, but he has also helped me in trying to discover what the underlying problem could be. Each appointment is one hour and we do a variety of stretches, strength exercises, and then he will work out knots or help you stretch in ways you wouldn't be able to do on your own. He is very knowledgable and extremely friendly, and made me feel welcome and comfortable on my first day and has ever since! Thank you, Brad! When I'm there, I always see and hear the other therapists working, and they're all so friendly and great with their patients. The ladies at the front desk are all wonderful as well, and great with scheduling. The facility is extremely clean and also really nice - they always have good music playing, too! First the entire staff is wonderful caring and professional . I was very fortunate to have Dr Hunter Van Houten as my therapist . He's wonderful . He was attentive, encouraging , enthusiastic and serious about what he was working on . I was not an easy patient yet Hunter kept me going when therapy seemed to have stalled . There were more forward up days than slow backwards days thanks to Hunter's skills and the help of the also wonderful assistants. I will be using Hunter again . I injured my shoulder a year ago but I neglected it until I couldn't move it. Finally my orthopedic doctor refered me to Bartley physical therapy. My therapist was Melinda. I have been to several PT centers due to orthopedic surgeries and Bartley is a "cut above" all the others. My care from therapists Claire and Brad was exactly what was needed to get me back in shape after a partial knee replacement. They challenged my progress, without the pain and stress I was expecting and were with me the entire time during each visit. I hurt my back after lifting some heavy furniture. I could hardly turn and move when I got there. Brad took care of me and I think he put my joints and muscles back in place with the massage. After the first visit the seizing pain was gone and I was able to move around. After two more visits I was almost back to normal. and when I completed the course I became all right. read more
