Her comments were not only inappropriate but also shocking. She went on to describe Kirk using extremely derogatory language and expressed gratitude that he was no longer living. Her vitriol was directed not just at him, but also at the impact of his death on his family, dismissively stating that his children were now without a father. This kind of discourse is not only rude but reflects a lack of empathy and basic decency. Feeling uncomfortable and taken aback by her harsh words, I tried to steer the conversation away from such a sensitive topic, explaining that I was late for work and needed to leave. The local cashier knew a local who came in, and was busy talking to them instead of greeting customers. Ok I get it. Like I said, the fro-yo was just ok. I don't have any fond memories of my frozen yogurt. I'll try a different spot next time.
