It's been a bit so this is an update. Came here for dinner about a week ago. I love this place, it's cozy and like a little hidden gem. Food is always great, as is the service. There were 5 of us, we had the cheese curds (always delicious), tried the crab nachos (surprisingly good) as apps. Ordered the crab soup. I was expecting more of a cream crab soup but that was my fault as it wasn't listed as such and it's a reddish sauce kind of a minestrone with the veggies in it. We ordered shrimp and grits, I was told it was good with a little spice. Two of us ordered the salmon with crab/corn risotto (delicious). Mac and cheese ordered from apps menu, but as meal and the last meal was a pasta chicken dish. Great experience again! read more

This was a beautiful restaurant and bar with a great open-kitchen concept! We started by splitting an order of deviled eggs and honey habanero wings, and both were delicious. The deviled eggs were deep-fried with a little jalapeño on top--absolutely excellent! The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had a fantastic flavor with just the right amount of heat. We then split a burger and fries. The burger was a little overdone for my liking, but it still had an amazing flavor. The fries were decent and paired well with the burger. We also each had a cocktail--the Peach Mule and the Key Lime Pie cocktail. Both were refreshing, well-balanced, and a great addition to the meal. Surprisingly pleased with my Walker's experience! I met with a former student. Since I got there a little early, I ordered a small pizza as an appetizer. The waiter didn't quite know what I meant, but did get the request to slice it in smaller rectangles rather than triangle slices. It was light and tasty. However, I'm pretty sure I'd be very hungry if I had ordered it as my meal. That was followed by the beer can chicken cobb salad. It was just the right size! We sat outside. Since Walker's is at the end of the strip, they have outdoor seating on the sidewalk. No fault of the establishment, when the sun went down, it got cold quickly! Now, I'm inclined to try the other Table and Tap restaurant a couple miles west. read more

Welp, if a great restaurant w great company was a Yelp Review. This establishment was easy to locate, nestled within Inwood Village Shopping Center. Free parking lot parking. Hubby and I met friends here for double date night. We were greeted by a kind hostess who quoted a 30-35 minute wait. They do not accept reservations. We were seated within 15 minutes and greeted by Jackson. This restaurant was spacious, clean, and had a semi woodsy décor. Collectively, we ordered the following. Winter Daiquiri Walter's Old Fashioned Shots (Titos, Crown Royal, Lemon Drop, Green Tea) Sparkling Cosmo Black Manhattan Smoked Wings (Buffalo) Pan Seared Salmon Fish & Chips Cajun Crab Cake Sandwich The beverages did what they were ordered to do. They gave hefty pours and we appreciated it. The Smoked Buffalo Wings were pretty yum. Great portion size. Tasty. Pan Seared Salmon was perfectly prepared to my liking, I substituted the risotto for fries to avoid the dairy. It was pretty good. I would order again. Well plated w zucchini under salmon. The fish and chips were the hit at the table. The breading had an amazing flavor, and the fish was prepared well. The Cajun Crab Sandwich was a hit w my hubby. He devoured his food quickly stating he would get it again. It was well plated, flavorful, and fulfilling. We received 10/10 service by Jackson who was attentive to our requests. The decor is clean and modern, while also feeling kind of homey/welcoming. The staff is plentiful and kind, so there was no shortage of support. As far as seating options go, they have a nice outdoor seating area as well as a beautiful indoor area with tables and booths. There's definitely no shortage of options to pick from here as far as "what do you want to eat" and "where do you want to eat it". The food options are primarily American cuisine dishes - think pizzas, sandwiches, and entrees. Everything was tasty. The fried foods were crispy and well seasoned without feeling too oily. The cajun crab pizza was my entree of choice and it was very tasty. They weren't skimping out on the crab, which is always a positive thing. And the other toppings complemented the dish well. conclusion: solid dining spot if you're in the area, but I have had experiences where they book out quick, so plan accordingly if you're trying to get seating! read more

Definitely making a return visit. From the bartender to the food and overall experience it is worth a trip back. The place itself is very huge. Plenty of dining space. Plenty a bar area to come in and enjoy a game with friends or even solo. The drinks no complaints there. What really brought me here was the sloppy Joe eggrolls. That's right sloppy Joe eggrolls. All I can say was they were different. They weren't bad. They weren't good. They were just different. The Walker burger lives up to the hype for sure. Everything was good, no complaints. Overall: American food, nice beer list with the option to build your own flight, good service, casual ambiance, indoor and outdoor seating, no reservations, gendered single-stall restrooms, baby changing table and high chairs available I've been here a handful of times. I love their beer list and that you can build your own flight. I've never had anything here that was mind-blowing or that I'd be excited to return for. Everything is fine and I haven't had anything bad. The fried fish in the fish and chips is the best thing I've had there. We popped in on Mum's Day and without reservations, got great seats, great service and banging food.

Came for lunch with my co workers on this particular day. I have been a few times and the food has always been good. It wasn't very crowded around 12:00 when we arrived. We were quickly seated and the waitress brought out some waters. They only have unsweetened tea so I decided on a lemonade as my beverage. We had to go back to work afterwards so no time for adult beverages. One of my co workers ordered an appetizer of the cheese curds. The cheese curds were great. They came out crispy on the outside with a melted interior. I recommend eating them while they are hot. I had one after they cooled off and it wasn't the same. It came with a garlic aioli dipping sauce that compliments them nicely. For my main I tried out the General Tso's chicken sandwich. It was just like you would think, a breaded chicken breast covered in a sweet general tsp sauce on a bun. It was good but very messy. I doubt I would order it again. The service was fast and friendly. I will come back again. One of my co workers ordered a tavern pizza that looks delicious and I have to try it. read more

We've only been to Walker's twice and have loved it each time! This round was with a couple friends for lunch. The vibe is cozy and the staff are always friendly. We started with the Crab Rangoon Nachos which were a delightful flavorful surprise! Served in a small mound, it's an easy split for 2 but enough for 4 to get some nice sampling in. I'm a huge fan of shrimp and grits and their version is a hearty version with crab and andouille gumbo gravy. Ample shrimps. But it's topped with the daily veggie which were 6 asparagus. Probably should've enjoyed the greens but I'm not an asparagus fan. The other dishes - BLT, meatloaf stroganoff, and burger were equally delish. We arrived on a Thursday and opted to sit outside even though there was live music in the dining room. A hostess seated us right away, and our server came by quickly with water for all. He was very friendly and offered to answer any questions we might have about the menu. We ordered drinks while we decided on our meals, and they were delivered promptly. Looked up this restaurant while out of town for work. Walkers Tap & Table has a great environment. There are tables and booths + a bar area to watch sports. The spacing between the seating areas was comfortable. Let's talk about the service. The server was very polite and offered some menu recommendations. He was honest about having not tried a number of the items, however he did share customer favorites. I especially enjoyed my Beer Can Cobb salad. The mixture of ingredients with the tomato ranch dressing was very tasty. I especially enjoyed dessert. The Apple Cheesecake Cannolis was hands down a great overall dessert that was full of flavor and texture. I highly recommend checking out Walker's Tap & Table whenever you are nearby. read more

We come for the Crab Rangoon Nachos- yes, you heard that right... and they are fabulous. I crave them often. They have real, juicy lumps of crab. I want them now. The lasagna pizza was okay and the Autumn Pork Belly was dry- wouldn't get it again. The s'mores a la mode was fabulous with toasted marshmallow cream off to the side so you could perfectly portion your layered bites of heavenly bliss. We've also had the sandwiches in the past, which are solid. Service was a bit slow- took forever to get any drinks. Food started coming out before the drinks. Went on a Saturday evening with my wife and two boys (8&4.) waited about 10 minutes for first available table; was outdoors (not a bad wait.) Kinda chilly, but plenty of patio heaters so we were fine. Road noise detracted from experience a little. The good: THE FOOD. We all started with the fried cheese curds; very good and nice way to whet the appetite. Boys had the pizza & burgers from the kids menu; they enjoyed. I did think the pizza crust was a little limp; could have used a little most crisp on the bottom. Burger was solid. My wife had the fish & chips, while I went for Fried ravioli. Chipotle sauce on my pasta was flavorful, not too spicy. Fish and chips were PERFECTLY fried. Would definitely recommend. The "not so good": we were seated at 5:30. It was over ten minutes before anyone noticed us; a server (not ours) checked in and apologized for the wait. She got us water and silverware and promised to find our server. (She was super nice and the attention was appreciated!!) Eventually the server did come and take our orders (probably about 20 minutes after being seated.) Food came in a timely manner, and our server was pleasant enough. We did feel like he was a bit busy/forgetful. At one point I ordered another beer that took 10-15 minutes to arrive (we were seated 5 feet from the bar door) and my wife's drink that she ordered at the same time never came. When it was time for our check, I was given someone else's that was obviously not right; it was all alcoholic drinks and the price was over double our actual bill. All in all, we will definitely give it another chance. Food was solid, wait for a table wasn't bad. Hope service next time will be more attentive. (Everyone has an off night.) Food options are varied and tasty. I had the root beer BBQ wings in the recommendation of our server recently and they were sweet with a little heat. They were well cooked. Highly recommend them. I also had a burger which was delicious and big. Cooked exactly as I ordered and had house made pickles that were great. We had the nicest server ( Jason) he was so friendly and fast!! The food was great, we had Brussels and a pork appetizer ( diets suck but this food didn't). My daughter had chicken tenders with asparagus and she loves it too!! Beverage: -Lemonade: Good as it was on the sweet side, which I like and prefer. Ambiance: -Very cool decor. They have sliding doors that have fake books on them that lead to private rooms. There is also patio seating and fire pits, which is nice in the fall on chilly nights. Service: -Our server was awesome and checked frequently to see if we needed anything and she also replaced our beverages without being asked. -Only thing that could be improved is the speed of bringing out our order. My cheese curds came out fairly quickly, but the rest of our lunch came out much later. My friend had to go home to run a quick errand and when she came back they still hadn't come out. She noted that people who came in after us were served first so she thought our server forgot about putting in our order. She said that she was waiting on my friend's chicken sandwich. We arrived on a Sunday at 1:30pm on a beautiful day. Weather was warm. Location was staffed by young concierge at the front. People waiting with tables open. And when I say tables open, 16 tables open and backroom available. Staff/servers wandering aimlessly. The concierge told us the wait was 5-10 minutes. Offered no other options. 20 minutes wait. Then another couple came in and she offered the bar and tables around the bar. When we were finally seated, we were seated at an open table 3 steps from where we were waiting for 20 minutes. The location is in the corner of a strip mall, the restaurant looks nice, good size bar with plenty of seating. An industrial feel with wood accents. Outside seating available on the front patio/sidewalk. After being seated, our waiter was able to greet us within 90 seconds with water at the table. Asked us if we wanted drinks. I asked for a beer on the list, although was told it was kicked with no other suggestions. Frustrated people waiting was a theme it seemed. We both ordered the Beer can Cobb salad. We were told this should be up shortly. Within, 10 minutes our food came out. The salads and chicken were delicious. I would definitely order this again. The fried onions along with the chopped eggs were delicious. Huge portioned salad. The challenge is surrounding coming back knowing about the concierge, seating situation and staff. Definitely can see how this place could and should thrive. We always ask would we come back, in this case if we lived nearby, we both agree we would get takeout, and probably skip eating in until we see or hear people had a better experience. read more
