If you're hungry and craving good old American food this is the place to go. I love their happy hour (5-8 pm) because that have a bunch of dishes for $5 or $8 and the portions are legit. My favorite thing is the Hong Kong pork tacos, which are the perfect combination of sweet and spicy and soft and crunchy. The $8 happy hour dish comes with 3 huge tacos so definitely a full meal! I also really enjoy the $5 mud pie, which is huge and very shareable. As far as the regular menu, you can't go wrong. Their burgers and pizzas are tasty and huge. Their draft beer list is not too shabby - they cover a bit of everything, just no "light" beers. I sat at the bar, definitely has a sports bar type of atmosphere to it. The bartender was friendly and patient with all my questions about whats good and whats not, and even let me try a few beers until I found one I liked. I was having a crazy craving for truffle fries so I ordered the truffle fries. Were they good? Sure. Were they $8.50 good? Not really. I would try elsewhere for truffle fries as I've had much better. He did tell me they were famous for their 'Mac Attacks' but another odd craving I had was wings, so I ordered the buffalo wings. Again - good? Sure. $11 good? Not really. By the time my food came my friends were almost done eating. I got the chiliaquiles DO NOT get it. It's just tortilla chips with a lot of pork fat and an egg. My friend felt bad i didn't like my food so she gave me one of her chicken and waffles It was really good but the syrup was spicy, not really what i wanted it should just be regular maple syrup in my opinion. Batch has become a popular spot in Brickell for brunch Sundays, sports games, and just nights out on the weekend! I have come here for brunch before. Make sure to call ahead for reservations! Even with a reservation they squeezed 8 of us in a booth at the back of the restaurant. That was a little disappointing but we were hungry and ready for mimosas so we made it work! I ordered their Mac with pulled pork which was very tasty! Very creamy Mac and I just love the combination with pork! My friend got with shrimp and she enjoyed it as well. This time around they were serving our mimosas one by one which I didn't like because we finish quicker than the waitress could come around and serve again. I have been here before where they would leave pitchers, which is SO much more convenient, but they said they couldn't do that this time around. They now have ladies night on Fridays which is awesome! I believe it's from 10pm- 1pm. Arrived Friday night while visiting Miami, this place is right by a hotel and around 11:30pm on a Friday it is quite packed. They are having a promotion for girls night and you can get a wristband by liking them on any social media. We checked in on yelp and got the wrist band to get the party started. The music here is pretty good and many people are dancing along with it, which is a pretty good vibe. There are some Latin and pop mix and also some hip pop, which is pretty diverse. As I first walked in, I can feel the restaurants' energetic vibe. Immediately, I felt comfortable. The crowd was hip and trendy, some in laid back attire and others still in their business suits. The DJ was pumping all sorts of music from various genres whenever the band took their break and thereafter. Yes! Live music! Playing new and old jams. They too kept me shaking and moving my rump! The bartender serves a beautiful pint of Guinness for those of us in need of that black beauty. Mixed drinks were nice and strong and so were the vodka shots courtesy of my friend German M. Really hit or miss. I've been to batch many many times. The food is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes it's good. Other times not. Pre COVID-19 times, I used to frequent batch. Our last visit was during the COVID-19 pandemic (beginning of October). They did not provide hand sanitizer, take temperatures, or any other precautions basically. Tables were NOT 6 feet apart from one another. I understand that maybe I'm a bit more cautious about COVID than other patrons? So I just won't come back until covid has settled down a bit more. The other patrons clearly didn't care. So who am I to cramp their style ‍ My fiancé got the Batch burger and he loved it. It was great portions and well made. I ordered the batch wings. They were very overcooked. The bones on every single wing were splintered and broken causing shards of bone to fall into my mouth while I was eating them. This was purely and over frying issue. Batch is basically an up scale sports bar, so like an ale house but way better quality. I have been here twice and the food has always been good. This past Sunday I came with a couple friends, I had what I would call the worst Moscow mule I've ever had(it was undrinkable) and my friend had their blueberry basil Mojito which was better but just ok. We thought cocktails just weren't forte and ordered beers for our second round. They have a good selection of beers on tap, their "batch" beer was pretty good. The service was great we were always checked up on and all the employees had a good attitude. I didn't eat but I did take a bite of my friends short rib burger and it was delicious. I went here for happy hour on a Thursday night. This place was full of young professionals. They have 1/2 price drinks and reduced priced appetizers. There were plenty of bartenders to take our orders. They had a one man acoustic guitarist playing. I thought it was a soundtrack because it sounded so good, but then I finally saw him seated off to the side playing. We had the duck nachos. They cost $14 and were not part of the happy hour special. They need more toppings because many chips had nothing on them. The chips that did have toppings were very good. They put slices of duck, black beans, white cheese, and aioli on it. They get their beers from local breweries. They had about 10 options on tap. There is street parking all around or you can play a flat fee of $5 or $10 at nearby lots. Make sure you check in on yelp because you get a free single flight of beer!!!! This is a great place to go for happy hour for the drink specials, food, and atmosphere. Happy hour goes until 8pm! Honestly, I was pretty disappointed in Batch. We ordered food that should have been an easy home run. How hard is it to screw up hot cheese? We started with a special Sunday option, a melty beer cheese with tortilla chips. Should have been a home run, but the cheese tasted kind of bland. It needed more flavor. The chips were straight out of a supermarket bag, and they gave us like 10 tortilla chips for all that cheese. When I asked for more, I didn't expect to be charged $1.50 for them. It's your responsibility to give an adequate amount of chips for the cheese you served me, man! I followed that up with the Mac Attack - gnocchi with gruyere. My server recommended I add fried chicken to it, so I did. I also asked for bacon. When it arrived, there was no bacon. The chicken was just haphazardly thrown on top, not mixed in for cheesy goodness. The fried chicken was not soft or juicy. It was dried out and tasted like it had been prepared a long time prior to my order. Also, the gnocchi was a mistake, guys. Just use any kind of regular pasta. You don't need to mess with macaroni and cheese. I wouldn't return. read more

The Gator Club of Miami (a group of University of Florida alumni) hold viewing parties here during football season. Many of my friends have been here before and have told me certain things to expect which is why I think I wasn't so bothered when they actually occurred. For example, the service is rather slow. I didn't mind as I wasn't starving and I was entertained by the UF vs. LSU game and catching up with friends, but I can see how some people get impatient waiting. Afterall, it is already a long wait to get a table and that is if you are even lucky to get one. It tends to get super packed (you are pretty much elbow to elbow with people)and reservations are made well in advance. We tried to make reservations the morning of and they were completely booked. They have a bunch of game day specials but you have to pay to be able to take advantage of them. I thought that was a little odd. In the end, my group ordered straight off the menu. I only ordered the fries, which I didn't care for. Too much herb, not enough/any cheese or truffle. My friend got the mac and cheese, which I tried, and I also did not care for. It was not cheesy enough, like there is a lot of cheese but they didn't use a pungent or strong flavored cheese. Also the gnocchi was a little too soft for me. My other friend and her husband ordered the burger with an added egg, which they loved. Overall, I would say 4 stars for the ambiance and environment. 3 stars for the food I tried, but the menu had a great number of items I would try in the future. I would most likely come back as I think I just had the wrong things. Maybe I'll try the burgers next time since it was such a hit with the friends. read more

The drinks were ok and pricey... then again its all about the location... For a gastropub, the beer list is mediocre but decent enough. They do have a decent wine list. I really appreciate how they have vegan and vegetarian options -- even though boneless wings (meat or not) are basically nuggets. We really enjoyed both times here. Check out their happy hour during the week from 4-7pm and get a great deal on small bites and drinks. It was a great way to sample some of their signature items (pickle chips FTW) in smaller portions so you can leave room for your main course. I also love how they make their own mixers and juicers. The waitress was great about keeping our drinks full- we didn't even have to ask her for new drinks, she just brought them. To eat we had the churros which are listed as an appetizer, but they're more dessert-like, but still great. Then we had the gnocchi and cheese.
