I don't leave negative reviews lightly, but I feel other pet owners deserve to know about my experience with Bath and Beyond Pet Salon. First, I want to make it clear that this review is not about Reagan. She has always done an amazing job grooming Mya, and I have never had any complaints about the care she has provided. She has always been kind and professional. My concern is with the owner and the way this situation was handled. After one of Mya's grooming appointments at Bath and Beyond Pet Salon, she unexpectedly became pregnant while in the salon's care. We only discovered she was pregnant when she went in to be spayed, and because she was in the early stages of pregnancy, the pregnancy had to be terminated during her surgery. I want to emphasize that I was never angry about the situation. My first call to the salon wasn't to complain or demand anything. I called simply to let the owner know what had happened and to have an honest conversation about how this could have occurred, what their policies are, and what steps they take to supervise the dogs in their care. I genuinely wanted reassurance because I had every intention of continuing to bring Mya there. I just wanted to know that the dogs are being properly watched and that the business would be transparent about a serious incident like this. What has been most disappointing is that despite my call, I have never received a phone call or any communication from the owner. There has been no discussion about how this happened, no explanation of their policies or procedures, and no reassurance that changes have been made to help prevent something like this from happening again. Accidents can happen, but how a business responds afterward speaks volumes. The complete lack of communication and accountability has been incredibly disappointing. I am not writing this review to attack anyone personally, especially not Reagan. I am writing it because I believe pet owners deserve transparency, accountability, and the reassurance that their pets are being properly supervised while in someone else's care. I sincerely hope Bath and Beyond Pet Salon takes this as an opportunity to evaluate its procedures, communicate more responsibly with clients, and demonstrate the level of honesty and care that pet owners should be able to expect. read more

I have brought my huskies here before, but it had been probably about two years. The groomer that groomed them before has since left so a different groomer groomed my Husky today. I asked if they still have my card on file and she said that they did. So I told them I want the same thing done that I've always had done on my woolly huskies. Which is just to shave the potty patch trim their paws and shave the fur off their pads along with the bath, brush and blow. I have a 12yr old wooly Siberian husky. I normally groom him at home but his fur has been so dry that I wanted to take him in and get a good moisturizing groom on him. I literally cried when I looked him over and was so upset. She cut ALL his feathering off his legs and belly instead of just brushing them out. His legs look so choppy. I also still pulled under coat out. The top picture in the double picture is what he looked like, the bottom is when I picked him up. I called and asked her why she cut it all off and she said that she thought that's what I wanted. I told her no and that I even asked when I checked in if they still had my card on file and was told yes. I told them I wanted the same as I always got before.. she said she didn't see the card and that she was new there. I just said ok and hung up because I was just too upset. I'll never recommend them and never go back. I'm just hoping his fur grows back correctly. I don't even want to take him in public. I will say he is clean, soft and smells good though. read more

I have been going to B&B for a long time and would not go anywhere else. Lindsey is the best, and she truly loves my fur babies.

This was my first visit. I'm giving them a chance to fix what they did not do. If I can get them to answer the phone. I have a dog that was rehomed it was very dirty it had a lot matting, very dirty ears and long claws. They did not get all of the matting out nor did they clean the ears fully. They did not brush her out fully there is hair going everywhere all over me and my car! They did not trim her dewclaws at all! The only thing that was done fully to my knowledge was being washed. And for $125. I can wash the dog myself or pay the neighbor kid to do that. I will update if they fix these problems! read more

This place does not have any sort of communication at all. Barb is also very disrespectful and does not know how to talk to clients. Since the owner can't call me I guess I'll write my response here(: First off there's a thing called communication, you may want to search what that means. First, I did not "sneak in" my dog. I made my appointment with Zen and have been doing so for over a year since our last groomer left. She also was a new hire and was able to groom other anxious dogs and made sure to tell us that she could handle him. So when I got the first appointment THAT WAS MADE BY BARB, she should've said something to me but she did not! She's spoke with me and my husband multiple times and never told us that our dog was not allowed. Also, Barb saw my dog back almost A YEAR AGO when we came back with Zen and she NEVER told my husband that our dog was not allowed to get groomed with Zen. Zen was also clearly not aware of the situation and your organization's lack of communication was apparent. I guess I also treat people in the manner they treat me because who rudely says to a customer who is paying money to your business/ workers" I thought I told you he couldn't come back here" in an aggressive way. So she was the one who started this I didn't, so of course I stuck up for my dog and I. Such a lovely way to treat paying clients. Maybe you should start communicating with your staff more. read more

I took a rescued Golden Retriever in on a spur of the moent to see about a bath and nail trim. They were accomodating and efficient. The dog was really dirty had some skin issues and dirty ears. They took great care of her. I'm sure this 2 year old dog had never been bathed in her life. She looked and smelled so much better, and I'm sure I interrupted someone's mealtime. No one complained and no one was rushed or upset. I really appreciated it. They also have groomed one of our rescue dogs, (Corryne groomer) who is a handful and another groomer hadn't been able to adequately groom him even while sedated. I appreciate a groomer who will take time to work with anxious dogs and not just say no to a dog that needs extra time and TLC! Definitely recommend, Corryne Smith is a great groomer! read more

I appreciate the team at Bath & Beyond! We've taken the grand dog to three different salons and this one is top notch!! They attempt to keep some separation between pets rather than just keep all sizes of dogs in one big holding area. They have a portion of the tables out in the open so customers can see how they groom the pets. They always buff our dog's nails rather than just clip them so there are no sharp edges. Today was the second time that I've taken my dog, Gypsy, to this salon. She's a Staffordshire Terrier so a lot of places won't even consider grooming her. Each time I've taken her, they've gotten her in quick and have done a great job. That place is now the go to pamper my pet. They even give a cute little bandana for your pet--usually themed around upcoming holidays. The staff is really nice and I can tell they make sure to put your pet at ease if they are scared. read more

I took my Jaxson there and love them! Staff is all super nice and listened to our needs. My baby has really dry eyes and gets especially sensitive around them. They paid special attention and this is the first time ever after having him groomed his eyes did not have a reaction. Thank you for taking special care! We will be back! Took our golden retriever to be clipped. We told them to clip him at a 1/2 inch. The previous groomer at this place did a great job the other times we had been. This time was awful. He was barely trimmed. In fact he came home with knots of matted fur still behind his ears. prices have gone up and service has gone down! read more

Absolutely loved the staff!! Having two minimally socialized, high-energy Border Collies, I'm picky about the care my dogs get. But after stopping by earlier in the week to ask some questions I was completely comfortable allowing them to be left with the professionals at Bath & Beyond to be groomed. I took my 4 month old mini schnauzer to get her first cut at Bath and Beyond Pet Salon today. I was impressed with the friendliness of the woman who answered the phone. They were able to get my pup in quickly. My puppy looks awesome and the price was reasonable. I will be taking her back every 4 months to be groomed by Brandi. Loved this place! read more
