I am so beyond happy to have found this place! They offer buy one nail trim, get one free if you come back within 30 days. Also, they do not require an appointment and are only $10! The facility is adorable and nestled in a quaint house right outside of downtown Granville. I hope next time I will be able to check out the store. From what I could see, the toy selection was very quality. The groomer, Olivia, helping us was proficient and very calming for my dogs. She was also very knowledgeable and not bothered by my asking a million questions. I am a kitty lover through and through. But, in this situation, I feel like they could be a safety hazard. There are a handful of beautiful kitties with free roam of the shop. The white and black kitty and I bonded while checking out. Maybe it's just me but that makes me nervous even though I know all dogs will be leashed. My kids and I will definitely be doing our best to be back every 30 days! read more

At the time of this incident, we had a cavachon. He was the sweetest most loving little guy. I brought him for a full groom. Everything seemed fine aside from the $100 bill which I find to be astronomical especially considering I found a lovely new place/groomer for a FRACTION of the cost. When I brought my dog home I notice his eye was completely filled with blood. He was completely normal with zero issues when I dropped him off. I called to ask what happened and they had no response. They said everything was fine and they don't know what happened! It was unprofessional and lack any empathy as if I was the problem. Never going back. My new girl is wonderful and kind and calls me before she does anything to ensure I'm okay with it. It's a shame what B&B does. read more

You can't put a review on their website (shocking) so I'll just leave this here. Must say, I have never read the reviews on Yelp and am not surprised at what I've found. We have been taking our Wheaton Terriers here for almost a year. We always set the appointment for the full groom which initially cost $100.00 each which is pretty high, but it includes everything so we did it. Mutiple times have picked the dogs up and their nails were not trimmed, after noticing we reminded them when we dropped them off to clip their nails. Several months ago I made it an issue, i'm not ok with being shorted on services and I cannot do it myself (terrifies me, they have black claws). The girl assured me that the groomer that kept not doing the claws was no longer there. Next visit, I went to pay and there was an extra $20.00 on the bill. I asked why, and I was not notified that there was an increase in charges. She advised me that it was due to a "hike in shampoo costs". Apparently the business decided to go ahead and make a little extra off of the deal if this is even true. Today, my husband dropped the dogs off, reminded them to clip the nails. I just picked them up and much to my surprise my dogs' nails were still not trimmed. I expressed my disatisfaction and advised this happens all the time, the girl took them back to trim them but offered no apology or anything. Additionally, my younger dog was beyond distraught and she is the sweetest most loving dog...I don't know what is going on there but I do NOT recommend. There ARE other places to take dogs in the area, so keep looking. Also, my neighbor takes her dog there and I asked her about her experience without even telling her mine, and she had the SAME COMPLAINTS. Unacceptable. Go elsewhere! UPDATE: my dogs are still traumatized from whatever happened there yesterday and it is deeply upsetting. Also, soon after I posted this, I received multiple messages from someone at the buisiness, one of which stated "we can no longer provide service to your dogs" which is interesting because when asked to schedule my next appointment.......i advised them I would not be back. The person accused my puppy of biting the groomer which I was never advised about, accused me of wanting their claws clipped to the point where they bled, and also that "Yelp is a joke". Why, because they don't pick and choose only good reviews for you? If me and my dogs were such a problem, why were we offered another appointment and why am I just now hearing anything like this. I initially thought this was an issue of some bad luck with their grooming hires, however I'm now leaning toward the manager/owner is the root cause of the problem and may be just as cuckoo as a couple of the reviews elude to. Went here two years ago. Was highly recommended by a friend. Was not informed until the day of service after they did the service on our dogs that they charge by weight so what normally was under $200 at our regular groomers ended up being over $400. Our huskies were not groomed as well as they were by our main groomers. We only decide to go here because it was five minutes up the road versus a 20 minute drive across town to Gahanna. We learned our lesson. Also, the building is overly perfumed like they're trying to cover up a foul smell or animal waste. Really felt like there was an attitude of superiority going on by the staff. So if you're going to charge people, you should damn well make sure that they know how much it's gonna cost them and not have a fun surprise when they come pick up their animals. Oh, and I got your follow up on November 11, 2024. A you're the first one that popped up as a review when I opened up a yelp so I said you know what I'm gonna say something. And yes, I did pay around $400. And you guys didn't quote prices so as a new customer, I was taking a back by what I paid. And it's not like I'm not gonna tip your staff because they did do the work , but the price was absolutely ridiculous and I can go to my normal dog salon and get a better job and my huskies look like huskies when they're done versus whatever you guys did to them Danielle. So yes, your salon is overpriced trash and I'm glad that you enjoy laughing at your customers or former customers at this point, but if you're going to have a new customer come in and not tell them the prices then yes they have every right to say something. Even if it's two years later. Fuck I moved in here two years ago and at that time I had other priorities, but since yelp decided to make you the first option to review I said oh let me share my experience. So yes, my experience with your salon was a bunch of shit. And it's owners like you that think you can talk down to your customers because they give you a negative critique. Several months ago I communicated with Bath and Biscuits on social media and asked if during their walk-in mail trim hours if they also trim grinch toes. They replied yes, they do! So a couple weeks ago I took my dog in on a Saturday for a nail trim and asked about his grinch toes. She said they don't do that. I explained that I asked about it prior to coming in and they said they could. She said she'd asked the groomer when she took him back. You pay prior to service, so I paid $20 for mail trim and added a $3 tip. My dog was bought back 3 minutes later a nail trim but still had grinch toes. The groomer did not speak to me or acknowledge me at all; just handed me the leash. Very disappointed. We won't be back. read more

This place is like highway robbery!!! We have taken our dog to get groomed here for the last time. Their prices are ridiculous!!! Even their self service dog wash is crazy. They charge you $30 for you to wash your own dog. We went to Tractor Supply on Broad Street just west of Pataskala and their self service dog wash is $9.99 and a very nice place with everything you need to clean your dog. read more

Bath and Biscuits was the worse experience we have had with any dog day care facility and grooming. The last bath and cut was terrible. When we called to complain they let us know they had let the groomer go and would not refund the money. Are dog looked pretty bad. Now lets talk about day care. She had lost her experienced staff and had kennel cough in her facility. It was a day to day nightmare while staff was constantly changing and awaiting the kennel cough clean up. Once again would not refund the money. This lady is bat ------ craZy. Worse yet almost a year later there are rumors coming from the owner that our Irish doodle killed a dog at there facility. Two different facilities said this was true. I called the owner asking for a letter stating this never took place. She then called the police and had them waiting. This is ridiculous! This women should not be in business. Sad part is dogs cannot talk. I have contacted the Humane Society and will call a lawyer if need to make this right.... Dog Bath and Biscuits have completely shown they do not care about dogs and should not be in business. There is so much more I could share No stars read more

Over priced for bathing and drying, I booked for grooming and cutting but their website is not user friendly. Made appointments weeks in advance and they only were able to fully groom my smallest dog. (Lab, pitty mix, and chihuahua mix) I booked three dog none came back with nail trims or neat paws for that matter. The basic grooming includes nail trim and pad clipping but they only bothered to do that with one dog. So disappointed after this place was recommended to me but unless you bathe your dog yourself there is not guarantee that the basic nail trim will actually get done. read more

After spending almost $100 to get a bath, brush nail trim and sanitrim for my Australian Shepherd, he still has a massive mat on his hind quarter, a dreadlock behind his ear, and another dreadlock on his flank. He smells better, and looks better until I got close enough to inspect. These are very BIG things to miss. read more

Do not recommend this place, they have such high turnover and i have gotten a different groomer every time. They had my dog for 4.5 hours today! He usually takes 90 min. Also charged me $20 more than usual and when I questioned it I was told it was always that way (not true when I can back it up with receipts) Unfortunately there isn't any other options in and around Granville but I will be looking. read more

STAY AWAY RIP OFF AND HORRIBLE JOB The owner PM'd me offering their services on our three German Shepherd's. They said that they all 3 could come in at the same time. I told them that our old groomer had really messed them up and they needed a lot of work. When I picked them up they talked all great things about them and then the girls complained I guess that they had to stay longer because THEY said to bring all 3 dogs had they listened to us they wouldn't have and then the owner messages me on p.m. and then blocks me how unprofessional that was a month ago yesterday. I had a mobile groomer come today it took her 4 1/2 hours to get only 1 of my Shepherd's back to normal they didn't do anything and charged me double what I have quoted in messages from the owner and she had a hole in her "pants" she said they just used scissors or shaved around area to get a mat out. I began messaging the owner the day we got them home because they still had fluffy "pants" matted ears, their hair wasn't cut we couldn't tell that anything had been done to them well because my husband used the word "trim" I was the bigger person and said OK well it must've been a misunderstanding on our part we expected them to be cut but because her "groomers" complained that they had to stay longer (an hour and who says bring three long-haired German Shepherd's in all at once anyways ‍‍ when the owner continues to tell them that they're in bad shape??) they said my dogs were too bad and they wouldn't be seeing them again. I've never had a problem with my shepherd's when people know how to do their job. After the owner of this establishment messaged me on Facebook she blocked me like a child so I messaged her from my husbands and told her how I felt about the situation only to be told "don't bully me" wish I didn't have to give any stars read more

I took my dog to Bath and Biscuits and was locked out of the facility. I had to knock to get back in when I returned and when I did they opened the door only a few inches to tell me to come back in an hour. The groomer did not follow ANY of my instructions and when I attempted to discuss my concerns the groomer became defensive and rude. Two friends had very bad experiences here as well. read more

I have given this place plenty of chances and I finally give up! I paid for a complete luxury groom for my golden cocker mix, and explicitly requested ears be left long. They shaved him (its winter?!?!) and chopped his ears so short. He was not matted, but dirty... he's a dog. My experience has been they have gotten very lazy and pretty much only shave the animals anymore, they do not take their time to wash and cut hair in long haired dogs. No true grooming. I've been going here for a couple years and they do a good job cutting my dog's hair, and they offer aromatherapy, highlights, and cologne for dogs too (if your that person ;) My only complaint is they've steadily raised their prices from $30 to $45 most recently, which I find ridiculous ($30 was the top for me anyway, I have a small dog and she's super timid, not a pain at all, with strangers). Also, my regular groomer had left and called to tell me (it's just like a hair salon where these groomers seem to 'rent a chair'), yet the salon owner called to confirm my appt and when I asked if my regular groomer was there I was told yes, then after some hem-hawing I was told there was a new groomer of the same name they were putting my dog with....? Weird, I won't speculate beyond that. However, the new groomer upp'd the price again and "schooled" me about tipping (I didn't). Before fellow yelpers chastise me, tipping someone who does MY hair is because there were extra services and attention paid to me beyond the actual service of the cut--specialized products for my hair type, recommendations, chit chat for comfort, etc. Why would I tip someone for just doing their job that I'm paying them for already, with no extra services? And the price was raised without informing me beforehand? (I'll add that my dog wasn't dirty or matted (for which I would tip), and I know that the groomers in there up the price depending on mattes. Also, on several occasions my dog's belly has been so closely shaved and nicked that she immediately begins licking and THAT has caused mattes) Maybe I've been watching too much Seinfeld, but I'm drawing a line in the sand for tipping someone for washing and running a razor over my dog who's already being paid $45 (there was no anal gland work, never has been). read more
