I really like this store it's clean and they offer a wide variety of products. The produce seems a little on the light side but I don't see any spoiled fruit or veggies. So I guess they keep it clean and fresh. The frontline staff are very nice and helpful, as for the deli and the bakery personal" bad apples". I think management needs to rethink the heads in these departments. Because the people are only as good as their supervisors and if the rest of the store is pretty on point it's obvious there's a breakdown in the chain or a missing a missing link! It's terrible., they are look like they're in work prison. Thank you everyone else on the store who works hard to make us customers want to shop there. Note! I don't live in Lake Havasu. I live in Phoenix, but I come to visit my son and his family quite frequently. I have shopped at the bashes before, but never have I seen such price gouging. Now I get it everything must be shipped in here however 2 to 3 dollars per item more is absolute price fixing and gouging. Many of the items didn't even have price tax on it. Now I heard they remodeling the store and moving things around however, that is no excuse for not allowing the public to see what you're charging. I have never liked bashes even when I lived in Sedona. I will make the extra effort to drive elsewhere and not purchase from the store again. I suggest you do the same. read more

Wow! What a change from when Bashas used to be in town. Probobly 40 years ago Bashas was absalutly the place. I remember their fresh baked Italian bread to die for. The store had smiling faces, service that was unbelievable. Now Bashas is a skeleton of what it once was. Their shelves are empty, no one smiling. When I tried to check out in self checkout a grumpy old guy came up to me and rudely addressed my issue. Very frustrating trip to Bashas this morning. I went to the deli to get some chicken tenders that were on sale. I went to the counter and Karen came out from the back, & saw me. The phone rang so she answered that, took a long order, went to take it somewhere else, Ignoring me the whole time. Starts coming back & phone rings again and she answers it and was on phone a long time again!! I was shocked. She could have answered first call and asked them to hold since I was first in line!! I complained to someone and now 2 people are trying to help me. One maybe a manager saying they were short staffed. That's fine but take customers in order. I guess I should have stood at the counter and called, maybe would have got waited on. Not going back! Teach staff customer service. read more

This was our 1st time shopping at Bashas' since we don't have them in California. They have great prices but only if you are a rewards member. So be sure to take the time to sign-up even if you are here for a short time to save a bunch. They have some of the best supermarket sushi I've ever tried. Horrible customer service. Everyone is so rude and unprofessional. They were acting like it was a huge inconvenience to them that I approached them to ask for help with finding an item. Starbucks employees are also very rude, when I got in line to order only one person was in front of me. After my order was taken, I watched as about 12 other people after me walked in and out with their orders. I asked the employee if she had forgotten about me, I was given a dirty look and no answer. Then with attitude my drinks were pushed aside onto the pick up counter. The drinks were awful. They didn't care to hear what I had to say, the lady walked away from me and kept her back to me. The Bashas' Supermarket in Lake Havasu has gotten much better in recent months! I love the food that they put in bags to cook right in the oven! What an amazing treat! Salmon, chicken, broccoli, asparagus all fresh & in bags ready to pop in your oven! (At a reasonable price too) The best part is it all comes out delicious. It seems to me this chain of grocery store has a culture of extremely poor customer service. While the store itself is beautiful & clean, I've had an unpleasant experience with an employee or management, whenever I have to go there. ( I avoid this location almost always) The employees are not friendly at all, and have been offensively rude at times. I've had baggers speak rudely, with an edge to their voice. I asked to speak with a manager on one occasion. She was rude, condescending, and was not helpful at all ! This has been going on for years, so my conclusion is that the culture of this family-owned chain HAS TO SPONSOR THE RUDENESS THAT PREVAILS. ONE WOULD THINK IT TO BE THE OPPOSITE, for a family business. I am not a confrontational person, this entire review is about their discount cards. This is your basic supermarket. Good selection and good prices. The staff on the other hand are rude! The customer service desk staff were all congregating like they were on break and took a few minutes to acknowledge me standing at the counter, the check stand lady was rude and threw a package of ground beef we purchased after she had bagged it and it broke open! I commented about it and no acknowledgement was made. Coincidentally, I believe her name was KAREN she was an older white lady. The only positive interaction I had with staff was the gentlemen in the meat case area, I ordered several lobster tails and he was very polite, pleasant and helpful. I would hope this establishment would train their staff to be polite and friendly especially on a busy holiday weekend when I'm coming in spending several hundred dollars at their grocery store! when I could've just as easily gone to one of the chain grocery stores Safeway or Albertsons and had five-star customer service. read more

When I got there, the donuts didn't look all that appetizing so I picked up a box of danishes instead. These danish tasted just as mediocre. There are no fresh pastries at Bashas', only factory sourced goods designed for maximum shelf life. We also picked up a baby back rib dinner and a turkey pot pie. The deli items were pretty good. Anybody passing through Arizona should pay Bashas' a visit for cheap food on the go. read more

Oh Basha's, how I both love and hate you. I love that you are newer and cleaner than the old Basha's. I hate that you are further away from my parent's house. I love that you have delicious donuts and breakfast burritos and even a Starbucks. I hate that you have these delicious things because that means your store is always packed. I love that you have covered parking but I hate that I have to fight snow birds for a decent spot. I mainly love that you are close to my in-law's house and I can stop by you when I am on my way into town or out. I also hate that you are so close because that means we have to stop here three times a day. Overall, Basha's is one of the better grocery stores in Havasu. It's cleaner, cheaper, and local to Arizona. It's also pretty convenient as well. Definitely check it out for your grocery needs if you are visiting. read more

I have been a customer here for years. Never again! I needed things to make smoothies (the smoothie businesses in town are universally bad service and spotty products) . I had to go all over the store to gather what I needed. Only about 10 things in the basket this time. I went to self checkout and did the drill. The attendant starts yelling at me that my card purchase did not go through. So crap maintenance of the card readers. He told me I had to go to customer service! Why not just use a different self-checkout? Anyway I loaded up my purchases and dutifully walked to the window. The young woman working told me I had to go stand in line and checkout again!!! Of course all the check stands were busy. I guess it was too difficult for her to check me out there. Horrible customer service!!! I recently purchased a home in Havasu up the street from Food City and was so disappointed and disgusted with the selection of meats and seafood. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised that it's just as good as going to a Japanese restaurant. I tried the chef sampler A. It had a little bit of everything to try. Had a horrible experience here. The shift supervisor, Jeff is incredibly unprofessional and just plain rude. The moto of this store is "always friendly" he is far from that. Its hard to believe such behavior is condoned by the company. I had a conversation with a different employee and was told this behavior was was common with Jeff. I really enjoyed this store. I wish we had one around my hometown. So much to choose from and their prices are reasonable. The variety is what I enjoyed the most. And, to top it off, they had the hotdogs I've been looking for at the meat counter! I've been looking for those for years! The store was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Everything was well stocked with good expiration dates. Their sale prices were really good. They had a great deli and alcohol section. I snagged a lottery ticket on the way out the door as well. Not a winner but Bashas' store sure is! It reminds me of a Harmon's (our store in Utah) but with much better prices. When we return to Lake Havasu, this will certainly be our go-to store for all of our needs. Check-out was quick and they kept the lines moving so even when the store was busy, I encoutered minimal wait times. The really cool thing was the parking lot had covered parking! I don't like grocery stores as a rule, they usually just seem like kind of an icky place to keep so much food. But I absolutely LOVE this supermarket. It's pretty clean as supermarkets go. They get overrun with the wild, weekend crowds come warm weather and they still keep it looking reasonably good. It helps that they've even gone out of their way to provide shaded parking for those 110 plus summer days. When you're wearing shorts those hot car seats don't feel too good on bare legs. They have a nice little section at the back of the produce department where they have a decent selection of natural/whole foods. Most Starbucks inside of markets are just not so good, but the one they have is great and the ladies that work it are alway cheerful and friendly. PIZZA, I love their pizza! You can grab an always ready slice while you shop or call in order for a whole pie and pick it up. Their bakery has killer Apple Fritters, yum. But the real danger is their Devil Dogs, they are a chocolate indulgence I choose to avoid on most of my visits to this store. For my husbands birthday one year I ordered lots of mini Devil Dogs and their Napoleons, they were amazing! I also got some wonderful mini croissant sandwiches made up from their deli. Which leads me to my favorite part of the store, THE DELI They carry Boars Head meats and cheeses. Especially the really awesome and hard to find Pesto Parmesan ham, (best deli meat next to the Boars Head All American BBQ chicken). Then I also get some of the Havarti cheeses, the Havarti Dill is delicious. And what makes a great deli even better is that the ladies that work here always make me feel like a valued customer. Another bonus is the Wells Fargo inside so that you can do your banking here as well. So why can't there be a wonderful store like this in every town?!? read more

When the Bashas's on McCulloch closed I drove the couple of miles to this location, I'm sure glad I made the short drive, it's the only parking lot with coveted parking to protect you from the sun. they have a Starbucks, Mexican restaurant, a great bakery and deli. It is one of the biggest supermarket around. All the help is friendly. Out of the way, but worth the drive. read more

This is by far the best grocery store in Lake Havasu. To start off they have a parking lot that provides shade for your car. As you enter, the AC is running smooth and will instantly relax and soothe you from that melting heat. To the left is a full bakery serving fresh donuts, a sandwich shop, Mexican food, chicken and a wide variety of other food. Wells Fargo also has a small branch here for your banking pleasure.
