So we like this location because it has more activities indoor activities for the kids. For example- bumper cars, glow golf, fly zone, laser tag and trampolines etc. There is not much of a selection of video games. Most of the games are gambling games to win tickets. One of the biggest negatives is the lack of seating for adults. They could scatter some benches throughout the facility so adults don't have to stand for 3-4 hours. So if you have a bad back or injury. You will need to come early to get a table. It's pretty expensive and we have found that the best days to come are on holidays. For example- we are here today MLK day and the kids got 2 hours unlimited attractions. Which are normally like 10 bucks per attraction. This doesn't include a charge card to play video games. Overall it's ok - it gives the kids some physical activity options to do in the winter. We don't order food from here. Too expensive - so can't speak to the good quality.

Just a quick view of the party room! Plus ZZ the robot stopped by!

Hands down a genuine 5 star rating! I called about 1- 1/2 weeks prior to having a bday party here. I wanted a place that was fun and active for kids age 5-13. This fit the bill! The young woman who I spoke to over the phone was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. This was a bit unplanned but I figured it would be an experience the kids would remember! I initially was hesitant about the price but after the party it truly was worth every penny! Pros: they have different party packages to fit your specific price budget. I chose the supreme I believe 3 activities for 10 kids, pizza, 2 pitchers or pop and a party room (time limit). They equip the party rooms with napkins, paper plates, and cups! Total bonus! And I loved that they had a coat rack on the wall!! The room was clean and surprisingly did not smell (like sweaty kids). 5 stars for this portion Staff: our party hostess was probably the sweetest most adorable young lady! Young and she was new there but I couldn't tell! She was on top of the activities, tended to the adults in the party and assured we had enough water/pop etc. checked up on adults quite frequently! She was a busy bee! I believe her name was Victoria...there were also other employees, the young lady who helped me book the room and other staff at the counter! I am kicking myself for not remembering her name but she was phenomenal! She checked in on us regularly, she seemed liked she was probably a shift supervisor or manage my as her attentiveness and demeanor were that of management. The other staff was polite and courteous as well! 5 stars all the way here! Food: pizza was from Jet's and surprisingly enough it was just Meeeh...almost like they used left overs from other orders. The 3 pizzas we had 2 pepperoni and 1 cheese lacked "cheese" (rolls eyes) seriously Jet's get it together! 2 stars for this portion but because it was delivered by Jets and made by Jet's I can't take away any stars! Events: according to the kids their favorite was laser tag! Of course (hand on hip)! They all enjoyed playing but complained because the other team used light jackets to cover up their vest so they couldn't get tagged. Bummer (I don't know if this can be regulated but look into it) their next favorite was bumper cars!!! Oh boy my 13 year old LOVED this part she said it was super fun! They also did Bounce house! Well you can't go wrong with a bunch of kids working off energy! 5 stars for activities! Games: Cons-not many to choose from more of a variety would be great also 90% of all the games are about 4 coins so you're coins don't last very long....bummer.....so the only REALLY BIG thing that was a true disappointment was that with your party package you do not get any coins for the bday child and it does not include any coins for the attendees. But one of the parents as a gift purchased coins for all of the kids! I can't knock off any points here because according to the employees it is regulated by a different company. Overall experience was 5 stars the staff went above and beyond for this party. They did things I didn't expect but made sure I as a customer was taken care of! The experience my kids and attending kids had was FUN! Overall this place is worth every penny! Just don't raise the prices and we will be customers for a long time!

I love coming here with my boys! Between laser tag, arcade games, glow in the dark out out gold there is always something for us to do!

Waste of money. Everything is overpriced or does not work. Many areas that require a fee to enter are timed so you have to get out quickly.

I heard about the "Bayou Adventure" last Tuesday and was excited to take my kids there all week. I…read moreread about all the fun activities and the giant animatronic troll at the entrance, and I thought, "my kids are going to love this!" Saturday rolled around and even my wife tagged along because she was scouting for birthday party venues. Upon entering, we could only smell the funk of locker room and feet seemingly magnified by the "giant hot tent" the activity center is sheltered in (unless they were trying to pass it off as the smell of the swamp - and if the real bayou is anything like this, I'm staying out of Louisiana). Visually, I thought I was in the wrong place from what I read online. More than half of the arcades were broken (and those that did would either eat your tokens or not give out the proper tickets), the slot car activity and animatronic troll were broken, the place was dirty, and the teenage employees have all the apathy of prisoners on work release. Nothing says, "We appreciate your business" like being absolutely ignored by the teen-aged employees clustered together behind the counter socializing - and you need an employee for any of the activities. One of the sorriest examples I can provide is when my 8-year old daughter (a self-proclaimed tom-boy and future basketball prodigy) couldn't wait to show off her skills at the basketball shoot-out. We had the rudest "attendant" help us out, and made my daughter shoot from the very back of the court (later we realized older kids were able to move up significantly). Our helpful attendant couldn't wait to get back behind the counter to socialize again, and my daughter was disappointed that she didn't have the strength to sink regulation-distance free throws. Like putt-putt golf? They have a disheveled course littered with wood chips and no boundaries on many of the holes (hope you enjoy playing under a dark bridge and fishing golf balls out of a filthy makeshift pond for your young kids). My kids were so disappointed, and I was mad at myself for hyping them up for the "big surprise" on the weekend. I hope this review keeps a few people out of this place. I wasted $30 here, and will ward friends away if I'm able. I'm not sure if Joe Dumars is associated directly with the Bayou Adventure, but if he is I'd be ashamed. Also, I wanted to make mention that I usually ONLY write positive reviews (please don't hesitate to look at my reviews). Now if you'll excuse me, I have to give my kids a bath to wash the filth off.

My family and I have been coming to Joe Dumars for at least 10 years, and I have to admit it seems…read morelike it's been going downhill for some time. Every time we come back it seems something else is out of order and nothing seems to be replaced or updated; lots of arcade games from the 90's ("Dance Dance Revolution", a claw game that gives out "The Osbourne's" bobbleheads) and more than 3/4 of the games are out of order. The building itself seems to be in a sad state, with lights burned out, visible dust and dirt, areas cordoned off with plywood, and a thick "locker room" smell. On the plus side, the staff seems friendly and attentive, and I've been happy with the team sports. Also, the arcade section is cheaper than, say, Dave & Busters, but I can't say it's a good value b/c of all the broken, dirty equipment.

When we arrived, the place was mostly empty. It honestly made it feel like we had the entire course to ourselves. We felt like VIP. The staff great! From the moment we walked in they really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was fun, colorful, and super relaxed. Plus, I got a chance to win against my husband a couple of times. ;) he always beat me in everything. After we finished golfing, we played some of the arcade games and ended up laughing the entire time. It was such a great way to unwind and reconnect. Whether you're planning a date night, bringing the kids, or hanging out with friends, this place is a solid choice. We had a blast and will definitely be back!

We reserved a time online, and spent 30 minutes beforehand playing the arcade games. They sell bottled drinks (pop, water, etc). They stagger the starting times so no one is waiting for you, and you aren't waiting for the next hole either. It felt like we were by ourselves when we were putt putting, which was really cool. It took us about 45-60 minutes to get through all 18 holes. There are a few hooks near the door to hang your jacket if you wish.
