The bun bo hue was good, even though we asked for less spicy, it was still spicy to me! I loved that I didn't feel thirsty after unlike some viet restaurants. This means they don't use a crazy amount of MSG. Would definitely come back!

I tried the pho tai ga, the pho with med rare beef and chicken, and it was delicious. The broth was very flavourful with plenty of cilantro. The noodles and the meat were cooked perfectly. The beef was better than the chicken, so personally I'd stick with that for next time. The portion was very big and a lot of food. I also tried the crispy spring rolls for the first time and they were so yummy. The portion only came with 2, but I wish there was more! They are decently sized spring rolls though. They come with a sauce that paired very well with them. All the food came out in a timely manner and was very fresh. Overall this was a pleasant discovery and makes it into my top 3 pho restaurants easily. The Duck Herbal Noodle Soup (Mì Vịt Tiềm) is very authentic with a rich herbal broth and a massive, tender duck leg. If you're not used to traditional herbal soups, the aroma can be quite strong, but that's part of its authentic flavor. My favorite is still the Crab Noodle Soup (Bánh Canh Cua). The portion is a little smaller than I remember, but it's still packed with crab and toppings, and the taste has remained just as delicious. We also tried the $28.95 combo, which offers great value with generous portions and a nice variety of dishes. Overall, Pho 90 continues to deliver authentic Vietnamese comfort food made with quality ingredients. Think of it as a Pho 99 in a Pho Anh Vu clothing. And I think MS Pho strikes the best balance of both worlds, because I liked what I ate. The pho and vermicelli tasted familiar, like home. The Chicken Pho was fresh, and with the old school MSG that I am familiar with. The vermicelli was really well made, except the spring rolls were a bit too crunchy (I am weird I know). The portion was very good, so the value was as good as the old-time Pho 99. The 2 dishes were sufficient for the 3 of us. I freaking love sharing my food, so I love this aspect of MS Pho.
