The store is always clean, and I do mean always! Service/employees are also very friendly which is hard to find nowadays....I am sure it's a training thing because i frequent the store often, drive thru, walk in, call asking about what flavors they have in stock before I head over and I've gotten at least 3-4 different employees and they are all very friendly. We as a family we're looking for a nice Monday treat. The young man behind the counter completely ruined the whole experience. We got two creature things for the kids and he didn't even do it right. The guy was so rude about everything that we ended up not even getting ice cream for myself and my wife. I came here late on a Sunday evening. The parking lot is horrible but it appears that they are under construction to fix that. The Baskin-Robbins in Hampton Roads offers $1 scoops on Sundays. So I was a bit disappointed upon my arrival. However, I ordered a pint of Chocolate Chip Ice cream the cashier informed me that it was cheaper to get the prepackaged quart instead. I have been here twice in one week and I am NOT impressed. It is right across the street from my son's school and ice cream was the thing to do following evening school functions. On Thursday, we waited for nearly 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. Two ice creams were not labeled and the lady seemed confused as to what it may be and put out that I even asked. On Friday I ordered for my party of 4 and pulled up a coupon that was texted to me for BOGO cones and the MANAGER JUDY flat out REFUSED to honor the coupon. The service was slow and sloppy and the staff is RUDE! The place looks run down and dirty and don't even think about going to the bathroom. 24/7 but they don't actually serve any real ice cream after a certain time. They only serve vanilla and chocolate later on in the night and we paid almost $6 for two scoops of ice cream. With that amount of money I could buy a mini tub of ice cream with a pack of cones and serve myself multiple times. This shit was awful as I walked in and it was two people working the whole entire store one person ice cream one person in Dunkin' Donuts. The service is bad I ordered a medium milkshake and the guy who's working there he did not take any sanitary protocol and making a milkshake he took the blender container rinsed it out with water given that he still had ice cream in it from the last milkshake and he dried it out put milk in the container first before he added the ice cream so my milkshake contained too much milk. Pretty sure everybody knows how to make a milkshake you add ice cream first then you add the milk and then you blend it he put the milk first and then added ice cream that's the equivalent to adding the milk first and then adding cereal this guy was an idiot. But wait there's more as we waited to receive my milkshake he called us over to pay, I got my milkshake and the total came up to 13$ and some change I gave him a gift card that had 3 dollars on it he swiped it went through the total came down to $10 gave him another gift card that contained eight dollars on it he swiped it the total came out to two dollars and some change I handed him a five dollar bill given the total was two dollars and some change I have received a couple quarters and a nickel. I wish i would have not thrown away my receipt because I could give precise numbers. This place is garbage. Taking my business to cold stone or some place in del ray. I was very displeased with this particular baskin-robins. The service wasn't horrible however it took quite a while before we were acknowledged at the drive through and the wait for the drinks was twice as long. It seemed as if there was only one person working. But worse of all were the drinks we received. My friends tasted like pure sugar French vanilla while mine tasted like the milk had been out all day. I love both baskin-robins and dunkin donuts so this was a very disheartening experience. I would go back though, this could have been just a fluke situation, it was the day before the day before Christmas, and who wants to be at work? I look forward to further investigating the true scope of this establishment. read more
