The vibe is intimate, warm and welcoming! The owner, Tawana takes you through the scent profiles that you may want to use or mix for your candle. She's such a wonderful person and genuinely takes the time to get to know you and walk you through the process. Tawana was patient while we were passing scents around. The business accommodates gatherings and celebrations too! Since we were celebrating a birthday, we brought in light fare and wine and this is The Way to party! The space is beautifully decorated and has several spots for your instagramable photo opps, you get to name your own candle and purchase additional candles or wax melts in your fragrance, all while learning to make a candle. It All Makes Scents candles are vegan and they burn clean-no black soot in these! They have their signature candles and wax melts on hand for purchase as well. When we showed up she was very welcoming. She was really nice we enjoyed the candle making with her. She poured us a glass of 999 wine and had some good music playing to get our candle making party started right. The class cost $40 and you also get 10% any purchase in the store. This is a new women owned business and not just Jessica the women but Stella the dog (when her schedule allows) opened to enhance our community. What can I get there you ask? Well you can get a baby soft robe or a bag of malted milk peanut butter balls. Maybe a set of baby animal finger puppets or a dog blanket and toy Christmas gift set. How about a Buffalo sweatshirt or some fluffy slippers. Maybe some thermal tumblers or a s'mores Christmas tree ornament. Of course I simply couldn't resist getting a couple of things...... and I'm very certain you will have a very hard time resisting something calling your name too. The owner, Jen, is very friendly and welcoming and told me her name as soon as I walked in and conveyed that if there was anything I needed, to not hesitate to let her know. Also, Stella, is a dog. She greeted me when I walked in and I had a smile plastered on my face the entire time I was moving around the shop because she was so adorable and had bells around her collar. I purchased a llama ornament for myself, and a coaster with a snarky saying on it for my mom. Visit this shop ASAP because you will fall in love with the setting, the owner, and the dog, Stella. And that is Vania and David to a T. The first time I went in, my friend and I declared that we were "just window shopping" and we had no intention of buying anything. We had actually been in the store next door (which we wandered into after seeing their sign from Ashker's...spoiler alert where we had spent the afternoon lounging....but I digress....) Anyway, so we had no idea that Vania and David was there until David invited us in to check out the store. And I'm so glad he did. We had a blast wandering around, asking questions, checking out the leather goods and jewelry that Vania designs herself and much of which she makes in house. They've had a bunch of movie appearances so it was fun to see items from the store in the movie screenshots. I love people who put Buffalo on the map! Of course the window shoppers couldn't help themselves and we each bought something - my friend some beautiful citrine earrings and me a bracelet, which Vania customized for me while we chatted. Most recently I went in to buy birthday presents for two very special people. I told Vania what I was looking for and what my budget was and she was so sweet about helping me find the perfect gifts for both of my friends. And when my friends opened the gifts they were beside themselves in love. This is definitely not an inexpensive store. It's the kind of place that you go when you want something nice. If you want a chaka, go to the thrift store. If you want a piece of jewelry or leather that is also a piece of art, then check out Vania and David. We came inside bc my friend and I love to find unique crystals - they have some lovely ones here in great quality and shape and size and a large and vast selection. I found some unique pieces I actually haven't seen anywhere else. A bit pricey but perhaps they're super rare (think $500). No one spoke to us while inside at all - or came out from the back. It left us to browse in peace but also felt weird since we sort'of saw them but never interacted during the 10 or so minutes we were inside walking around. Worth a browse for sure if you're already in town!

All the way to the right of the counter is the mobile pick up order section. The employee was very nice and funny. We joked around a bit. The store really did look nice. They seem to have a lot more in their store than the Elmwood location does. A lot of perfumes and laundry detergents,etc... Next time I'm out that way and I need Bath & Body Works stuff. I'm gonna hit up that location instead of Elmwood and maybe get more stuff from their bigger selection.

So this store…read morehas lots of items from really low prices to more expensive items such as wigs that are $600 plus. It's over crowded though. I like the people there. Everyone is polite whenever I go there. They'll also make deals with you on pricing. I'm a natural negotiator so I'm always at least proposing a deal. . Again though it's crowded they need more space or to revamp the landscape of the store. That's my only complaint. I have a lady line coming out soon and I plan on making this store one of my distributing locations. It's all about the deals!

Alright, I admit it, I'm obsessed with this place and no (before you pull my long, dyed hair like…read moreone of my coworkers did) I don't have weave. The people who work there are super nice, they are open decently late (9 or 10pm I think most nights), the place is very clean and they have an obscene amount of security cameras for those nervous about the area (I live not too far from here but this area is a little more shady than mine - during the day I have no worries, but it's not a good idea to be walking around alone at night; come with a friend and park close). They have hair stuff SO cheap, and it is pretty much the same stuff you would buy at a department store or at the mall but at a fraction of the price. They have "knockers" (the figure 8 ponytailers with a bead on either end) for $1 a pack - there are like 8 pairs on a pack, they don't stretch out quick and they have any color you could want, even leopard print, neons and metallics! I got a load of leopard earrings here for $1 a pair, in like ten colors. They just have a HUGE selection - beads (also very good for crafting - they even have wooden ones), barrettes, regular ponytailers, hair clips, pins, all types of rollers including those popular bendy ones, etc. They also, of course, have weave, discount sneakers, belts, etc, but I come for the accessories. They also sell a pretty decent generic brand of lipgloss and nailpolish that is very cheap, doesn't wreak like toxic waste and doesn't make me break out. I usually try to buy stuff either used or made in the US (or from another country with good labor laws) but frankly it's pretty hard to even find this kind of hair stuff not made overseas now that 99% of plastic stuff is made in Asia, so why pay more for it elsewhere?
