I have no pictures , I came here for numbness in my legs , the PT of Dr. Seen me promptly, helped me out a lot with stretches and explained to me thoroughly what I was going through. It's been 2 weeks and counting. I'm done waiting. I stopped by and spoke to the front desk staff about whether they take my workers comp insurance. I left a copy of the authorization and my phone number. They said to wait for their call back. A week went by. Never heard anything. I called in and left a voicemail. Still nothing. A simple no would have been nice. This is a lack of professionalism and respect toward patients well being. read more

Decided that I needed to do a follow up since the last post was four years ago so basically I was able to stay out of physical therapy for a couple years but unfortunately I have gone back after a few workout injuries and doing some fun Super active sports. I will say it's definitely different since I've been there we came to the new staff but they all are super sweet to. It's hard to make a switch though from the amazing team that you had there for so long to a new group of people. I will say though Carrie is still amazing as ever and knows so much about healing injuries and going above and beyond to make sure her patient able to heal and recover quickly. Scheduling is super easy and even though that they might be booked they usually can get you in because of cancellations that happened even during the middle of the week. For those that are going to ask about if masks are required they have a sign on the door that says that in all of the staff works there has been on and most other patients you as well now granted most of the patients are elderly. The few patients that are younger typically are not wearing them and that includes me and no one has asked me to put one on. I think they're trusting that if you were going to be sick that you wouldn't be showing up to workout. If you ever have any issues they are amazing about working them out privately and keeping everything confidential. If you do have to go to as our family calls it paid Torture this is the place to go. They make sure that everything is smooth sailing from beginning to the end of each session and that you were able to end and be able to get back to doing what you enjoy doing. read more

I highly recommend Xcelerate in Moorpark for your required Physical Therapy needs. Their Team is the best Therapy Team I have ever experienced. The Physical Therapists are well educated and trained to provide the required therapy in order to meet your needs and goals at a pace you can handle. The therapists and assisting staff are very pleasant and help make the therapy process a very rewarding experience. Everyone is very nice at this location, however I spent three appointments here before they told me that they don't know what to do with me. This is not a good therapy location for uncommon surgeries. I had latarjet surgery and I should have known from the start that they didn't have experience with that type of rehabilitation because they googled it during my first visit. read more

Shame on Xcelerate! For a health and wellness establishment, they put money and profits before their customers wellness. Demanding payment up front from insurance companies for physical therapy services which haven't been rendered, let alone scheduled and preventing injured people from getting the treatment they need is a sham. I have never worked in an industry where you pay for services before they are rendered. Unfortunately, they only care about Xcelerating the profits in their pockets and not Xcelerating the wellness of their injured customers. For Shame! read more

I started going to get physical therapy here because I was having horrible back pain in my pregnancy. I needed help to safely rebuild my muscles. I've had Carrie as my physical therapist and she is amazing! And all of the other assistants that have helped monitor my exercises have been so nice. The PT trim is large and nice and open with lots of Windows. I would definitely recommend Xcelerate for physical therapy. They are very upfront about their billing, so you just pay for your appointment as you go and no extra bills after the fact. read more

I am very fortunate to be under the care of Carrie and the rest of the team at Xcelerate. I have been plagued by lower back injury for several years now (specifically a tear in my L5/S1). My history is such that I have gone through periods of health to only arrive back on the table after returning to my daily activities. Carrie taught me the vital importance of daily maintenance. This means a consistent conscience effort to alleviate pressure on the disc from good posture while sitting, proper mechanics for all sorts of tasks such as bending, to even the proper way to walk. These changes in behavior have helped to alleviate the daily stresses on my back. This reduction of stress gives my body more wiggle room to absorb more acute stresses that can be caused by more rigorous activity. Additionally we have worked to identify the key areas of my body that required strengthening. This strengthening has been another key component in allowing for the right muscles to activate and keep the muscles that had been persistently flaring up to remain dormant. She is not afraid to give it to straight because sometimes the work you go through to get to the other side is challenging. Lastly, Carrie is incredibly adept on the table. She knows exactly how to identify the areas that require attention to keep flare ups in check. I highly recommend her as I am confident she can help you get back to life the way she has helped me. read more

This is my second total knee replacement. I had P.T. here the first time and returned due to exceptional care. Great, clean facility. Staff is knowlegable, caring, they work as a team and are certified in special techniques. They make sure you do exercises correctly so you get the most benefit. Another reviewer mentioned problems with insurance. I had none and did not have to pay up front. Heidi is amazing and truely cares for her patients. She takes her time, explains and educates while being assertive to help you attain your goals. Keep up the great care Excelerate! read more

I tore my ACL, MCL and Meniscus about one year ago playing sports. I'm a 37 year old male and sports/fitness/nutrition is a very important part of my life. My goal was to pick up where I left off prior to my injury. I was referred to Xcelerate by my surgeon, which happens to be one of the surgeons for the USA Olympic team. Due to his status and work that he has done with athletes, I trusted his recommendation and checked out Xcelerate. My physical therapist, also a former athlete was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We talked about my goals and she made sure that my therapy catered to those goals. My therapist and her extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff came along beside me on this incredible journey. They invested so much time and effort on me. They made sure all my exercises were done correctly with good form. They were honest with me about my progress and made any adjustments if necessary. Fast forward, I am now back to playing sports. My knee feels great and I owe it to the folks at Xcelerate Physical Therapy. I am forever grateful. I am extremely competitive and stubborn, I'm sure I will hurt myself again and will definitely return to Xcelerate when that happens. read more

I have been going to Xcelerate Physical Therapy for a short time for a back injury. Karissa became my therapist. She is excellent and very caring. She started me out slow and worked up to more extensive exercises. My back is much improved and I am able to be much more mobile. She is also teaching me techniques to prevent future injuries. All of the staff, from Mary at the check-in desk to the assistant therapists, have been wonderful and very cheerful. I have been very happy with Xcelerate. I would chose them again should the need arise. read more

Greedy, Greedy, Greedy! I was injured in a car accident and was unable to received (Insurance Approved) care from Xcerlerate because they want to get paid upfront for service by the insurance company instead being billing after treatment. Morally it is wrong in the therapy services industry to turn away the injured that require care because of HOW they'll get paid. They should reorganize there priorities and remember what is most important - the patient. The front office staff is wonderful and the one visiting I had was informative, but even for the distance future I will choose not to seek care from them. I had high hopes but was disappointed. read more

Xcellerate is one of the best in the business. If you are in need of therapy go see Carrie she is the best. You are welcomed right from the time you enter, by Mary, until the time you leave. The treatment is usually severe and painful but just remember why you are there, to get better and there is no better place. I have personally been there five different times, 4 hip replacement surgeries and 1 shoulder surgery and they had me back to normal in weeks. Just remember you have to work hard to be successful in your recovery and this is definitely the place that can do just that. read more

I am very active in sports playing baseball, basketball, and weight training and I needed to get PT for my shoulder when I developed Frozen Shoulder. Heidi at Xcelerate was awesome. After 10 weeks of going to Heidi, my shoulder went from barely being able to move more than 45 degrees with extreme pain, to having almost full range of motion with no pain. I was able to continue to play sports pain free and am back to my old self. The whole staff there including Mary, Miriam, and Juliette are great and make PT a very fun and pleasurable experience.
