We could see the various establishments through the glass doors, but couldn't access them. We were finally able to enter from 138th but initially did not see Sundae's Best. We almost gave us and thought they were no longer around, but alas, the Husband found it! What a relief! They are located in the Queen Crossing food court, so there are a bunch of other eateries around them. They have some pretty unique Asian inspired flavors, which was the reason I chose to visit them. On the day we visited, they had Injeolmi Mochi, Misugaru, Nurungji with Puffed Rice, Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Dalgona Coffee, Homerun Milk & Cookies, Red Bean with Strawberry Confit, Kalamansi, Miso Caramel Cone & Walnuts, Passion Fruit, Ube, Peach Calpis, Hojicha Biscoff, White Peach, Thai Iced Tea, and Guava. I was particularly interested in the Nurungi with Puffed Rice as others had raved about it. I sampled it and it didn't taste like the toasted rice at the bottom of a rice pot as someone had described. We ended up getting a large cup $8.95 with Hojicha Biscoff, Guava, and Peach Calpis. It was a decent amount and we were pleased. It was our last night in New York, otherwise I would have returned to sample some of the other flavors. They also rotate their flavors, so it's worth checking out.

Everything felt well organized and welcoming. The ice cream was fresh and delicious, and the portions were great. One of the best things is their Wednesday special -- buy one and get one free, which is a great deal if you're going with family or friends. Overall, a great spot for dessert. Good service, clean environment, and great ice cream. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

The store was definitely immaculate and the staff were really friendly! This was such a welcome surprise on College Point Blvd. There were plenty of ice cream cakes in the freezer, all ready to go, saw some old favorites like Fudgie the Whale and some newer Easter items as well. The only thing I didn't see were the familiar logs but I was told they could whip those up anytime. In fact, there were so many cake options, I had more than a few questions, which led to the manager, Jack coming out from the back to chat with me about the different varieties available and custom order options. In the end we picked out a variant of the Cookie Puss that I had never seen before. Jack even worked some magic with writing Happy Birthday on the side of the cake which was awesome! Carvel is highlighting the Pistachio flavor this month, which led me to pickup a few pistachio flying saucers as well to go with my cake. I'm sure I'll be back again.

So good that I couldn't even tell it was dairy free. Itching to come back. Food 5/5: Vegan ube is a must try. So rich, creamy, and nutty in flavor (warning for nut allergy). Then add a cake cone to that for ultimate Mister Softee nostalgia. Where else can you get dairy free soft serve that tastes so much like the real thing? I was too excited for my ice cream that I forgot to add toppings. I can't wait to come back to try them. Also look at the size of the scoop (see pic)! Ambiance 5/5: As expected. It's a small station in the middle of a food court and still manages to be clean and cute looking. It's busy but you won't be here long cause service is fast! Service 5/5: Friendly, fast service. It was impossible to relax in any of the pools available because there were children jumping and screaming and climbing and splashing water all over everyone. The only lifeguard on duty during the afternoon was on his phone giggling THE WHOLE TIME, even when kids were diving in a pool literally 2 feet deep. What I also did not expect was having to wait 40 minutes in line for a drink. There was only one person doing the drink, and then another one coming back and forth from what I found out to be the kitchen upstairs. Counting the people INSIDE the kitchen, cooking, there were a total of 5 people doing food and drinks during a fully booked day at lunch time. Also wasn't prepared to spend $26 + gratuity + tax for a drink (they automatically charge gratuity and then ask if you want to leave a tip lol) ON THE BRIGHT SIDE the place was clean and well kept, even the bathrooms were perfectly clean. Yes, a few hair here and there, but it was expected. The saunas were good and they had a good variety. I don't know if I'll come back during a weekend or festivity, $110pp seems a lot to not being able to relax.
