Here at the JW Marriott for just the night after disembarking the Valiant Lady. My sister, daughter, and I decided to partake in the happy hour which is daily between 4-7. We enjoyed the Gambas Al Ajillo and the East Coast Oysters. We also had the Italian Margarita. Everything was excellent. The bar is beautiful and the ambience open, airy, with high ceilings. I highly recommend.

As a regular here, I really enjoy the ambience and the service. The food is good to be located in a hotel. I've come for happy hour and lunch and you get better deals. However, if you come for dinner, you won't be disappointed. If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, you'll love this place. It's classy and formal dining in the back, and a more casual lounge atmosphere by the bar with the comfy chairs. The free focaccia with olive oil is very good! The humus and trip dips was a filling appetizer.

Absolute 10/10! The prestige of Boulud Sud is everything aesthetic that a girl could wish for. Embedded in the gorgeous JW Marquis Marriott Hotel, my friend and I stopped by here for dinner after checking into the hotel and getting our bags settled in the room. When you walk into the entrance way, what really stands out is the decor. It's beautiful, modern, chic with somewhat of a bohemian vibe with basket lounge chairs spread out. The host sat us down and our waiter was with us within a minute of seating, so very prompt. He was really interactive with us, giving us great recommendations and was cherry. My friend and I had a great time - I docked one star because my first cocktail that came out had a dead fly in it! When I brought it up to the waiter, he was very accommodating but tried to insinuate that it couldn't have been from the bartender lol the bartender made the drink so......where else could it have come from? Either way he replaced the drink so no problem, but I had noticed halfway through my initial drink so there's that. I say all that to say, it's an amazing restaurant! While staying at the hotel, they serve breakfast-dinner and can be ordered for room service. All in all, great experience with them.

I got a smoothie and a parfait. I enjoyed the smoothie and the parfait, except for this really sweet fruit jelly stuff in the middle. The service was pretty slow. The ambiance was bright and beautiful! Good brunch vibes. This place is really pricey for what you get, so I wouldn't choose it if we didn't have credit from the hotel to use.

I came here for Miami Spice 2023, and I would highly recommend this restaurant for Miami Spice! - Oysters topped with caviar: not a big fan of oysters so I guess it tasted good? I can't tell the difference between good and bad oysters so take that with a grain of salt - Seared scallops: The playing was super cute and the scallop was delicious. I just wish the portion size was bigger since my friend got the lamb meatballs and got three large meatballs. - New york strip steak (medium rare): DELICIOUS I'm pretty picky about my steak and was utterly ecstatic to have a good piece of steak. There was a bordelaise sauce which brought the whole dish of meat and veggies together. Normally I hesitate with wine based sauces since I don't like the taste of wine but they balanced the sauce well so there was no jarring wine flavor. - Fresh focaccia with olive oil: Give me a cup of olive oil and a loaf of this bread and I could just make a meal of them. One of my favorite parts of high end restaurants are the fresh bread and high quality olive oil and Boulud Sud definitely lives up to it. - Chocolate coupe: I'm a mousse girly and this made me very happy, especially with the crunchy layer on the bottom. The different layers added contrast, and it wasn't heavy so I felt just the right amount of fullness at the end of my meal. The service was fantastic and my server was very attentive and sweet. Boulud Sud Miami Spice was definitely a great deal. I would have to come back again to try the full menu to see how I feel about it.

When we travel, we always try to eat at one Mediterranean restaurant. (My husbands favorite). tonight we chose @bouludsudmiami . Everything was delicious! My only wish, was that the Branzino was bigger!! The seating is an open setting, with tables pretty close together- however it still had a date night feel. Shrimp appetizer was a good yummy portion. Lamb chops were delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars was portion of fish. It was small for a full Branzino- but delicious!!!

Excellence of service started at the host podium and continued throughout the entire dining experience. Service (both food and beverage) at the bar was friendly, attentive, and accurate. Camillo was very helpful with some suggestions. Multiple people at the bar also seemed to be having the same enjoyable time that I was. Extremely clean dining room with some superb menu options, including one dessert (and I rarely order desserts) that was superb. Easy to recommend the Baklava Cake, and also easy to recommend the Grilled Branzino. The crafted cocktails at the bar are pretty exquisite as well. There is not one single thing I'd have changed about my visit, as it was pretty much perfection. Thanks!!

Came here with family the other evening and had a wonderful time! Loved the classy ambiance, and great location right by the river. We had already eaten a bit before coming, but that didn't stop us from trying quite a few dishes! Grilled Calamari - really enjoyed the sauce with this dish! Also perfect texture of the calamari itself - chewy; but not tough. Tuna Tartare - truffle, with tuna? I'm sold! This was possibly my favorite dish of the night; perfectly balanced between the tuna and the truffle flavors. Mezze Platter - this was a lot of food, actually! I enjoyed all of the dips; surprisingly, my favorite may have been the muhammara. Super tasty! Seafood Malfaldine - A bit spicy but not too spicy (so perfect for me)! I also love the texture of Malfaldine pasta so I always get it when I see it! Great mix of seafood mixed in, too.

Staying in downtown Miami over the weekend we wanted a classy restaurant to end 2023. We were able to find a table for two tucked away in a corner. The ambiance is very nice, classy with the staff as friendly as ever. Our server approached us with cocktail options and we chose our usual old fashioned and wine. At 8pm the place was quiet but you can sense that would change. Lamb Meatballs for appetizer. Five (5) small balls covered in a soft spicy sauce accompanied with focaccia bread. At first I thought, that's it? But, the portion was perfect. The tenderness of the lamb with a small kick of spice was a great way to start off dinner. Our server sold us on the Dover Sole for two, prepared table side. Took a little bit, but the GM arrived with a table presented us a cooked fish and started the deboning process. In a matter of seconds, the fish was completely fileted, out came the bones and we were presented with a delicate and tasty fish. Definitely worth it. For dessert, something light was presented off the menu that featured pistachio ice cream. Overall, the place was good and would recommend for a nice dinner for two.

I've been here before for happy hour and dinner but recently had the chance to try their breakfast. The avocado tartine was fantastic. Great coffee too.

Miami Spice 2022: we were greeted with a falafel ball as an amouse bouche. It was a nice touch but didnt add much to our meal with regards to flavor. The spice menu lacked a bit in their appetizer options, with their gazpacho coming as a miniscule serving in a shot glass. The beet salad was also on the smaller side, but it was served all the way on one side of the plate, making it look like the plate was thrashed around on its side in transit. The cod entree was pretty tasty but very dry. I know cod tends to be on the drier side, but i've had it prepared much better in less high-end establishments. The chocolate dessert was served in a martini glass and was very tasty with many different components and textures to it. One big pro of the restaurant is that they offer over 200 wines by the glass, so you are sure to find something thatvsuits your palate and pairs well with the meal without having to purchase a whole bottle.

Booked dinner for my wife and me. Ordered from the Miami spice menu. I got the beef carpaccio which was a rock, frozen solid, totally inedible, had to send it back. My wife got the burrata salad with heirloom tomatoes which was very tasty. For the entree she got the hanger steak medium and they nailed the cook. I got the zucchini risotto which was crunchy and undercooked, it needed at least 5 more minutes cooking. Had to send that dish back too. I booked this restaurant mainly for the name on the door but sadly the kitchen team totally destroyed my dining experience with their lack of attention to the dishes they were sending out. Dessert were tasty. And service from Arun was excellent, he was attentive yet not intrusive. And I know it was not his fault the kitchen kept making mistakes. We will not return. Overall I DO NOT recommend Boulud Sud Miami for dinner when there are several other restaurants in Brickell who consistently never miss the mark.

The moment we walked in, we were transported right back to Greece. The décor is beautiful and authentic without feeling forced. Every detail adds to the charm of the space. We decided to keep things light and ordered the zucchini chips along with a special appetizer featuring whipped feta, roasted eggplant, arugula, and pistachios. Both dishes were excellent. The whipped feta dish was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the zucchini chips were perfectly cooked they were light, crisp, and addictive. My daughter ordered the non-alcoholic dragon fruit "martini" and absolutely loved it. It was tropical, refreshing, and felt like a special treat. I went with the white sangria. It tasted a little more watered down than I expected, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable on a warm Miami afternoon. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a stop. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, Mandolin is a place I'll happily return to the next time I'm in Miami.

Even after paying, the staff continued to make sure we had water and asked if we needed anything else. This small gesture meant a lot. Sufrat has a great happy hour menu that ends at 6 PM. I tried the Moroccan Mojito, which was so refreshing. To eat, we tried the Shawarma Sushi and $1 chicken wing. The Shawarma Sushi name can be a bit misleading. It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. They may have been the best chicken wing I've had. The service was excellent. I accidentally dropped my cocktail and they immediately cleaned it up and moved us to another clean table. I apologized for dropping it but not once did they made me feel bad about it. Instead, one of the staff stated it was an indication of having a great time. They also replaced my drink at no extra cost. A guy, who I assumed was the manager or owner, also passed by our table and ensured we were enjoying our time. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. Overall, I felt so welcomed and definitely have to return for more chicken wings.

We ordered the beef kabobs, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the ribeye steak was a major disappointment. We ordered it medium well, but it came out extremely overcooked, dry, and tough, with hard charred pieces on the outside. It was clear that steak is probably not their specialty. That said, we would still recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere, service, and many of the other menu items -- just skip the steaks.

For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.
