Great staff and personal service; I was in and out in 10 minutes and this was on a weekend when the kids were off from school and I expected a big crowd. They also have a great assortment of high end clothes and gear. I picked up some great socks and a thermal long sleeve shirt. Clothing-wise, they are stocked but they are priced retail so you're going to spend a bit on the clothing items. Not a huge selection on boards and skiis. You'd be better suited getting that beforehand, but if you need to rent some gear and pick up goggles, clothes, or other peripherals then this is your spot!

I stopped in, December 2023, with a project in mind. You see, I have a great belt. Leather with a sturdy brass buckle and brass grommets all around; instead of a few holes. Unfortunately, it was starting to tear and wearing it became difficult and less frequent. I decided that Limmer may be able to help. The small staff gathered around, looked at it. Felt the material, quality. And threw out some ideas. At the time, I was hesitant and told them I'd think about it. Fast forward to June 2026. I went back to Limmer, and spoke with a guy named James. Laid back, positive and very into his craft. I remarked to him that if I worked at this cave of creativity, I'd be a very happy person. He took the belt, came up with some ideas and said he'd try his best. James called me about a month later reassuring me that he didn't forget about me, or my belt. I got a follow up call Mid-August with the sad news that the belt was too far gone to bring it back 100% He put a couple of stitches in the leather, that would hold for a while. James actually sounded disappointed, that he couldn't do more to fix my belt. He mailed it back to me, free of charge and didn't charge me for the work, and more importantly, his time. In today's world, you really don't find that kind of genuine care, compassion, and all around good karma. Next time I'm in NH, I'll have to stop by and say hello. Maybe even buy some boots. They…read morecarried me up a lot of 4,000-footers in the White Mountains, taller ones in Colorado, and Mt Fuji on a business trip to Japan. They were the most comfortable boots I've had bar none. I had them resoled, I was careful to grease them, and miss them terribly. Alas, they were stolen one day. Part of me hopes the thief got blisters or tore a ligament. Part of me hopes they are wearing them in good health. I just bought the Hikers and am in love with Limmer again. The service they provided, as we got the fit right, was outstanding. Chris, out of Ft Collins, was exceedingly patient and insightful. Yes, I cannot recommend the Hikers enough; they are super comfortable, have great traction, and are gorgeous to look at. Thank you, Limmer. Be prepared for my order a second set of Lightweights as long as I can get an airtag to attach. You all deserve the reputation as being the finest boots out there.

The tie selection really stands out here as I was able to find some really unique ties with designs that I have never seen before. I was able to find four ties that I liked and purchased. The staff here was very helpful and was available to assist and also there when I was ready to checkout. This store was clean, organized, and well run and I had a really good shopping experience here.

Scott's great! ----- Longer Review We traveled to South Tamworth, New Hampshire, by way of Boston, MA and then North Conway, NH, for the wedding of our niece to her husband. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family, fun, and some exploring. On Saturday morning, while our son did homework in the room, while my wonderful wife was exercising, our daughter and I explored North Conway, NH. While walking around we saw some shirts in the window and went into Noco Loco. By time we walked out we had found some awesome t-shirts and long-sleeve t-shirts for everyone - with something related to a moose on each one (continuing our collection that started in Yellowstone and Michigan's Upper Peninsula)! Our daughter found a hoodie sweatshirt and some sweatpants that she really likes. They also have magnets and other things celebrating the north woods of New Hampshire. Scott was a great help, who also informed us that, to preserve the colors in the clothes, we need to wash them a) inside-out, b) in cold water, and c) don't put them in the dryer.
