We have been here 3 times in 3 days. The ice cream is wonderful with a great variety to choose from. They also offer other homemade candies and fudge! The peanut butter fudge is particularly scrum-diddly-umptious. The kids working the counter are great and very patient with 2 small ones requesting samples. This is the spot on the beach to get ice cream! There are a great selection of flavors. I got one scoop of cheesecake and second scoop of chocolate peanut butter in a waffle cone for $10. The scoops are huge so it was worth it! The ice cream was so yummy. Service was excellent and they were very patient. Love this place, go everytime we are in Pensacola. A little touristy but the ice cream is good.

I wish I had gotten the name of the girl at the counter. She was so sweet! That said, the ice cream was meh. I don't get the hype behind this chain at all. My companion, upon seeing this place, was determined that we have dessert there. I said sure, why not? We went after being at a nearby Mexican restaurant, and well, upon entering, I was overwhelmed by all the options. My companion got his signature vanilla sundae with hot fudge and was in heaven. I opted for a small vanilla and chocolate chip, if I recall correctly. While it was tasty, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Except perhaps too sweet for my taste. Again - pretty average ice cream to me. What really sticks out to me about this place is the girl who attended us and my companion's smile at having his sundae. I'd return but likely with ice cream lovers (something I admittedly am not). read more

Took advantage of the beautiful weather we had and made our way to the beach with a craving for Kilwins. Greeted as soon as we entered and offered a sample of the delicious fudge. It always smells so good and it's always clean inside. Employees were friendly and helpful and let us sample the ice cream. The cappuccino chip is my go to and just incredible. read more

Heyyy, I've been coming to this place since I was a young man. The ice cream is always so good. Great flavor ideas, not too soft, not too hard. And they have every kind of cup or cone or bowl in waffle or cake or whatever. It's all good. And the service is always as great as it can be. It's not always perfect, but your services wouldn't be perfect either, if you had a shop full of dozens of sweaty tourists that are taking a break from baking in the sun. We had ice creams and a few slices of their chocolate cake. The ice cream is very good abd the cake is just like any other cakes. When we were there, the line was long. So, this happened last night at Kilwins on Palafox. I just sent a complaint to their email. Hello, I was in their establishment last night for Gallery Night and received a racial comment from one of their employees. I attempted to place my order for a pound of chocolate covered cherries and she kept telling me how do I want it, because they sell it by the box. So, I repeated myself. All I want is a pound of the chocolate covered cherries. She continued to have a problem understanding what I wanted. So, I reiterated myself in Spanish. I figured that if you don't get what I want in English, I'd try another language. I thought I was being funny. As she proceeded to complete my order, she went on to accuse me of being a racist and that she was Mexican. She looked Caucasian to me. And, she was heavy set. I didn't catch her name but, I'm Puerto Rican and I was just trying to place my order. I don't think it's appropriate for an employee to attack someone simply placing an order. Especially, accusing them of being a racist because she couldn't comprehend what I wanted. read more

I promised all the Grandkids ice cream after taking pictures and shopping. There was a small line but we didn't care. When we got to the door, i opened it and immediately was told by the young girl behind the counter to "shut the door". I said "ok, I'm trying to get the kids in" (because they are 3, 7 and 9. I turned around to tell my Daughter and Daughter in Law to wait outside with the 1 yr old and the girl said "if you can't get them in just shut the door and wait outside!" Now I understand that the door being open might make the workers feel a little rush of warmth (this was 7:50 at night) and can't be too great on the electric bill. But the minute and a half that it took the young lady to be nasty wasn't going to make that much difference. And it drove us straight to get on the Trolley to go to the Ice cream shop behind the Shrimp Basket... to where we walked inside the door and the young girl smiled and said Welcome in and also where we got our $50 worth of great ice cream. It doesn't take a lot to be courteous! You may have been having a bad day, but an ice cream shop is a happy place. You should be happy getting there and leaving there.
