    Churro sundae

Came here on a Thursday with friends and this place is actually super popular and busy. There are so many fun colors that make this such a fun and happy place, For the menu, there are so many options. It can be quite overwhelming. It's just like a regular ice cream shop where they have all the flavors lined up; you can either have them make something, you can get a scoop of ice cream, a fruit bar, or an ice cream bar. They also have snacks and mangonadas. I ordered the churro sundae which was so good! It was so sweet and tasty. It came with 3 churros, a scoop of ice cream, a drizzle of your choice, and some whipped cream. The churros were made fresh so when I bit into it, they were nice and warm. For the ice cream I got the tequila ice cream with almonds. The ice cream was really good and you can definitely taste the tequila flavor. It honestly tasted like a vanilla ice cream with a splash of tequila. There were also pieces of shredded almonds which gave the ice cream a nice texture. I really loved it. Everything was super good and I look forward to coming back and trying something new on the menu.

I love going to La Michoacana. There are multiple locations in LA and I always go to them whenever I'm nearby and craving a sweet treat. I stopped by this location when I was in Visalia for the weekend looking for an ice cream shop that opens past 8pm. We got two things- single scoop of tres leches flavored ice cream in a cup for about $2.50 and a mango flavored micheagua drink with fresh strawberries chunks in a tamarindo candy rimmed plastic cup for $7. The ice cream is a really good deal because of the portion you get for less than $3. However, the micheagua drink was a bit pricey for what you get as it's a really simple drink. Both ice cream and drink are tasty though and hit the spot after a heavy, greasy meal. Having been to La Michoacana many times elsewhere, I recommend the paletas and ice cream scoops because they have so many flavors to try and I never came across a bad one. The mangonada is great too if you love mangos.

Got a Mangoñada today. It was a medium size cup, but they don't fill it all the way up. It didn't taste bad, but I don't think I'll go back there. If you want a good Mangoñada, and don't mind the drive, go to Coco Loco in Tulare. You won't be disappointed. $7 for the medium. Not worth it in my opinion.

Costumer service was excellent! Worker answer any question ask! They had many flavors to choose from!

I ordered it with a vanilla base and after finishing it, I can definitely say it was worth it. The graham cracker sprinkle on top of the chocolate drizzle combined with the perfectly toasted marshmallow sent me to a campfire of sweet pleasures one can only dream of. We also ordered a scoop of Golden Oreo which in retrospect, would've matched perfectly with the S'mores delight. Customer service was excellent and the gentleman in the front did a fantastic job creating this work of art shown in the photo. Would definitely recommend if ever in Downtown Visalia!

Over the summer, I've frequented scoops as the location and atmosphere are unique and fun. It is in a great spot, and has friendly staff behind the counter. Unfortunately, the ice cream itself is intensely unremarkable. Flavors at Scoops are either minimally flavored creamy milk or absolute hydrogen sugar bombs. There is no in between. I did enjoy one flavor, but I inquired the scooper if they made it in house but was disappointed to learn it was one of their imported flavors. Additionally, the dirty sodas are not so dirty. They are simply overpriced sodas. Moreover, the staff is helpful and prompt, but management fails to realize that a single scooper for a busy night sours the experience for all. Long lines and wait times are easy to build up especially when the more involved items are being ordered. A few times I've heard some people tell the scoopers that they know the owner, at which I've questioned the point. Odd. Speaking on owners, of the times I've visited Scoops I've seen them once. His contribution was yelling at his scoopers. It created an awkward environment and longer wait times. For being vocal and seemingly involved in their community, I expected the owners to be more involved and professional. Poor scoopers. Scoops has potential, yet the atmosphere and friendly staff are hindered by mediocre ice cream and incompetent upper management.

Then she continued to say that only the big cup which I responded no I want the small cup my daughter is autistic and she's obsessed with small cups small toys small everything for us mothers with special needs children people out there make it harder for us we always feel like we need to explain everything to rude people like this lady so I just said okay I don't want anything then she didn't even care about loosing a customer and just said oh well and left us unattended mean while I had to explain my daughter about how they couldn't do that she cried all the way home inconsolably asking why and why the whole ride home. It was a short lady probably mid 40's black hair. On our way home we stopped at Sabor Tucombo in Visalia and the lady was able to have that small cup with 2 scoops for my daughter. I will never buy again from this place and family and friends neither after hearing what they did to my baby girl.

The upstairs has an open seating concept, with only a few tables reserved ahead of time. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and casual, with low lighting, large comfortable chairs, and an intimate feel that's perfect for a date night or relaxed dinner. Keep in mind that the prices are higher than downstairs, but so is the menu. We started with a White Linen cocktail, which was incredibly refreshing on a hot summer afternoon and the perfect way to kick off our visit. We originally planned to order the Burrata Caprese with Fresh Basil, but they were sold out--which must mean it's a popular choice! Instead, we opted for the Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts, and they were absolutely delicious. The dish featured thinly sliced Serrano chilis that added just the right amount of heat. The crunch from the walnuts paired perfectly with the feta cheese and balsamic reduction. Best of all, the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly--crispy and tender without being soggy in the slightest. We loved this unique take on Brussels sprouts and can't wait to return to try more of the menu. Mia was our server and was both friendly and helpful, making our experience even better.
