Visited the Starbucks on Northern Blvd. Physically, a small Starbucks so the tables are tiny. A little bit of outdoor seating. While I was there, noticed a napkin and straw on the floor, and the trash bins were full. However, the staff was courteous and professional. My wife and I tried a couple of specialty drinks and a lemon loaf, they were very good. Overall, you wouldn't come here for the ambiance (I've been to some Starbucks where you do), but the coffee and pastry were excellent in Starbucks style. read more

Horrible customer service experience this working! I always come to this Starbucks since moving to queens a couple weeks ago and never had such a rude barista today! She was the only employee that was not wearing a name tag. When taking my order I said "Hi. Good Morning" She responded with "What do you want?" Very nasty and such a rude attitude. I'm sure Starbucks does not tolerate this kind of behavior nor values. I asked the barista Albert for her name. He did not know her name supposedly and asked her in front of me and she responded with "Why?" "I'm not giving my name." He said oh I think her name is "Valerie" You are coworkers you know each others name but I understand he was trying to protect her from a complaint! Been coming here for years and this will always be my favorite Starbucks location. Everyone working here are professional, helpful, and always amazing. My issue today that I hope corporate Starbucks will address concerns the Starbucks Rewards program/app. So on one of the todays promo/contests I need to order 2 of ANY lattes (picture below) between a certain time frame to get star rewards. I ordered. London Fog Tea Latte expecting it to be my first latte ordered for this (picture also below). However my drink didn't qualify and presumably because it's a tea latte and not a coffee latte. I feel isn't right because the wording didn't say it has to be a specific kind. Just a latte. Wow. How can you leave 1 star for coffee? I loaded up a card to get some Delta Points. I can't wait until it's depleted. I've never seen such indifference to customers. It's as if my presence was an impediment to whatever else in the hell they were doing. It was busy one time and empty the next. Same treatment. Even after receiving the coffee I stood there waiting to ask for some sugar and a stirrer. I'd still be standing there had I not asked after 5 minutes or so. Unreal. I think giving them a fancy "title" has gone to their collective heads. You're pouring a cup of coffee, not performing an angioplasty. Back to other coffee shops for me. I've been to this Starbucks a few times and had a few 'ehh' experiences with the staff or the taste of my drink but today's experience takes the cake. As other Yelpers have pointed out they are often out of ingredients to make drinks. Went in today and inquired if they had the Starbucks brand kettle chips in the back and the barista half heartedly replied 'no'- fine whatever. Ordered my cold brew only to find out they were out of soy milk (i pour my own milk because this place has a tendency to give you 75% milk, 25 % coffee) come to find out they were also out of almond milk (i am lactose intolerant not a diva!) The barista suggested coconut milk which I find disgusting and would never even be an option even if I were desperate for caffeine. The unpleasant female manager processed my refund almost as if it were a huge burden to her. Here's an idea if you're out of non dairy milk let people know. Sidebar: this place is also filthy and the furniture has seen much better days. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

Today, February 15, 2023 @8:16AM at Store#: 7391-1676, 215-29 Northern Blvd., Bayside, NY 11361 my order was taken by Ash. Ash was very rude while taking my order. I specifically asked for white Chocolate Mocha Latte with a splash of Raspberry. She explained the type of raspberry they had and I said it's ok but give me one splash of raspberry. Then asked how many pump of chocolate and I said two (2) pumps. My order was correct on the register screen, but she decided to delete the whole ordered and say let's start the order over again with an attitude. She then input a Carmel latte and I asked why she deleted the order and put Carmel latte when I never asked for that. She argued with me and said that's what she heard me say and she's not deaf. She proceed to tell me I ask for Carmel latte with an attitude while I'm repeating my order to her. There were ppl behind me and kept giving me attitude. I sat down to eat my spinach wrap and drink my coffee and saw I was not the only person she was giving an attitude. She was giving all the women attitude. Let's not leave out the part where the manager which was a tall Asian guy was present but he did not say anything to her and act like he didn't hear how she was talking to the customers. I didn't think I would have to write a review for a simple cup of coffee but unfortunately that's not the case. I ordered a large holiday flavored coffee and they left (no exaggeration) a whole inch of empty space that could have been filled with coffee. If I'm paying $5.75 for a drink you better fill it up to the brim! (See picture). I am nowhere near a regular at Starbucks. Coffee is way too strong and I need to deposit like 10 packets of sugar to make it tolerable. If there wasn't a sale of buy one get one I would not have been there that day. Anyways that's besides the point. Had I noticed before I drove off and opened the lid 10 minutes later for it to cool down, I would have said something. The atmosphere was not typical of a Starbucks where people are sitting quietly chatting or working. Instead, there were children running around and people bring very loud. I love this Starbucks. To preface, I don't sit around in the store, I pickup and go, but I do it on a daily basis. The baristas are polite, but not generally over friendly. After about two months of me going there, they treated me as a regular and talk/joke with me all the time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ they're human and can be shy too, no biggie. Plus, it's coffee... we New Yorkers usually want to just get it and leave. I've never had any issues with any of my drinks. The overall cleanliness could be improved *sometimes*. I've been utilizing this Starbucks for over a year and I've only caught the bar or garbage being super messy about 3/4x. I've also actually seen people be slobs at the bar, and quite quickly after a staff member has just cleaned, and the staff doesn't hover over them. I mean, people need to be a little less piggy too... especially adults. The parking situation is very irritating and the store is really small. Those are the only negatives I really have to note. I wish they'd take over annoyingly outgrown, overflowing Tofu House so they could have a bigger store, a bigger parking lot and utilize the drive thru on that property.
