What this process does is open up the skin and clean out the pores so that it can breathe again, as well as infusing a bunch of hydrating serum's into my skin to help it rejuvenate itself. The process itself is very relaxing and Linnea explains everything as she's doing it so you understand what's happening. You know good stuff is happening when your skin starts tingling. One thing for sure is that I feel like my face is clean and less clogged. After the treatment I noticed a lot of the blackheads around my nose are gone. I've had traumatic experiences in the past that have led me to intentionally seek out women-only spaces whenever possible, which is why this interaction affected me so strongly. With the additional context, I recognize that my original characterization was stronger than warranted and understand now that the questions were part of the business's standard process. She was in the lower level. The ambiance of the location was very warm and welcoming. My husband was able to sit in the lobby and get some coffee while he waited for me. He really liked that. The waxing room was in the next area which also had another seating area. The room was clean and quiet. The table was more like a bed and was very comfy. Definitely more luxurious than other places I had been. Diana was very thorough and made me comfortable. The wax itself took about 45 minutes, but that was probably because we got to talking lol. She truly takes pride in her work and wants to be happy with your results. She told me if I got home and noticed that she had missed something to just give her a call. But she didn't! Most of the time after I get waxed I have to "clean up" some stragglers the next day. It's been 2 days no strays! Probably the best wax anyone has done for me. I would be lying if I said it was painless, (duh... it's a Brazilian!) but she did a very good job and pain was minimal. I will definitely be returning in a few weeks!
