Each room is uniquely decorated in period style. The room was clean and comfortable. There is restaurant dining in the tavern several nights a week and food was tasty and plentiful. They allowed me to take my plate to the room. The spa has friendly staff. I got a pedicure which was professional and has really lasted. If you forgot your hair products at home, no worries because they have them for sale.

The sand traps (dirt traps?) are showing the black netting underneath and turn into ponds for days after it rains. There are dead trees galore and those that aren't dead haven't been pruned in decades. The wooden fences are all falling down and the bridges are in such a state of disrepair as to be scary. One of the ponds is covered in scum and another gets so low that it reeks. Pond and stream banks looking a bit unkempt? Herbicide them all. Geese on the greens? Hire a buddy to shoot them. The cut grass is left in yellowing clumps. Any asphalt, concrete, downed trees, tees or busted balls just get dumped on the perimeter. Absolutely terribly maintained over the years. If anyone doubts this, I'll post pics.

I had to change the headcount twice, confirmed the reservation multiple times because of the size of the group, and they even moved us into the beer hall to accommodate everyone. Communication leading up to the event was excellent. Unfortunately, about 30 minutes before our reservation, I received a call that the kitchen had been shut down due to an emergency plumbing issue. I completely understand that emergencies happen and don't fault the restaurant for something outside of their control. We were offered the option to delay our reservation by 30-45 minutes while they waited for an update, but there was no guarantee the kitchen would reopen. After discussing it with the group, we had to scramble to find another location. I appreciate that someone called rather than having us show up and receive the news, but with a party of this size, I wish there had been more proactive communication, the GM thought she had called me but totally understood when dealing with an emergency. The reservation process itself was outstanding and talking with Jessica about options at their other location was great. Hopefully we can try the Factory if we are ever back in town.

Went to Factory last night and ordered the fiesta bowl and was highly disappointed. Over cooked rice, barely any corn or beans and the chicken was lacking in flavor. Overall the taste was pretty bland had to get extra sauce to put on it just so I could eat it. Someone else got the chicken caprese and there was one basil leaf on the entire sandwich! Chicken was dry and had no flavor. Chips were way too salty and inedible. Really disappointed, the quality continues to go down while the prices go up. At some point the "our operating costs are going up" spin will only get you so far while the overall taste and quality of the food continues to decline.

Food was good, but I had a really bad experience with the service and the manager. I went there for…read morelunch last Friday, (Jan. 9th, 2026) and ordered a wrap and a bottle of beer. I asked if I could have the Mexican salsa sauce instead of Dijon mustard on my wrap. My server behind the bar, , (who is also the manager), said no problem, but there might be a few black beans in the sauce, she made no mention of any extra charge for simply using a different sauce. When she gave my check, she had added $5.50 , just for salsa instead of Dijon mustard . When I protested, and asked her to remove the charge, she refused, and was very rude to me. I didn't use bad language, or behave in a threatening manner. A female friend of hers, who was seated at a nearby table, with two men, joined in, and they both ganged up on me. Since I was using a credit card, I had no choice but to accept the added charge. I told her that what she was doing is a practice called "Padding" a check, to beef up the bill. I asked her if this is how she was trained, and her answer was, "I didn't have to be trained, this is how I do things" . I was in the middle of gathering together my belongings, and putting on my coat, to leave, and she came around the bar to my side, and said, "Let's go, you're not leaving fast enough", (Quote) I left, as soon as I had my coat on. She also said that there was a problem, a few days earlier, when I came in for a quick beer, before catching my bus. Well, guess what that "Problem" was ? The draft beer was totally flat, and warm, and all I did was let them know, and asked for a bottled beer instead. I did what any customer would reasonably be expected to do. Before I left, she told me, "Don't come back ". This is horrendous treatment of a customer, especially coming from a manager. P.S. Jan. 15th, 2026 - I am responding to a few points in yesterday's reply from the business owner to my complaint: 1. She said I was expecting an add on for free. This is erroneous, because I didn't even think of a different sandwich sauce as an "Add-On", which it should not be. 2. Saying I added Beyond sausage to my burrito, which is an "extra charge" Again, erroneous, Beyond wrap is $13.25, and Bean Burrito is $12.95, so it's fair to say that they're both the same price. What I actually ordered was the Beyond sausage wrap, and merely requested the Burrito sauce instead of Dijon mustard. What the manager did was bill me for a Bean Burrito, $12.95, and added a "side beyond sausage", and charged me an extra $5.50 for what was supposed to just be the Burrito sauce, which is not in my opinion a legitimate "Side". 3. Saying that I should have asked if there would be an "Up Charge". It's the responsibility of the server to let the customer know, that there will be extra charge, it's not the responsibility of a customer to ask.

Also got a side of French toast. The food was the highlight of the visit. Gigantic portions, eggs were cooked perfectly the way I like it, meats were good, pancakes were a little flat but decent, potatoes were my favorite. Perfectly cooked slices and nice crispy edges, perfectly seasoned. Coffee was yummy and refilled regularly. The French toast was honestly one of the best I've ever enjoyed. Thick bread, perfectly seasoned with the spices. Syrup is served on the side with togo ramekins. Service was great, friendly and aware of our needs and got everything we needed. Ambience. Adorable and cozy local diner feel. I can see myself getting lost in a book and enjoying a quiet morning with my breakfast...mmm definitely my favorite diner in the area. I will definitely come back again. I recommend the plates a dishes ordered.

When you go to pay it asks for a 15%, 20% or a 25% tip which felt greedy. (I waitressed 10 years ago and 10% always felt more then enough.) Also, they charged me $2 for the expired jelly on the table. (My 4 children ate about 10-so I understand a lot; but it felt as if we had been charged for sugar or ketchup...) The pancakes were burnt around the edges and the pepper and the onions in the egg were huge and had to be cut before you could eat them. The peppers were also undercooked. The waitress was very cold. We asked for maple syrup for the pancakes, and she seemed upset that we asked that request. It was honestly a bad experience. I will never go back.
