Been here numerous times and never had a bad meal. I always get chicken parm. Decided to order takeout and gave specific notes about no onions in the salads (allergy), extra dressing. My pasta was cold, the chicken was very tough to cut and the texture gave me the ick to the point I threw it out. Not the same as what they serve when in house. My husband's lasagna was tepid and both salads had a lot of onions so we couldn't eat them. Looked forward to their normally fluffy and delicious bread sticks, unwrapped them and they looked old, uncooked, someone sat on them - not sure. Also terrible and did not eat them. I rarely write reviews but this was really bad for a restaurant that is usually very good.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner with my nieces, but unfortunately this experience was disappointing. Our server lacked adequate knowledge about food allergies particularly gluten. She asked my niece if she wanted her gluten-free crabcake fried, without confirming whether the fryer was dedicated or shared-an important detail for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance as cross contamination and a shared fryer or opposes serious health risks. Also, the cocktail menu was underwhelming, offering mostly overly sweet fruity options with little variety or balance.

The drinks was very good. Lamb chop medium made really well. Tender and juicy. Service was fast. Staff was really welcoming. I would definitely come back again.

Excellent crabcakes. Chicken Parmesan is amazing and you get a generous portion. Eggplant Parmesan is great toI love the Risotto Milanese; jumbo shrimp, scallops, and lump crab in a tasty sauce. Seafood pasta is also good. Meals come with Italian salad and bread, both are delicious. Desserts are good also, excellent cheese cake and tiramisu!

Happened upon this hidden gem when looking for a place for a quick lunch while working. I'm so glad I stopped in. I had the best Alfredo I've had in yearssssss. They shrimp and chicken were cooked perfectly and a nice complement to the recommended capellini. The bartender was so friendly and efficient. I'd take this place any day over Olive Garden. Absolutely no comparison. If I get another client in this area, I will be back.

Wonderful anniversary dinner with OUTSTANDING service and TASTY food. An abundance of chicken parmigiana and short rib that melts in your mouth, fresh baked bread, and a lovely made-in-house NY Cheesecake as an anniversary gift. Highly recommend!

Great happy hour offering and prices. Suggest getting there early as there are only about 10-12 seats at the bar.

There were 5 of us, we had the cheese curds (always delicious), tried the crab nachos (surprisingly good) as apps. Ordered the crab soup. I was expecting more of a cream crab soup but that was my fault as it wasn't listed as such and it's a reddish sauce kind of a minestrone with the veggies in it. We ordered shrimp and grits, I was told it was good with a little spice. Two of us ordered the salmon with crab/corn risotto (delicious). Mac and cheese ordered from apps menu, but as meal and the last meal was a pasta chicken dish. Great experience again!

The deviled eggs were deep-fried with a little jalapeño on top--absolutely excellent! The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had a fantastic flavor with just the right amount of heat. We then split a burger and fries. The burger was a little overdone for my liking, but it still had an amazing flavor. The fries were decent and paired well with the burger. We also each had a cocktail--the Peach Mule and the Key Lime Pie cocktail. Both were refreshing, well-balanced, and a great addition to the meal. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience and would definitely come back!

Since the closing of Volt, and even The Ordinary Hen (Both being Voltaggio restaurants like this one), Frederick has been in desperate need of a upper-market restaurant. So, Enter... Wye Oak Tavern. You can't beat the interior decor and ambiance. I mean, you just can't. It's elegant, modern, and each section of the restaurant offers a different atmosphere for your choosing - darker and gothic, or, in the back, brighter and more modern. The service was fantastic, as you would expect. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, and they didn't make any fuss when I asked to change tables. The food overall was very good. - Beef Fat Fries: Very very good - The Steak Tartare was also good. I think it needed a bit more flavor - maybe more mustard or capers. - Caesar's Salad was so good, and those sesame churros were fantastic. - Oysters were good. - Ribeye steak was good. For what you're paying I expected something closer to a steakhouse quality cut and cook, but it was still good. And I liked the Yorkshire pudding. - Gnocchi, Asparagus, and Creamed Spinach were all good. - Rockfish was smaller than I thought it would be, but also good - The Prime Rib was also very good. I think it could have been helped by a little more flavorful au jus on the side. We really appreciated the Laguiole steak knives they gave us. They're not like those terrible dull bulky knives you get from even high-end steak houses. Overall a very pleasant dinner. Not sure it's worth the price tag, but there aren't a lot of options nearby for nicer restaurants - besides the Tasting Room.

We arrived around midnight Our ID's were checked at the front and were told that last call was at 12:15am despite the bar closing at 1am. It was extremely humid and hot (like even more humid and hot than the outside at that time). All of the tables/booths were closed off, so only bar seating was available. There was only 1 bartender and 1 barkeeper, with the bartender being clearly overwhelmed. He stated that he couldn't make any complicated drinks (likely implying the specialty cocktails), so we just ordered simple classic cocktails including an old fashioned and gin & tonic. I was surprised that last call occurred 45 minutes prior to closing, seeming to apply to both food and drinks (given the bartender's comment). Despite this, I was surprised we were even let in if last call was about to occur. Didn't spend much time here but please see the attached for menu photos.

This is a great place to meet up with a small group of friends to catch-up. We shared the deviled eggs and grilled cheese. Only complaint is that they won't divide the bill - like at all. The best they'd do is divide it evenly. I mean, if Perkins can do it, this place (with a premium on food and drink) can definitely do it. ‍ Still - I'll be back. Gotta work my way through that drink menu!

This was our first time here, as on prior occasions we found the line too daunting. We were surprised when another 4:15pm patron was led to their reserved table, but we learned that their planning and caution was well-founded. We discovered the popularity of Bolder to be well-deserved. Seeking lite fare for an early dinner, calorie conscious, we both navigated the tempation-filled menu with success. We thoroughly enjoyed the bison burger and turkey club, the latter being sufficiently sample for a split lunch the next day too. Service was rock-solid and very efficient. We definitely hope to be back soon. And we will make a reservation. Dress code is casual.

Our overall experience harkened back to some of the best episodes of the last season of "The Bear" we recently was on TV - many employees working feverishly to overcome all sorts of challenges to keep the multitudes of patrons sublimely sated with quality Italian cuisine. Some of the parallels were uncanny! To the restaurant's credit, this promotion was well-marketed and reflected in the full house of patrons with a jammed lobby that spilled outdoors with people waiting for tables. To the restaurant's further credit, there were many servers working feverishly hard to keep pace with the onslaught. They had prepared, in other words. Kudos to the charming hostess, who somehow kept dozens of balls juggling in mid-air. The anniversary menu itself was simple (down-home traditional Italian fare), possibly both reflective of the 1988 era and the move-them-in, move-them-out necessary philosophy of the evening. Our mussels appetizer was delicious but arrived late (with a profuse apology) reflective of the onslaught. We understood. Our main courses (Italian chicken dishes) were fine and well-prepared if a bit watery, again reflective of 1988 and of the busy kitchen. Again, we understood. Pricewise, with the promotion, we saved about $11 or $12 a person off what an equivalent order would have been in 2026, so our bill reflected. It WAS a cool promotion and Liberatore's deserves our business (and yours) more often even absent special promotions like this. Hopefully this creative idea inspires this on the part of it's many past customers.
