Played for the first time last weekend with a large group for a birthday celebration. It was so much fun! My wife practically had to drag me away. I grew up playing Wham-o Trac Ball, which uses the same rackets. That brought back a lot of memories. Combine that with team competition and bumper cars and it covered my sports and amusement park fandoms. They really need to build something like this as part of a larger family fun center type of place that also has other activities. What a fun and interesting time. My friend hosted her birthday party here a few weeks ago. I had zero idea what whirlyball was prior to the invite and had to look it up online. Its strangely difficult yet fun at the same time. Its bumper cars meets basketball meets lacrosse. Don't be fooled, you will work up a sweat! I dont know how much it cost to reserve a court, or how far they book out. I do know there are two separate courts and they've got a small area for arcade games. read more

Debated between 3.5 and 3 stars. It's a fun concept and reasonably priced when you have a group of people. However, I think it could be managed a little better. The worker that was supposed to watch over our stuff wasn't really paying much attention, so he wasn't keeping his floor properly when half the shots were going in so it was hard to have an accurate score, and the ground itself had a couple puddles from some leaks that weren't addressed that kept actively leaking and you could see that there was a broom there where someone was at one point wiping up the mess between games but our worker didn't seem to care to do anything. So if it was a little better managed, I would have given this a solid four stars. But still, not too bad of an experience once you rush past those couple things, and it's a nice place that you can just rent out each half and kind of do your own thing with your party. Party. We'll definitely have to come again and see if the experience is any better, but mostly to try to redeem myself from my poor performance! read more

So I entered the establishment thinking this was going to be fun then the ref was a tall skinny man that had a hole in his shirt and was staring and by friends butt and he smelled like beef jerky then I went to the bathroom and there was blood on the floor and the red came in and said touch me I looked at him weirdly and said What he said never mind and said the bathroom was closed then I saw these creepy door and I went in it and there was these weird lamps and they appeared to be bloody And a tattoo on them then after I left I notice a car was following me and it was the ref he was speeding Up and hit me off the rode he took me to his struck and made me eat meat from the people that he made lamps of overall great experience Would Go agian. read more

I have been to Whirlyball on two occasions. Both were for private parties where the whirlyball court was rented out. First came here for a birthday party (a 30th birthday party). I never heard of whirlyball but once I attended my friend's party I was hooked on the game. The building isn't sexy and instead felt more like an old bowling alley type of vibe with the faint smell of smoke and outdated décor. But I don't even care; in fact, I think that made me love this place even more. The whole vibe is chill/laid backed but a ton of fun. Since I was so hooked the first time I decided to throw my husband a birthday party at whirlyball. No issues at all with scheduling the court/room for my private event. The staff was friendly/helpful throughout the planning/reserving. The day of we were allowed to set up the area with our own food/snacks before our court time was reserved. Our guests had a great time! Everyone seemed happy - those who were playing whirlyball and those who sat at the tables that lined the court and could watch the game. Could get in as many games as possible within the time reserved. The referee was fun and added another fun element to the game. Take an Aleve before if you play because you do get bumped around, especially if your car gets rammed into a wall - but that's the fun of it! Good for adults and kids - tons of fun! read more

I have been here twice, both for work functions and we had a blast each time! I don't know the actual prices but this last time (just a few weeks ago) someone organized it we paid $20 per person and we had the court from 7pm-10pm. We ended up with around 24-25 people and it was perfect. We had just enough people to swap in and out between games and no one felt like they didn't get to play enough. I planned a birthday party here. It was suggested from friends to try it out. I called 2-3 times and left messages before I got a call back to book my party. It seemed every time I did call this happened. They have long hours but never seem to answer and you have to leave a message. When I did book our party I told them that it was my first time and how many hours should I book. We decided that 2 hours is usual and your allowed to bring in your own food & drinks with a private area for your party. It was a surprise party, so I asked if I could bring decorations and what time I could set up. You literally have it for two hours and there is a party that ends the same time yours starts. No buffer to time to clean /set up in between. Basically at 15 minutes before my party was to end, I had to clean up and load up my stuff at the same time the next party was standing there staring at us waiting for us to Finish. The party areas is not very big so it was cramped and full of people. Had I known that it's one after another back to back I would have booked another hour. We had fun playing whirly ball and the referee was great. It's a older building behind another but it something fun to do. My suggestion is book more time if your having a party so you don't feel like your getting kicked out. It costs $180 a hour so with that price tag I expected more I guess. read more

I never heard of whirlyball until my boyfriend asked if I wanted to go play with some of his friends. He, of course, described it as a bloodsport with bumper cars. So we went and it's super fun! You need ten people, 5 per team. Then you cruise around this mini arena (for lack of a better word) in your bumper car with your scoop and fight for a waffle ball and try to score points by putting the ball into the goal. The goal is kind of like a soccer goal with the netting but placed more like a basketball goal. Don't be afraid! It's really fun, though I do have a few battle bruises from the driving crank. The building is really nondescript and honestly it's nothing special inside either. But it's a good hour of honest fun for $16 bucks per person. A fairly cheap way to start a Saturday afternoon. Hands down Whirlyball is just over all fun! This place was in an industrial area, quiet corner in the back lot. Came here for a work outing and it was a great time. Played from 6:30-10pm. Place looks a little run down but it's bring your own food, beer and 10+ friends and it's on! Once you get going who cares how the place looks. I like the fact that it's very private. The carts could be updated a little bit and the AC could blow more cold air but overall it's just a blast. I wish they didn't have the plastic protected screen because you can't hear or scream at any players from the side line. A net or some small vent holes through the screen would be nice so we can cheer the teams on and talk smack making it more fun. Ceiling needs to be a little higher as well. But over all an awesome time! read more
