Such a cute and dainty spot for you and the family. It was a bit expensive for a small group of 4 adults and 2 young teenagers. We each ordered 1 entree, 1 drink and we got 2 appetizers for the table and 2 alcoholic beverages and the bill was over $300. That's a lot for a place that's not super upscale but nonetheless the overall experience was lovely. Over waiter was very nice, he was super help in helping the teenagers too. The drinks were made really well too. Not too heavy but also not watered down . This place is great for brunch. I was actually surprised that they were packed but I'm not complaining. Will definitely be trying again for their dinner menu.

Today was spa day and wanted a good lunch afterwards. So we stopped here for a late lunch. We were seated in the dining area. They also offer High top seating as well at the bar. I ordered the raspberry lemonade. I thought that was pretty high for a lemonade. Would have been nice if it included fresh raspberries. It didn't it was only a flavor for $6.00 wowww but ok. I also ordered the blackened Mahi fish sandwich. It was delicious!! Also ordered the eggplant parmesan to go. It was good as well. Also ordered the crab & artichoke dip with pretzels. The dip was just ok. Not what I expected. No artichokes and practically no crabmeat. I felt like it didn't have enough crabmeat. It also had onions in it which I'm good with because I love onions. Just FYI. If you're not a onion lover. I wouldn't order that again. Not my idea of a crab dip. Wait staff was nice. We actually had two people waiting on us. The bartender and our waiter. The ambiance is nice. My gf ordered the Short Rib Grilled cheese. That looked delicious. I probably would order that on my next visit. Overall I would rate this 3 stars for this visit but would definitely return to check out the extended menu. I hear the drinks are good but didn't get a chance to try anything. Would love to try that out on my next visit.

Located in a strip/outdoor area and had outdoor seating, as well as bar area and dining room space. Nice decor and cute details that add to the atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. Only ordered drinks. Came there because saw a drink on the menu online that wasn't on the actual menu when we got there. The very accommodating bartender still made it for me. Got the Broken Shaker, No Border, and the Espresso Old Fashioned. Would highly recommend the Espresso Old Fashion. The other two were meh. They do have lots of seasonal options and a great menu to pick from. Didn't order food. Nothing on the menu stood out as a must try. Overall, very nice space and great Service.

We came here on weekday for a small celebration. I was surprised by their quality of food and service. Our sever was very attentive although we sat in the corner. Paella was surprisingly good and not salty. Pork chop was perfectly. Definitely worth to visit again.

I came for happy hour and really enjoyed myself. The service is great. It's so many good choices for happy hour. The sliders were my absolute favorite. This is a really nice spot for a date night.

Another great experience! A special "Thank you" to our waiter Logan and the staff. They can customize drinks to your liking. The bronzino skin was crispy and the meat flaky and flavorful. Sides complimented it well. The french onion soup was very good as well. The winner for the evening was the key lime pie and french press coffee.

Hey Friends, My husband was craving the OG Burger and just like that, we were in heaven!! The Brussels are new to the menu and it's an Asian fusion delight!!! I love it here! So warm, cozy, and excellent service!

All around great experience for our first visit to Mad Chef after a long work day. The rustic-industrial decor greeted us with a cozy yet modern vibe. Our server was fantastic! She had a great personality and offered friendly conversation. The food was delicious. Our party of five really enjoyed the Mexican Street Corn and Fried Calamari and Jalapeno apps. Everybody loved their meal, which included three of the burgers from the menu - the OG, the Fifty-Fifty bacon burger, and the Sloppy Mushroom Burger. The burgers were huge and the Old Bay fries got high praise from everyone. The cold couscous salad was flavorful and plentiful for a meal with added blackened chicken. A very pleasant dinner, we will return. The minus one star is only because the price point for a burger and fries was a few dollars too high.

Met some friends or lunch. I've dined here before but guess I forgot to review. I ordered the Mahi sandwich, which was disappointing. A small section was quite salty and the rest was bland, there was no flavor. The service was good, our server was great about checking up on us.

Mad Chef Kitchen & Bar delivers a brunch experience that feels more like an audition for social status than a welcoming meal. The cost was reasonable and the food is undeniably well-crafted, with flavors that deliver in dishes like the crunchy French toast and breakfast tacos, but the service is as cold as the marble countertops. There was a solid Sunday brunch crowd and the decor is like a hipsters take on the Cheesecake Factory with artist portraits of Anthony Bourdain and Bob Marley. We left feeling full and judged which is not a great way to start a Sunday morning.

What time range and on what days is happy hour?

    Mon-Fri. 5:30-7:00pm

    Do they have Saturday brunch?

I would think so! But u should call to be sure

    Any vegetarian entrees?

Not many. The grilled cheese has a bacon onion jam. There are salads and sides like cauliflower, and a ton of seafood, but nothing in the entrees that's strictly vegetarian.

Today I was taking my dad around and he wanted to stop here for a late lunch or early dinner. He had a craving for some oysters. Unfortunately they did not have any oysters in stock. We still decided to stay and dine in though. The restaurant area isn't very large. After coming in we seated ourselves. Within a few minutes a waitress came over and took our drink orders. We also ordered cups of cream of crab soup as an appetizer. For our main courses I had the 6.5 oz crab cake platter and my father went with the 4 oz crab cake platter. You get two sides included. I ordered the onion rings and mixed vegetables while my dad went with onion rings and cole slaw. The crab cakes were good. Had a good flavor and not full of filler. The cream of crab soup was also delicious. Had me craving more. Plenty of lump crab meat in it. A bowl would probably fill me up as a meal. The onion rings were nice and crispy just like I like them. Mixed vegetables were nothing special. Just steamed veggies with not seasoning. Service was fast and friendly. Everyone was so very nice and made it a comfortable visit. I will definitely be back and so happy my father wanted to stop in this day.

Unfortunately, the overall quality of the food was very disappointing. The soft-shell crabs did not appear to be fully cooked, which was particularly concerning. The macaroni salad was bland and lacked flavor. I am also unsure what type of fish was served on the platter, but it did not appear to be lake trout. The fish was heavily breaded and very dry. The coleslaw was also extremely disappointing. Several hours after consuming the food, I became nauseous and developed a headache. While I have ordered from Captain Dan's in the past and previously had a different experience, this visit was very disappointing. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Captain Dan's and would encourage the restaurant to take a closer look at the quality, preparation, and accuracy of the food being served.

Menus and drink orders were brought promptly. I chose the fish tacos, and our server - Casey - asked if I wanted the fish pan seared or blackened. We had a discussion over how many chips and salsa were served with it, because my friend wanted some with his veggie burger. We learned that the amount with an entrée is just right - about two handfuls - so we each had some, with my friend's being a substitution for fries. I almost can't find the words to describe those tacos! The fish was moist, perfectly seasoned and generously heaped in each taco. Often, tacos lean heavily on the veg elements but these had just the right amount of slaw. The flavor of the fish was so delicate and savory. Honestly, one taco was all I could manage. Although they were street taco sized, it was so filling. I only ate a handful of chips; they were good but nothing special, as was the tiny cup of salsa. My friend said his veggie burger was excellent, and he enjoyed the bit of chips and salsa as well. He just had water, while I tried a Corona NA. The bill was around $56, which is very reasonable. There's plenty of free parking in the shopping center. Great service, good prices, excellent food - I'll go back!

Monday is lobster night, and my partner is a big lobster fan. The lobster here (I'm told) was excellent and the restaurant provided the right tools to get all the lobster meat. The sides my partner got - mashed potatoes and spinach - both were good. The potatoes were "real" and the spinach very garlicky. I got the grilled fish - hake. It was well prepared and my two sides, rice and slaw, were both very good. I wouldn't say better than at other seafood restaurants, but good. We started with a bowl of Maryland crab soup, which had a nice broth (very Old Bay-y) and chunks of crab. Tasty soup. The service was good with food brought promptly and good water service. We drink a lot of water and the server came over multiple times to refill our glasses. The restaurant is very nice inside, bright with a nautical theme. The bar was very popular during happy hour and the restaurant looks popular with couples and families. One big disappointment was that we were not offered and didn't receive the complimentary muffins. (They are buttermilk cheese muffins with citrus honey butter.) I later saw on Yelp people praising the muffins and the pictures looked great. I assumed they had discontinued them because I didn't see them at any tables. I did reach out to the owner afterward by email and he told me that they still routinely offer the muffins for the table and that this must have been a "lacking in my server training steps." So, please - if you are not offered the muffins (which look fantastic and I hear from others on Yelp that they are), please ask for them. I'm going to deduct a point for the muffin issue. Honestly, I spent $100 for dinner for two with tip and feel like a person should get the full restaurant experience. I'm a big fan of specialty breads and have been to other restaurants where they put a nice basket of bread on the table. I really feel disappointed by this experience.

But the taste is what really matters and Grilled Sesame Salmon didn't disappoint. Wow!! I thought British food was supposed to be flavorless. The Salmon was both sweet and spicy with the teriyaki bang-bang glaze. The jasmine rice cakes added the perfect amount of crunch and the vegetables were as fresh as they appeared. The pub side of the restaurant feels British with ornate wooden features and sounds of laughter from all around. The bartender are knowledgeable and engaging. Most importantly they made me a proper Makers Mark Manhattan filled to the absolute top of glass to top off an outstanding dinner.

Those of you who…read moreread my reviews know I typically review either really good or really "not so good" restaurants. I'm breaking my own rules, because I feel the 3.9 rating is pretty accurate, with one 5 star + exception. This was a business lunch and a convenient location so there we were. The duck fries as an appetizer were good but needed to be seasoned with a little more salt. I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! My two compadres both had the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They both looked at me sheepishly and said, you f ed up!!! William was kind enough to break off a substantial bite and let me try it. Angels sang, children wept, and I almost passed out! It was the kind of perfection we all agreed we would have eaten 5, maybe 6 of these unnaturally awesome sandwiches until we passed out! 3.5 Star service, 4 Star ambience, and some 10 Star bites!
