Nice little Baskin Robbins awkwardly located between the rail road tracks and what some day will be a new Les Shawb. Recently remodeled, it's clean, well lit and always well stocked with 31+ flavors. They used to have 3 tables inside but got rid of them and now have no where to sit. Luckily they kept their drive-thru if you want to bother going inside. The employees have always been friendly and quick and even though parking is a little strange I enjoy coming to this location.

    Ridiculous looking 2 scoop sundae!!!

I got a 2 scoop sundae and it's pathetic looking!! It's a scoop and a half, barely any hot fudge, a tiny bit of whipped cream and like 2 nuts!! Fucking ridiculous!! Especially when you wait in the drive thru line for over half an hour with only 3 cars in front of me and pay almost $6 for this!! Pathetic!!!

This is our go to spot for a quick treat, its nice because we don't even have to get out of the car, they have a drive-thru! The ice cream is always good here, they don't skimp on giving you enough ice cream or on toppings which is nice. I always get the Banana Royale, and they load it up with bananas, caramel and nuts sooooooo good! It's a little pricey but definitely worth it. My only complaint is that the drive-thru always seems to take forever even when there's no one in line. Will be back though :)

In the middle of eating my Brownie Sundae and had a string of hair in my mouth. So disgusting!

Went through the drive thru for 2 brownie Sundaes. Got home and started to eat my desert. 2 seconds later I had a hair string in my mouth and quickly fished it out my mouth. Threw the ice cream away. So disgusting and a way to ruin a desert!

Small scoops. The ice cream is good but they are stingy with their portions. For that reason I do not recommend this facility.

The price is outrageous for the ridiculous portion. It's not what it used to be. I don't know what has changed.

The staff is also so amazing. They're genuinely kind, welcoming, and patient, and you can tell they take pride in what they're serving. Even when it's busy, they still manage to make you feel seen and taken care of, which makes the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is what really makes it stand out. It's cozy, clean, and super inviting. There's even a couch where you and your friends can sit back, hang out, and relax, plus board games you can actually play while you're there. It makes the place feel less like a quick stop and more like a fun little hangout spot where you can stay a while. DEFINITELY a must try if you're new to Hanford!!

I called in my order and spoke with a pleasant, courteous and professional employee. He quoted my order to be ready within 5-10 minutes which I don't feel was a bad wait time. I've been inside the building before and I like that it's always fresh inside with nice decor throughout. They are always very welcoming. I really like the sincere "hello" and eye contact upon entering.. unlike other places that do that yet out of habit or being mandated by management. Enough said. Pros: the bowl was prepared before my eyes with fresh fruit. I truly enjoyed the taste of the granola, mixed with the açaí base, peanut butter and fruit. I will definitely be back! Cons: perhaps a bigger portion container. I get everything is expensive nowadays and they too had to increase their prices as any business should but I believe the portion for $9 can be a bit larger.

He was so right. Superior Dairy is temporarily operating out of a small trailer while its classic old building across the street is undergoing renovations. That might not sound like the ideal setup, but the two young ladies working there certainly didn't let it get in the way of providing a great experience. Both were exceptionally friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to take care of us. I somewhat hesitantly asked whether they could make a pineapple milkshake. This was a deal breaker at Cold Stone when they looked at me like I was crazy for asking--I've never been back. Here, though, there was a brief "Hmm..." moment before one of the young ladies said, "We don't have a pineapple shake on the menu, but we certainly could add fresh pineapple to our vanilla ice cream." Sold! The result was an excellent fresh-pineapple milkshake--and exactly the kind of little bit of creativity and customer service that makes a stop memorable. It tasted so good on a hot day! The temporary location is actually quite pleasant, sitting alongside a beautiful park near Hanford's civic auditorium, with shaded outdoor seating where you can enjoy your ice cream. There's some interesting history right there as well: The distinctive building behind the stand is the old Kings County jail, known locally as "The Bastille." And then there's the ice cream itself. The temporary operation may mean simple surroundings and very plain serving cups, but don't let appearances fool you. The cups are plain, but the taste is not. My only regret is that I didn't try the fresh peach. Based on that pineapple milkshake, I have a feeling I missed something pretty special. Superior Dairy was a fun, friendly, unexpected stop on the trip home--and one I'd happily make again.

The tiny truck is aqua, with a little window showcasing the assortment of beautiful cupcakes. There is an adorable girl swiftly managing the long line of people. She even matched the adorable theme! She was wearing cute little overalls, with perfect eyeliner and a little bandana in her high ponytail. The whole thing just looked like a movie. Some of the cupcake flavors are: Rocky Road, Strawberry Sweetheart, Tres Leches, Birthday Cake, Banana Cream Pie, Snickerdoodle, Red Velvet.... The frosting is stacked high and each cupcake is decorated so sweet. After my lunch (from Tako BBQ), I ordered 2 cupcakes. I could not decide which two to pick, so at the last second I went with the strawberry sweetheart and the rocky road. I take my first bite of the rocky road. The frosting is high so I have to open my mouth super wide in order to get the perfect bite. The frosting is not mega sweet (yay), but it is super soft and creamy. It is surrounded by marshmallows and slivers of nuts. The chocolate cake is super soft, and is absolutely not dry inside. Next I tried the strawberry one. It is white cake, with strawberry mousse inside topped with whipped cream and a homemade candy heart. The candy heart is a bit too sweet for me, but the whipped cream on top was yummy!!! The mousse inside was pink and very rich, but still, not incredibly sugary, it was delicious.

There were twelve different cupcakes when we walked up. Strangely, none of them were labeled. I just didn't get that. We tried three different cupcakes: peanut butter chocolate, candy corn, and something like a vanilla-caramel-cream cheese. They were all fine. The consensus was that they weren't necessarily better than homemade from a box. The odd part of the experience was that, when it was time to pay, after presenting their credit cards, customers were told, "You have the option of giving a 15% tip or a 20% tip." Both customers I observed seemed taken aback at this, as was I.
