Bassett Tree Service removed a great big Ficus tree in my yard and they did an excellent job!

There was a bad wind storm here in early February that ripped out my beautiful 20 year old ficus by the roots and into my pool. That tree was about 40 feet tall and very full. I called Joe pretty much right after it happened and he answered the phone right away. He was so nice and kind. He told me he could come out to give me a quote the same afternoon and did so. He explained everything in detail and I hired him on the spot. His crew came out a few days later and did a fabulous job. They were very professional and friendly and worked diligently. Joe had mentioned that another tree could be planted in the same spot and showed me photos. It is a beautiful red push pistache and it will soon grow to fill the bare spot to provide privacy as my old tree did. I also had a stump ground and and the crew planted a total of two trees that will beautify my yard! Joe is an arborist which was a god send to me. I wanted an expert and that he was! I'm looking forward to Joe and his crew performing more tree work for me because they do it right. It's hard to get quality expert service like this. Crew arrived on time-4 guys who really knew what they were doing. They took down a 30-0 tree-chipped all the limbs-ground the stump-all in about 1-1/2 hours. The tree was there for about 20 years and was becoming a threat to my AC unit & my roof. Any big storm could have caused expensive damage. so the owner came over in the window he gave me.he gave me a price to remove these lead trees.and the time I did not have the money to remove them. so I had to wait like 3 months.so I called and left three messages to please call me back.then I was like I give call him one more time.he finally answered and he said he was very busy I get that.but a 5 minutes call back goes a long ways.so then he sets up a time to come back out to look at the trees again.he was a no call no show.I would not recommend him.his customer service skills need some work. read more

When I asked for a few quotes on Yelp. Joseph was very fast and quickly returned my message. His quote being the cheapest one out of all 4 quotes that I have (highest one is about 2500$) for removing 3 medium Chinese Elms and 1 palm tree. After agreed on a price, he said that he would check his schedule and let me know later. Few days passed by, when I thought Joseph forgot about my quote, he then messaged and scheduled me on Wednesday. He sent out a team of 5 people very early morning and they quickly chopped off all the trees down within an hour, they spent the next hour or two to clean up afterward. My three Chinese Elms are only 3-10 inches away from the side of my neighbor and mine roofs, which made me feel really nervous that something could go wrong. The team took a good care of cutting down the trees, even cleaned my neighbor and roofs afterward. Joseph stopped by the next day to check on the job and collected payment. I am very pleased and I would choose Bassett Tree Service again. read more
