It's small enough to be comfortable and feel NOT crowded on most days and offers social events where you can really get to know everyone. Most of the members I've met have kids on the swim team or participate in the tennis, but we enjoy events like Chicken Bingo, Float Night, Book Club and my personal favorite: Flip Flops and Lemon Drops! ( a ladies social evening) The pool has giant, twin twisty tunnel slides that are a hit with all age groups, as well as lap lanes and a kids entrance area. We chose this club because there's no mandatory monthly food service, which we tend not to eat because we are a little picky health-wise. There's just a basic snack bar and you can bring your own food to grill or picnic.

My son met the 42-inch height requirement and has safely enjoyed similar attractions before, yet we were still made to feel uncomfortable and singled out throughout our visit. What upset me the most was watching my son cry after getting hurt, and instead of showing concern or compassion, staff looked at him, walked away, and laughed with another coworker. As a parent, that was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable to witness. No child should ever be treated with such disregard, especially when they are visibly upset and crying. Throughout the visit, my children both older and younger were watched excessively, which made us feel targeted instead of welcomed. As a Black family, the treatment we experienced raised serious concerns about bias and discrimination. I fully understand the importance of safety rules, but rules should be enforced respectfully and equally for everyone. Families come to these facilities to feel safe and enjoy time together, not to feel humiliated, ignored, or judged. I will be contacting the district and administration for both facilities to formally report these experiences and seek accountability. I hope steps are taken to ensure no other family or child is made to feel this way again.

They have over 20 racquetball courts that we use for wallyball. The courts are a bit dilapidated and the tiles are coming off, but still functional and reasonable for Saturday morning games. The place overall could use an update but that's not my place on how they use their fees from visitors. They have a lounge area in the center with couches, chairs and tables that work for pre-game meetups and some socializing after our games too. Upstairs they have the woman's locker and bathroom. The men's is on the first floor. The workout machines don't work, more for decoration. I think most people come here only to be play in the courts.

They let the basket ball players cut into our time. When I asked for their help, they shortened the pickleball hours. The gym is dirty. The locker room is about 100 years old. In the summer, it gets very crowded. The athletic director and regular director used to get to know us and notify us of changes. Now all they do is change the calendar and call it a day. The front desk staff is unfriendly.
