We Just Walked Out The Door It Was So Bad! Me and my wife went recently to the Baskin-Robbins located at 4835 W. Mobile Highway in Pensacola early on May 21, 2025. The store is combined with Dunkin Donuts, which business was acquired by Baskin-Robbins in 1990. There was one woman running the Baskin-Robbins area. She was on the phone talking with someone the entire time we were there. We were looking at the ice cream selections. The female employee was ignoring us, so my wife after a couple minutes asked her if she was going to talk on the phone or help us. The woman was still on the phone but at least started to pay some attention to us, but she couldn't identify the types of ice cream, which were mislabeled. We were shocked that she didn't even know the types of ice cream, which is her job. She then called over the male employee who was running the Dunkin Donuts area to help identify the types of ice cream in the tubs. He told us that the labels were all wrong. That is inexcusable laziness! We were ready to place our orders, but the woman was still distracted off to the side talking on her phone again, ignoring us. We had finally had enough and we just walked out the door without buying anything. This business has a serious employee attitude problem and needs a manager to be present. That employee should be fired! It is clear to us that the female employee doesn't own the business, since she is helping to run it in the ground for the owner. We won't be going back! read more

A REAL Baskin-Robbins (or 31 Flavors as some used to call it back in the day). This may be one of the last ones standing in FL. All the ones in central Florida are shared with a nasty Dunkin Donuts. I hate Dunkin Donuts...nothing but bread with icing on it. In Tampa transplants from New England are opening D.D's on every corner it seems since around 2004. They all at first had a Baskin Robbins attached. Unfortunately they don't Market Baskin Robbins so no one goes to these two-headed establishments for ice cream, but instead for mediocre coffee and a sorry excuse for a doughnut. So those establishments don't keep up with the ice cream, they don't have many flavors and they are nothing but a display. Now that my rant is over... Yes this is a stand alone, real Baskin Robbins with tons of ice cream. The wonderful rich ice cream is the star! This location has all the flavors! They ever had my childhood fave, bubble gum...not my fave as an adult but I remember always getting bubblegum flavor at the Baskin Robbins next to the Navy Exchange...when I wasn't getting shaved ice. My adult favorites are: World Class Chocolate, Rocky Road, Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate Almond. Yes these all contain chocolate. I'm really funny about ordering chocolate ice cream anywhere else because I don't like the taste of milk chocolate or chocolates that are too sweet and not rich. I'm a dark chocolate, ganache type of girl. Baskin Robbins does chocolate right. This is a great location on Bayou Blvd. right past the Cordova Mall area. The location was clean, the service was friendly, there's enough seating for an ice cream shop and there's even a bench outside. My wish would be that a real B.R. lover would open one of these in Tampa. read more

We were enjoying some ice cream when a middle-school guy came in to order some milkshakes. On his way out the door, something happened and he dropped all three shakes. The staff jumped on cleaning up the mess and immediately made him new shakes free of charge. It was great to see them rescue his evening. Bravo! read more

It's been a long time since I've been to this Baskin Robbins location and it's still as good as I remember. I stopped by for my free scoop from their promotion. I had forgotten the flavor that I picked, but I do recall it having raspberries and frozen yogurt. It was very nice and delicious. A bit different from what I would normally get (chocolate chip cookie dough), but the texture was very similar. There were chunks that resembles cookie dough, but was not actually cookie dough. Either ways, it was satisfying. This franchise always offers the best ice cream and sorbet, in my opinion. Plus the staff are very friendly. read more

Tremendous service however I believe the wait was little to long for how many people were inside the establishment. The staff were very nice however they asked several time what flavor I wanted after I told them many times what flavor. During the COVID crisis I believe that the store was very sanitary. I appreciate this very much. However the staff didn't wear mask which concerned me very much. However I understand that state guidelines allow this I hoped the store would implement mask. read more

There were 8 people seated eating icecream, and the person on duty told everyone to leave as they were closing. The sign on the door stated winter hours December, January, February stores closes at 9 pm. It's March regular store hours are implied therefore 10 pm is the closure time. They lack customer service and those that were enjoying their evening were pushed out. I am very disappointed. read more

Baskin Robins is a great chain ice cream shop. I actually like Marble slab a but more, but you can't beat the prices at Baskin Robins. I had the Strawberry cheesecake in a sugar cone, and it was some of the best I've had in a while. the place is clean and the staff is friendly. I have been in this establishment many times because they carry my favorite ice cream. However, today I went in to get my favorite ice cream and a young woman as behind the counter with her mask under her nose and mouth while she was talking to an employee who was wearing a mask and working with open food. The young woman then stepped behind a refrigerator unit , but still behind the counter, to speak to a young man who did not have a mask on his face at all. The young woman then steps around to get something out of the refrigerator unit and sticks her entire face in a unit filled with food and she now has no mask at all. I ask her to put on a mask and her response was, "I'm not working." I replied, "But you're in public." I wasn't working either but I'm required due to a city ordinance and state executive ordinance to wear one in a place of business. I was so incensed at her response and general lack of concern for others that I could not stay to pursue the conversation. read more
