So many establishments hire young people for little money as does this creamery at the Promenade Shoppes. We entered and 2 kids got up, came over said nothing, really nothing and after serving us went straight back to sitting and being on their phones. Not even have a nice day on our way out. The ice cream was excellent but the eating areas was filthy. The floor and the chairs...it wasn't an experience we enjoyed. If I owned this shop I would address this. read more

*Center Valley location* Quick service and friendly staff. It's a nice location within the promenades. The dulce de leche ice cream is delicious!! The cone kinda tastes toasted, which is a nice contrast to the super creamy, sweet ice cream. The small single scoop is a good portion. read more

Quakertown Location - Ordered a Sundae that had coffee ice cream and a fresh made waffle. The Maple something, I was informed they didn't have any bacon to top it with, no problem, can I have it without the bacon? The young woman couldn't have been less enthusiastic unless she was dead. I was told yeah, but it will be a while to make the waffle, no problem, I will pay now and wait on the other side. 17 minutes later she peels a soggy foam like waffle from the maker (not done) and dumps it in the paper bowl adds coffee ice cream and toppings. Sad to say - tried the new location multiple times at the Shephard Goof Course. 1. Ice cream tastes like nothing different then something I get out of a box at a store and this facility looks the part 2. Employees - Young kids who spend more time dancing and playing on their phones then working with customers, one was lip syncing songs to my young son (inappropriate) lyrics and thinking she was funny - not sure if they were high - owner may want to revisit people that represent business. They also were CLUELESS. 3. No place to park. 4 Not reasonably priced by any means. Look, the Lehigh Valley and this area in particular has tons of good ice cream opportunities - non/chain ones, with much better product - this place is not it. First and foremost the staff is very friendly. They were helpful and happy to answer any questions. Bright open space with a couple counter stools along with the open seating within the Downtown Allentown Market. The flavors are listed to the left on the board and the toppings on the printout atop the ice cream display. There are also weekly/daily specials by the register like Milkshake Monday and Waffle Wednesday. Last visit we ordered a flight with 4 scoops of ice cream presented in plastic cups on a wooden paddle. The Bourbon Vanilla and White Gold (a caramel, white chocolate chip concoctions) were my favorite out of the four we tried. My first visit I tried one of their hard shakes, the Boozy Chocolate with Bailey's. I'm not a huge chocolate fiend, they let me change out the chocolate ice cream for the black raspberry. This Place is a must for anyone and everyone. The ice cream is phenomenal and is made up of great ingredients, not like some of the other ice cream places that use syrup. This evening I stopped by to grab some food at the Trolley Barn and after a quick order at the Meat Wagon (literally placed the order and didn't wait for it) I was standing in line at Batch waiting my turn. A woman and her son were not quite in line but clearly interested in ordering so when my turn came up I let them go ahead of me trying to be nice. After they got their flight of ice cream I go to put my order in and was told "Sorry it's Sunday we are already closed." I was standing there for at least 15 minutes patiently and it's not like I'm easy to miss. I didn't show up at closing time folks I was there well before 6pm when then "officially close." I didn't make a fuss I said ok and walked away. I've been to the Batch many times. Today is likely my last. If this is the way you are going to treat people then I'm happy to vote with my dollars.
