They just remodeled and it looks great! So much more welcoming and enjoyable to visit. Of course everything looked clean because it is new. The cake freezer was well stocked and it all looked amazing. So many frozen treat options to choose from. My kids enjoyed every moment of it!

This is our go-to location. It is close to home and the staff has always been so nice. Although I feel like most things are overpriced, everything has always been up to par.

I…read morehighly recommend checking out this place (and the town as a whole) during the holidays-- the whole Main Street is decorated, and it seems like every business is on board. Walking into the Soda Shop, it feels like a kid's daydream. There was candy and souvenirs everywhere, a big ice cream counter, and, of course, the soda shop. I noticed that they also sell food here-- it smelled amazing and I would definitely give it a try if I came again. Ordering was easy, and the young man behind the counter was really helpful-- I had never been to a soda hop before, so I had some questions about the options. He did not make me feel silly for having questions, and he did a good job of both training his coworker and being attentive to the line at the same time. I ordered a sugar free salted caramel soda (there were so many sugar free options!!!) It was delightful. I was a little apprehensive that it would actually taste like the flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised. The price point is higher than you would pay for a normal soda, but I think that the novelty of the experience is worth it. We had a great time, and would definitely return (I want to see the upper level, too-- that was closed for a private event when we stopped in).

I ordered a wrap which was very good the mayonnaise was more on the outside wrapper than inside the wrap though. The space is nicely set up with comfy couch seating upstairs and tables and chairs downstairs. Pricing is reasonable.

The seasonal DF was ube coconut sorbet and my hubby ate it down quick with some ube cookies which were flavorful and soft. He's a big ube fan! Moka got a peanut butter banana yogurt bar and literally munched it down! This place gets a high-paw from Ms Moka! They have a good assortment of tillamook Icecreams to choose from. It's a local family, and the lady was super kind and answered all our questions. They came up with the mochi cone recipe. A great place if you want to support local!

Mochi Cone! MOCHI Cone! OH how I simply love sayin' MOCHI CONES!!!…read more Thanks to hunger, we probably would not have discovered this chill food cart area called The Highlands. Thanks, or no thanks, to Lulu food truck being closed on 4th of July weekend :( we probably wouldn't have been in the mood for some Hawaiian food! Anyways, after eating at Gyro King (review pending) and downing a lovely lager from Wayfinder, we wanted dessert but still had that Hawaiian food craving in our heads. Thanks to roaming the area, and smack dab in the middle of it all was a little (somewhat) Hawaiian themed ice cream shop called Mochi Cones (: We enter this tiny shop, and the two ladies working there were welcoming and helpful. The served the kids their ice cream and loved it! But I wanted the Lillikoi cupcake ($4) and ube crinkle cookie ($2). And OH MY GEE!!! The ube crinkle cookie was perfect! Or shall I say soft "perfection". The ube flavor and sweetness was just right. My only failure was not taking a picture of it lol, sorry. As for the Lillikoi cupcake, I practically had the same reaction. Cravings cured! So, I inquired a bit about the pastries and asked where they came from. And what another great discovery! The baked goods came from North Plains. My eyes lit up as I've heard about this lady/owner baker before in that area. She had to be the one from ONAS Patisserie. I was in awww because she creates some delicious tasting malasadas. Look her up! You'll thank me!

They put so much care into everything. Listen- always get the salad here. They're always delicious and contain surprises. This time we got marinated rhubarb, which is in season, and which I'm excited to make and put in my own spring salads at home. Also, edible flowers, and while we ate lunch, we saw a worker picking them from the little garden. The sandwich was a shrimp roll, which was great, maybe with homemade bread? It was perfect. The sandwich was zesty, with a remoulade and little pickled jalapeños. And what were those crunchy things on top? Crushed barbecue potato chips! A delightful detail most restaurants wouldn't bother with. And the soft serve sundaes, which are also full of artistry and interesting textures! You have to get one. The food is really good, but I had the shrimp roll, and some of the ingredients seemed like they were there to add an ingredient not add a flavor. Otherwise great stuff, it was a little pricey.
