No communication, the ball has been dropped numerous times. I've had a few problems with a new vehicle purchase and no trust what so ever in this service department. I had to be persistent between GM and the service department to get a faulty part replaced. I was reimbursed after I paid for the repair. GM just sent customers a letter regarding this same repair, offering to reimburse payments made. I don't know if it's because I'm female but I certainly feel a lack of respect and as though they think I'm stupid. Needless to say after two years of dealing with them I'm done! I've made a service appointment at another dealer and hopefully things go better there. We were looking to purchase another vehicle within the next few months. However, with this experience, I will not purchase from Joyce. I will continue to contact GM regarding some other issues, that I now believe this service department didn't contact them about.

Calls went unanswered, updates were vague or nonexistent, and every step felt like pulling teeth just to get basic information about my own car. A major mechanical failure should trigger urgency, transparency, and accountability -- instead, I got silence, excuses, and a complete lack of ownership. No customer should have to chase down a dealership for weeks just to find out what's happening with a vehicle they sold in "excellent condition." This is not just one department. It's the organization as a whole, including the sales department, the front desk and the service department! This experience has been exhausting, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing. He confirmed that the shuttle would also be able to pick me back up to come get my car when it was finished & that I'd receive a call. I was initially shuttled home by a service employee, Jeremy, who also confirmed I should get a call with an update on my car and they'd send the shuttle back to pick me up. Three hours later, at 4pm I got an automated text from Kia saying my car service was completed and that Kia looks forward to working with me again. I was still waiting on a phone call update on what happened with my car and confirmation that a shuttle was being sent out to pick me up. After waiting to hear something for an hour after receiving that text I finally called Kia asking where the shuttle was and spoke with Jennifer. Jennifer was kinda & said she would send a driver right away, as if it was unbeknownst to them that I even needed to be shuttled back there or was waiting for an update. I waited outside my house for 40 more minutes and no shuttle ever showed up & I received no calls. I only live 5 minutes away. My boyfriend who was at work at the time frustratedly called Kia on my behalf and spoke with Jennifer again who then transferred him to speak with someone in service who claimed to have called me twice to notify me that there were no shuttles available. I never received any calls whatsoever!! My boyfriend had to leave work all the way from Strongsville to be able to pick me up and bring me to pick me car up before they closed for the day. By the time we were able to make it there it was near closing and everyone in the service dept had left already. I was handed my receipt and my keys with still no explanation of what was found with my car being looked at. When I asked for an explanation the young counter girl was looking around for someone in service for me to speak with and said that they all had left already. An employee that was sitting on the couch behind me thought he was funny, laughed at me and made a comment that I was "too late". I was not there late because I wanted to be, I was there late because I received horrible service!! The counter girl was finally able to put me into contact with Rachel as she was walking out the door. Rachel was able to go over things with me in the end and suggest the next steps with getting my car serviced further. I was nearly unable to get my car before closing which would have made me unable to go to work the next day because of poor communication and inadequate service. Rachel placed a call to service Manager, Freddy, and advised him of the situation that had taken place with me as he also had already left for the day. He said he would give me a call the next day between 8-8:10am to discuss my concerns. I again never received a single phone call from anyone at Montrose Kia. I have never purchased a vehicle from Montrose Kia due to bad reviews. I only took my car there for service because it was the closest dealership to me, my mistake. BUT, our transmission (CVT) went out at less than 100,000 miles. And to add insult to injury, just had an oil change the week before and had a transmission service (fluid change) last year. At that service visit, they saw no issues or brought any possible concerns to our attention. Our Murano was a peach too! No dents. No dings. No rust. Hand waxed it twice a year, only did touchless carwashes. People always thought it looked much newer than a 2015. Garage kept with regular 5,000 mile oil-changes. Drove less than 9,000 miles per year and 75% of those miles were highway miles. Just so sad the transmission blew. Back in 2015 it was the most expensive new vehicle we ever purchased and last month we sold it for scrap value. Still upset about it. And to put salt in the wound, the Trade-in value was about $4 - $5 thousand if running, - and a little more, $7 - $8 thousand if sold by owner. The trouble is, the Service Dept. quoted us just under $12,000 for a new transmission with installation. So we decided to just bite the bullet and let it go. Scrap it. Just wouldn't make much sense to spend more than double the trade-in value for an 11 year old car (worth half that when running). No issues with this dealer, but we will NEVER own another Nissan product. After talking to some mechanic friends and reading some of the Nissan forums, it turns out that Nissan has had lots and lots of transmission issues on this and other models. They (Nissan) knew full well it was an undersized trans' in a car the size and weight of the Murano; yet THEY KEPT USING IT ??? That's just in-excusable. To be honest, my wife and I both miss the Murano, a lot. We loved the vehicle. But alas, we won't miss Nissan nor the Infiniti brand for very much longer. Unless they start to build some truly reliable vehicles, customers will look AND BUY from other manufactures and Nissan will go the way of Dodo Bird, Saturn, Scion, Plymouth, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, etc., etc., etc. From automotive articles we've read and on-line auto news, it's clear Nissan is already on the ropes, so it's only a matter of time before they get knocked out of the ring. Our advice is stay away from Nissan. It won't end well.
