Not returning any time in the near future and let this review be your warning. Great concept but the execution has left much to be desired.

I purchased a double scoop containing Salted Peanut Butter Cup and a flavor called Moose on the Loose. The second flavor contained enormous chunks of fudge that were buried deep within the cream like forgotten treasure. It was exactly the sort of heavy molecular fuel a human body requires after arguing with a giant rock. There was also a glass cooler filled with vintage sodas. Nostalgia routinely robs my wallet before my intellect can mount a defense. I purchased an RC Cola and spent ten minutes explaining to the members of our group born in the 90's that there was a time in human history when cola came in more than two respectable varieties. The ice cream was excellent and my history lesson was free. If you find yourself in Manitou Springs with tired lungs, you could do a great deal worse.

Third trip to this Pueblo west location and each time have encountered the rudest and least helpful staff. no smiling faces on the employees or any other interaction besides asking us if our order was complete. the employees rolled their eyes and looked irritated. all the young ladies working acted like helping customers was the last thing they wanted to be doing. they did not fill our ice cream cones up, just stacked one scoop on top. I remember they used to put ice cream in the cone part as well. didn't seem like a good value for the money spent. I'd rather go to a friendly location where I was valued as a customer. another person in our party ordered a milkshake and was given the equivalent of chocolate milk. read more
