After 5 hours, I had to call again, wait on hold and be treated like an impatient child. When I indicated I wanted to do a followup visit, a local friend recommended Dr. Boerner. From the beginning, the treatment and care provided was vastly different! His office staff is very pleasant and went above and beyond to accommodate my crazy work travel schedule. When I arrived, I was met and greeted by everyone, even when they were just walking through the office! Dr. Boerner was kind and listened very intently to my concerns. We chatted bout my lifestyle, interests and what I wanted the outcome to be. He was realistic, frank and compassionate at the same time.The comfort level I felt was unexpected and beyond positive--it was like we were in my living room, not some cold, sterile medical environment! Shortly after that news, I had a serious medical emergency with one of my kids. Yes, I forgot about this bill, that's on me. The bill went to collections and I paid the bill in full the beginning of February. I just tried scheduling my annual skin check and was informed that I was "dismissed" from the practice as a result of the collections action. 14 years with them. And they booted me over $120 because it was a little late. They clearly don't care about their patients. They care about their $$$$.

When I got there they did all the X-rays, poked the gum, and then the resulting dentist came in and looked at my mouth for less than 10 seconds. He declared that we should remove the tooth, and then declared I had 3 cavities as well. They did not tell me to do a salt wash and see if the gum irritation cleared up, nor did they say to take any medication. In my shock, I scheduled a follow up to remove the tooth and fill in my new cavities. Then I got home and did some research. I did a salt wash for two days and the swollen gum went down to normal. Then I booked a secondary opinion appt at another dentist. Once again did the whole X-ray and other checks. Not a single cavity, nor did they think the tooth should be removed. Horizon is unprofessional and took advantage of an urgent situation. I cancelled all appts and moved onto another dentist. I highly recommend you consider before moving forward on anything with them.

The atmosphere is very nice as well. The salon stations aren't too close together, which I appreciate. Erin's space is in the basement, which is nicely quiet on Sundays. I recently got back into golf following my retirement last year and playing golf very infrequently. My clubs were at least 12 years old with steel shafts and I had an even older putter. I am now in my mid 60s and I read that Graphite shafts and new technology could possibly help my game (at the very least, make golfing more enjoyable as my swing speed declines etc.). I went to the PGA Superstore and was fortunate enough to have an appointment with club fitter Max Archibald. I can't tell you enough how patient, knowledgeable and helpful Max was. I thought I wanted certain clubs based on my research, but after working with Max, we determined that I did not need the expensive clubs I was willing to purchase. He could have tried to upsell me, but instead, Max put me in the best clubs for me, and at a lower price. When I went in a couple of weeks later looking for a new putter. Max remembered me and took the time (without my making an appointment) to help me choose the best putter for me. Because of Max, I joined the Players Plus Club there. I would also like to thank Sam Sutherland who helped me pick out a driver and Adam who works up front and is always friendly and willing to help. They have a great crew working there, and I would recommend, that if you are looking for new golf clubs or golf equipment, that you should visit the PGA Superstore in Boise.
