Ice cream was so soft when the cashier handed us our cones they dripped all over the place before we even could start eating! In fact they were such a mess we ended up throwing away before we got 3 blocks! When we asked why was so soft, this time they said they "just took it out of the freezer." That does not make sense to me. What the heck?! This is the third experience with same issues! We keep trying because it's the only Baskin Robins in town! And I don't want any business to suffer. The "Food" was not what was ordered. I ordered the triple scoop Chocolate with Marshmallow topping. The door dasher arrived, texted me saying that they didn't have marshmallow available. Was offered Oreo instead. How is that comparable? I tried to cancel my order but Baskin Robbin's said the order was already confirmed. I was NOT REFUNDED! Upon reading further reviews apparently this has happened multiple times. Baskin Robbin's apparently revels in poor products and service. As you can see from the other reviews, employees can make or break a business. But this is actually the OWNERS fault for crappy training. I ordered a double scoop cup for Glenda and they were nice big scoops. Job well done! Now, the fun begins. They have 4 kinds of cookies and I want ONE of each. The case has 4 kinds of cookies but in 5 rows. She gets one cookie from each row and charges me for 5. No. Cookies are 80 cents each or 2 for $1.20. So my 4 cookies are $2.40, or so I thought. She charges me $4.00, 5 at 80 cents each. No. She tries to fix it, but can't. Her coworker tries to fix it but can't. The manager isn't there. They refund my money and give me the cookies. I said charge me for 3 at 80 cents each, that will be the $2.40 that I owe! They said no and please come again. Glenda got ice cream and I got cookies. Have a nice day! read more

This has to be the worst Ice cream joint in the whole USA, I went about a week ago and paid $5 for 2 scoops of ice cream. The scoops that arrived in front of me where two of the smallest portions I have ever seen. I finished the meal in 4 spoon fulls. I watched the person attempting to serve me the ice cream and it was painful to watch her struggle to serve the item. The employees seemed like they rather chit chat in the background then to actually provide any customer service. Do yourself a favor, go to any other ice cream joint in Abilene. read more

Almost all restaurants in Abilene are open, qhy not BR? Its impossible to order ice cream in a drive thru when there is no menu board. Open the doors and let us in. Make masks mandatory if you're concerned. read more

Unfortunately, this BR store is poorly managed and maintained. The AC in here never works well, it is dirty, and the large tinted glass windows just look filthy. While I love their selections, it's unfortunately just not pleasant to come inside and dine. read more

I was so happy to see a Baskin Robbins opening up in Abilene. Cold stone Creamery is the only place in town that has anything remotely like a good ice cream . . .but sadly, they are super expensive and have poor service. So I drove by BR's 2 or 3 times the first week they opened and they were so packed I just left. When I finally had a successful trip for ice cream, I had to wait in a long line. But I understand, it's new and a lot of people want ice cream when it's so hot outside. Here's the problem . . . there are 2 doors and a confusing setup, so people are cutting in line . . . mainly because I don't think they realize there is one line. Very frustrating! The ice cream was good, but not worth the wait. So . . . I decided to go thru the drivethru the next time. Long lines inside and only a few cars wait outside. I just wanted 1 double dip waffle cone, so I didn't think there would be problem. Get up to the window, pay and get my cone. Problem was, it was more like a single dip and a little extra. I had paid for a double dip. Ugh! I would have taken it back inside, but there were too many people. I felt soooo ripped off. Not worth the wait or the money. At least give me what I paid for! Also, very poorly designed drive thru. It's an accident waiting to happen. I might give it another try when it's been open for awhile. But I'll be going inside and making sure I get everything I paid for. I might try to go back after it's been open awhile. HORRIBLE, we came two minutes before they closed and they said "were closed" we pulled up to the window and ignored us like i wasn't there. We have been there in the past and they never got our orders right. Always out of something a year ago we cake for bubblegum ice cream when they first opened and they haven't had it since. For a new store, they need some help! Went in about 8:45pm and there was trash everywhere. Trahs cans overflowing, dirty tables, employees sitting on counter on cell phone, and employee drink cups all over. The employees really need longer gloves too! When they scoop the ice cream that is 1/2 way down, their arm and arm hair touches the ice cream. I moticed all the employees had ice cream all over their arms. First my order was wrong THREE times the sugar wasn't mixed and crunched in my mouth my friends coffee was watered down and when we confronted them they gave us the excuse of if we came earlier it would be stronger but other than that they couldn't do anything. read more
