Room for improvement includes pricing all the candles. I picked one up without a price tag and it was $8 when I got to the register, when I saw many others priced around $6 or $7. It was a gift for a friend so not a big deal. Discount Candles is a really fun shop whether you believe the hullabaloo or not. They offer a wide variety of candles, incense and oils to choose from, and they've got a large (free!) parking lot to the right of the store for your convenience. I settled for the Cinnamon one and I think a lemony scent. And the best thing? The pricing. The candles run about $8, not too bad for a handmade soy wax candle (much better than the pish they sell in the mall). I believe I spent about 1-2 hrs in this store talking to the chandler about the candle making process and smelling the different scents. The staff is very knowledgeable. She let me experience a scent that she's currently making as well as a new release called Amalfi coast. The scents are available in candles, parfums, roll on scents, body wash and hand lotion. Highly recommend. There's also a candle making experience available after business hours.
