I had the privilege of working with Mark Brelo, professional sales associate at the North Olmsted…read morestore. Mark showed me many different cars, brought cars from a satellite new car parking area, and I didn't buy a car due to my indecisiveness. Mark couldn't have been more polite, more knowledgeable about his product, and he is dedicated to satisfying his customer. A good man indeed and a credit to the dealership!

I was informed the sunroof was out of warranty, which I understood. The next day, I received an estimate for the sunroof repair along with a second diagnostic fee to investigate the water leak. I questioned why I was being charged two diagnostic fees when the vehicle was brought in for both concerns. After finally speaking with someone, they agreed to remove the second fee. Getting anyone on the phone was another issue entirely. For THREE DAYS, I repeatedly called the service department, the direct number I was given, and the dealership's main number without an answer or callback. I approved the sunroof motor replacement and was told it would be completed within 3-4 business days. 9/16/26: I took an Uber to the dealership after being notified my vehicle was ready. The sunroof worked, but when I inspected the vehicle, I discovered GREASE ALL OVER THE HEADLINER. There were grease marks at multiple points where the headliner had apparently been lowered and handled during the repair. My vehicle, including the headliner, was spotless when I dropped it off. I immediately notified the service representative. She seemed genuinely concerned and told me she would contact the service manager, Clint, immediately and that I would receive a call later that day about correcting the issue. No one called. 9/17/26: Still no callback. I called asking for Clint and was told he was in a meeting. Later that day, a customer satisfaction representative actually called asking if I would give the dealership a perfect review. I laughed and asked if he was aware of what had happened with my vehicle. He was not. I explained the situation again and was promised someone would contact me. That evening, I received another text asking for feedback. I explained everything AGAIN--now to a fourth person. I was told the issue was being escalated to management and directly to Clint, and that I would receive a call the following day. 9/18/26: No call. No resolution. 9/21/26: I called again attempting to reach Clint. Once again, I could not reach him or even speak directly with anyone in the service department. At that point, I drove to the dealership personally. Unsurprisingly, Clint was not there. The employees in the service department seemed shocked that nearly a week had passed without anyone--including their service manager--contacting me about the condition in which my vehicle was returned. I ultimately left the vehicle with the service department and told them to call me when my vehicle was CLEAN and returned to the condition it was in when I originally dropped it off. Mistakes happen. Grease getting on the headliner during a repair could have been corrected quickly. What turned this into one of the worst dealership experiences I've had was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through afterward. I should not have to repeatedly call, explain the same situation to multiple employees, wait days for promised callbacks, and ultimately drive back to the dealership in person just to get someone to address a problem that occurred while my vehicle was in their care.

WARNING!! I contacted the dealership ahead of time to confirm a specific vehicle listed on their…read morewebsite. They verified the VIN and knew I was driving 30-40 minutes to see it. When I arrived, they were waiting for me outside and took me straight back. I again stated I was there for that exact vehicle. After 20 min of collecting my information, THEN they told me the vehicle just sold. I don't believe that was truthful. Another Kia dealership had already checked the same VIN earlier that day and told me it was not available. That means this dealership knew it wasn't available before I even began traveling there. Even if there was an honest mix up, they could have told me as soon as I got there instead of collecting my information and wasting more time. This is not how you treat customers, and I won't be returning. My interactions were with Chris (sales consultant) and Bill (sales manager). It felt like the vehicle was kept online simply to get people in the door. Fortunately, I found a vehicle at another Kia dealership later that day.

I recently had an appt at Montrose Kia set for July 30th at 1:30pm. I worked with Robert S. (Bob)…read moreto check in and explain what was wrong with the car. Bob was very nice in confirming he understood what I was explaining to him & offered a shuttle service if I didn't want to wait because service would take about an hour and a half & the building was under construction. He confirmed that the shuttle would also be able to pick me back up to come get my car when it was finished & that I'd receive a call. I was initially shuttled home by a service employee, Jeremy, who also confirmed I should get a call with an update on my car and they'd send the shuttle back to pick me up. Three hours later, at 4pm I got an automated text from Kia saying my car service was completed and that Kia looks forward to working with me again. I was still waiting on a phone call update on what happened with my car and confirmation that a shuttle was being sent out to pick me up. After waiting to hear something for an hour after receiving that text I finally called Kia asking where the shuttle was and spoke with Jennifer. Jennifer was kinda & said she would send a driver right away, as if it was unbeknownst to them that I even needed to be shuttled back there or was waiting for an update. I waited outside my house for 40 more minutes and no shuttle ever showed up & I received no calls. I only live 5 minutes away. My boyfriend who was at work at the time frustratedly called Kia on my behalf and spoke with Jennifer again who then transferred him to speak with someone in service who claimed to have called me twice to notify me that there were no shuttles available. I never received any calls whatsoever!! My boyfriend had to leave work all the way from Strongsville to be able to pick me up and bring me to pick me car up before they closed for the day. By the time we were able to make it there it was near closing and everyone in the service dept had left already. I was handed my receipt and my keys with still no explanation of what was found with my car being looked at. When I asked for an explanation the young counter girl was looking around for someone in service for me to speak with and said that they all had left already. An employee that was sitting on the couch behind me thought he was funny, laughed at me and made a comment that I was "too late". I was not there late because I wanted to be, I was there late because I received horrible service!! The counter girl was finally able to put me into contact with Rachel as she was walking out the door. Rachel was able to go over things with me in the end and suggest the next steps with getting my car serviced further. I was nearly unable to get my car before closing which would have made me unable to go to work the next day because of poor communication and inadequate service. Rachel placed a call to service Manager, Freddy, and advised him of the situation that had taken place with me as he also had already left for the day. He said he would give me a call the next day between 8-8:10am to discuss my concerns. I again never received a single phone call from anyone at Montrose Kia. I have never purchased a vehicle from Montrose Kia due to bad reviews. I only took my car there for service because it was the closest dealership to me, my mistake. In conclusion, take your car there if you want the world's worst service!
