Completely needs to be replaced. Then this horrible unprofessional cussing employee refusing to give her name needs to be fired same with her supervisor due to affect he will not give her name. These people cover up so many people for doing wrong things. If these people did as much effort to cover up for this nasty individual a lot of work would have got done but no. They refused to give out the name supervisor everything. So the two individuals the colon and then the other lady with the tattoos I wouldn't fight if you fired them too. Save us money. And all she repeats is go to HR HR how do you find the person's name out when everybody covers for her? You guys need a purge through these departments I don't care if they're good employees but the way they act on camera makes me seriously think what do they act like off camera? From security guard to supervisor so far it is horrible how these people have been. She has enough confidence to cuss at somebody but she's too incompetent to know her name? She works in the mailroom. So they keep giving BS saying we can't give up government employee name so they're covering for this nasty horrible person. So they all need to be either replaced or retrained. But in my advice replaced. The fact that her supervisor will not give her name and keep saying oh you can get it from HR then when you go upstairs they just blow him off completely. So every single one of these need to be sit down and told hey you're a public employee. And you're on final warning the lady that cuss needs to be fired immediately the supervisor needs to be fired immediately and I'd give the rest retrained. This is just nasty I wish I could take my tax money back that supplies and pays these people's wages because honestly it's just a waste. And you're teaching kids and this is how you guys act WOW. The lady with the tattoo I guess she's being the dean of the college. She needs to be demoted I don't care if it's the lowest wrong on the ladder her now. And the guy that's a supervisor keeps saying oh go to the website and on the website it says not available. These people are a waste of our tax money. These guys are jackasses I'm sorry but they are the fact that they stand there and they tell the cameraman with a smirk on his face that is disgusting and nasty and should not be tolerated. Honestly the supervisor is a POS I mean really is. We should ask for our money back from this guy because obviously he's worthless I don't know how he got that position? They're like hey took you 12 times to graduate kindergarten we want you out of our basement we're just going to give you a job. And then he keeps saying we'll provide you with all the information not. But he's okay to obstruct the lady's name which by law he should be giving. He's incompetent and uneducated obviously unprofessional. Can we do the same thing with our tax money when they're like hey we want to get our paychecks and then we can have a little smirk on her face going go to HR go to the website. We can't give that out. To every single one of these people in the pictures. Then the lady in maroon obviously knows that you cannot see the list of employees off their website. So the vice-president shows up and does not know this employee's name will not ask the supervisor her name and his stupid responses why don't you submit it with her picture how incompetent are you people. I do like the programs they offer here. But there is alot of downsides to this trade school. Like for example every morning you have to deal with the countless crackheads sleeping outside the doors to the classrooms. And they just leave all there garbage right there when they finally get kicked out by security which sucks to by the way. And there is always drug paraphernalia left from them as well. Like used needles on the side walk. That's just one of the multiple downsides to this school. And alot of there instructors suck, hella lazy and don't teach there trade for shit. I had a buddy in the HVAC program there and he told me not to sign up there to get some certifications i needed so i can continue in the HVAC field. He said the instructor Joe Lyon doesn't teach shit and he's like 75, and doesn't know shit. Everything he teaches is about 10-15 years behind whats being used in the field. So campus, instructors, main office cause they screw people over on there financial aid every quarter more theb half the people on there financial aid don't get there funds until half way through the quarter. And when you try to talk to them everyone that works in the front office is rude and non helpful. And one of the last but certainly not least i just don't think i have enough room for everything is there security which is a joke. Instead of keeping the homeless crack heads from bothering students and blocking doors and parking spots, the security likes to write tickets for the dumbest shit to the students. There is a big Russian guard that harrasses all the people who smoke. If your 24.5 ft from the door he will harass you and write u a ticket. He just thinks he's a cop and his badge makes him have that power hungry feeling. And they have even wrote tickets for guests that come talk to classes for the job market in your field. And the security guard harass them and write them a ticket, which is down right ridiculous since first of all there guests, and not just guests but honorable guests that the school has worked hard to get there to talk. And the dumbass security guards just screw it up. Then the school wonders why it's hard to get speakers there. This school just needs to get completely wiped and new staff, managment, deans everything then it might have a chance. On and maybe a big ass fence to keep the bums from leaving there open used dirty needles on the ground right by the students classroom doors. I suggest any other trade school first before going here. This review is specifically for the Barbering Program at Bates. If you're considering pursuing a career in Barbering, I would advise against choosing this college. The instructors, despite their experience, are not effective at teaching. If you prefer learning through YouTube, then this college might be suitable for you. There is a lack of accountability, the practice tests are simply taken from the internet (QUIZLET), and the handouts aren't even checked for spelling errors. It's quite disappointing. The college HAD an exceptional instructor, but after his retirement, the quality of the program declined rapidly. The students are often disengaged, spending time on their phones and not taking the profession seriously. The instructors provide little support, and there is a noticeable lack of care in the program. I am surprised that they are still enrolling students. I believe this program should be shut down immediately. You would be better off taking a barbering course at The Commons Mall (Federal Way, although even that school is subpar). read more
