My second flavor was the salted malted chocolate chip cookie dough. I was not as impressed with this one it missed its mark somehow, I did not get a cookie dough bite. But my partner in crime got the sea salted caramel ribbon which was beyond fabulous. As you turn the corner walking into the store you get hit was the smell of the waffle cones being made fresh. The brightness of the shop and welcoming staff member guiding you in the direct of the line. The staff member who we were told switches off every half hour allows for the line to maintain its orderly faction and moves it along in perfect order. This is a must have and I will be back!

I'm sitting there like a forgotten glazed twist on the conveyor belt just spinning, waiting, slowly losing hope. I make my order. Boom. Automated voice. Great start. But then? Silence. No "Good morning." No "We got you." Not even a "Hold up, donut boy." Nothing. I'm out here wondering if I accidentally pulled into an abandoned Krispy Kreme museum exhibit. I've been sitting for five minutes, engine humming, soul fading, and I swear not even a sprinkle has moved inside that shop. It says they open at 5 a.m., but I guess I'm the final contestant in the "Does Kenny Even Exist?" challenge. I'm starting to think the donuts are fresh, but the staff is still asleep in the back like powdered sugar-covered hibernating bears.
