New Year's Eve you expect all the remnants of Christmas to be gone or barely there. Not the case a Barton Creek Mall yesterday. You could still see large Christmas trees as focal points, huge wreaths to commemorate the holiday season and lights strategically placed in certain stores. Service is generally good at Barton Creek mall. However, it could be store to store specific. Generally speaking, Nordstrom has some of the best customer service anywhere. The best time of the year to buy is July and December. So, no better time to buy unlike right now. Prices can range from $4 to $4K depending on what you are purchasing. My purchases tend to be on the lower in of the spectrum as I am the consummate bargain shopper. Sales and discounts are my love languages.

I am not really a fan of malls anymore. I guess I'm getting old. Lol. WIth that said, this mall is always clean, easy to navigate, and they have a lot of the stores that I prefer to shop at. I don't dread having to go to this mall when I need to.

Almost all rice. $12 for rice?

Horrible! I've come here for years and this was awful. I got terryoki chicken. Fried rice and extra vegetable. I got less veritable than normal--not extra. And they filled it with rice. I wanted some but said I did not want much rice. And the vegetable used to be cabbage. This was some mix. No flavor. And to top it all off they included what looked like shiracci. It was not. It was almost all vinegar. It ruined the food. I've been here maybe 20 times. I will never eat here again. It was that Horrible.

Took a walk through this mall and grabbed a small smoothie from Pinkberry, got to check out all of the the candy at Snack, walked through Macy's, Lucky Brand too. Ended up buying a nice grey cashmere wrap from J Crew. It's not a big mall, but it has the basics to meet most folk's needs.

Used to go here a lot when I lived in Austin. Not much has changed here except for some of the smaller stores. They have an entire wing of just toy stores which seemed odd, but it is right next to the affluent Westlake city with lots of families and kids. They upgraded the theater to one with the huge lounge seats which you can reserve when getting your ticket. That was an awesome relaxing experience when watching "Oppenheimer". Food court had some upgrades including a Chick Filet and Venezuelan type food spot.

3.5 We decided to head out this way to find another local mall. There are several large anchor stores at this location which is a good sign for a thriving mall. This place was hopping. There were almost as many people here as a small comic convention. This was a good sign that most stores were filled and a bit frustrating trying to move around. I recommend going earlier if you just want to window shop. That said, the food court is fully stocked with restaurants and there are several mainstream stores here as well. This mall is a two story mall and not all the escalators work all the time which seems to be common out here. Be aware. There is also an elevator in the middle of the mall. The parking lot was pretty large and there are some nice shade trees if you can get a spot under them it's well worth it. I think I'd go back again.

This is the kids play area... this is not very sanitary and clean for kids to be crawling and rolling on the floor on..

Clean the carpets in the kids area. This is not very sanitary and clean for kids to be crawling and rolling on the floor with. I didn't even want to let my daughter down to crawl because the floor was so dirty.

Great selection with over 100 stores and a Giant Food Court. Tons of little candy stores, jewelry stores, wireless stores, shoe stores.... And everything your teenager will desire. The AMC theater is also great ....so in general this is a great mall experience and a great place to drop off the kids for a nice Saturday. It's in the safest part of town so I have always felt very comfortable here and even allowing the kids to browse a little bit on their own.

You can tell that their restroom cleaners either aren't getting paid enough or just don't try because they are always disgusting.

What is the name of the store with massage tables and is there a price list? (I'm not talking about the nail salon) thanks!

    Do they allow dogs?

Service dogs are allowed in mall, and some stores allow non service dogs, for example Nordstrom.

I carefully perused all the sale racks looking for something to purchase - leggings, skorts, shorts, tops, etc. However, I did find any items at the price point I wanted to pay. I did purchase some workout socks. I love their socks for working out. The socks grip your feet and do not slide down into your shoe. Some of my socks that are older, tend to slide down into my shoe, however, Lululemon socks never do this. My issue with socks, in general, is that I cannot always remember where I last put them - in my car, in the dirty clothes, on top of the washer in my sock bag. So, when some of my socks are in sock purgatory, I have more to wear. Lululemon is located inside Barton Creek Square Mall. Lululemon is bright, modern, and designed for a high-end shopping experience. The store offers services such as Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store, free hemming/adjustments, and returns/exchanges. Lululemon offers a wide range of women's and men's activewear, including leggings, joggers, tops, and accessories like yoga mats and belt bags. The store also participates in Lululemon's "Like New" clothing trade-in program, which is great for sustainability-minded shoppers. Staff members aka "Educators" are trained to provide personalized product education and ensure a seamless guest experience. They're known for their expertise and knowledge. Lululemon has premium pricing with leggings often averaging $98+, and tops $60+. I always wait for sales before I purchase items at Lululemon or I may have to break open my piggy bank. Smile.
