Top Notch Over the years, I've stopped in to ask questions and once or twice had some micro-job I needed (simple cuts etc) and it's always been a friendly place where they treat your time like it's theirs. Over the last few years I've been working on many pieces of a renovation project and my recent interaction with Barzetti's to get a quote on a piece of work solidified my impressions of them. Throughout my remodel, I've ran into every type of business that either can't be bothered to reply or act like your job is 'too small'. For this quote, I spoke with someone on the phone, put together the specs via e-mail and had several exchanges to fine-tune the request. Prompt, polite, and succinct, I was able to get the final quote in under a week and it is very refreshing that the communication is very clear and timely. From reputation, Barzetti Welding gets nothing shy of high praise. Several people I trust implicitly have recommended them and have done first-hand business with them. They seem to be "THE" place for welding in the greater Danbury area. If you have a project and plan on shopping quotes, get all of your others first so you can see that a good share of price is materials these days. When a company performs as promised and expediently it's absolutely worth posting a positive review. Using the email address from their basic but informative website, I attached several photos of the bent spring-loaded gate locking mechanisms of my 5x8 utility trailer that needed bending back and a good weld for good measure on both sides. The moment I spoke with Dave on the phone when he called me the next day I knew I had called the right place. His confident friendly manner on the phone was motivating. And after I explained my willingness to accept there may be bigger problems than what my photos illustrated as the problem but wanted an estimate nonetheless, Dave's estimate was more than reasonable. So, I dropped it off the next day and was told by Donna it might be couple of days before they would get to it. I wasn't in a hurry. Surprisingly, Donna called me the next day the work was done. Impressively, the bill came in at the quoted estimated price. I picked it up that afternoon. Why am I writing this review? EVERYONE at Barzetti Welding went above and beyond as far as customer service, answering questions and being so pleasant. My emails and phone calls were answered almost immediately which was terrific especially since I was requesting a small job to be done - I figured would be way down their list of priorities but they treated me with such respect and attention. When Dan came to our home to do the work it became clear what we needed was not going to be possible because of the construction and design of our table. He was not frustrated , but shared good humor and helped us to set up our new outdoor table the proper way. The fee was so reasonable considering it was 40 minute drive to our home and actually not able to be completed. We are so impressed with whole Barzetti team- will use them in the future for any metal fabrication/ repair work. Really positive experience! read more

I just returned from Barzetti and thought its about time I post a review. Its rare that you find service providers these days who actually get customer service. I have been going to Barzetti Welding over the years and always with rather insignificant home projects that need help. I'm almost embarrassed about the small stuff I bring in there, but they are always open to help and advise. Whether its been a welding repair or a redesign of something that requires cutting and welding, Dave takes the time to listen, ask questions, and offer suggestions to accomplish the desired outcome. This is only the second time EVER I've needed to have something welded and we hit the jackpot with Barzetti Welding in Bethal, CT. I was searching for someone to do a very little job - the metal back on a barstool had come off the post. I read other reviews and decided to give these folks a try. I uploaded a couple of photos and sent it off (an email on their web site). Donna from their office responded almost immediately and said they could do the job. We took the chair up and they did a GREAT job, reasonably priced! (The other side had been done through a friend in VA and looks like crap next to this job!) Highly recommend them! read more

I took a class with Barzetti to learn MIG welding, and I brought a cast iron chair with a broken leg. They gave me a quote and had it done when they said it would be ready. I did a little grinding and painting, and now it looks great. read more
