Living Healthy is a store that specializes in natural health and wellness products such as detox kits, vitamins, supplements, alkaline water, bath salts, organic soaps and so much more! The staff is very knowledgeable about the products they sell. I have never walked in and asked a question and not gotten a complete answer. They have a really good selection of raw green powder supplements to choose from, which run about $20 something dollars, a scoop a day in a juice or beverage is the equivalent to about four to five cups of fresh vegegetables. I use raw green powder in my smoothies 5 days a week and I can tell the difference because I have more energy, clearer skin, and I feel a lot lighter. You get all the vitamins and minerals of a multi vitamin, but with added nutrients such as probiotics, prebiotics, detoxification nutrients, and disease-protective antioxidants. I love the tea tree oil soap. The soaps here are amazing, they smell so good and leave your skin really soft. They have soaps to treat eczema and acne as well. The alkaline water is inexpensive, you can get a gallon for around $5. Alkaline water increases oxygen levels as well as energy and helps to cleanse the colon, aiding in weight loss. A gallon of Alkaline water will last you an entire week as you only need about 6 to 8 ounces a day. The Zum Jujucuzzi bath salts enriched with shea butter come in plentiful varieties like lavender, lemongrass, eucalyptus, peppermint, and grapefruit. It's the Frankincense one that stopped me in my tracks; intoxicating and sensually fragrant. Now that I'm in the pool at least 2 days a week and running, bath salts are an excellent way to relax my nervous system, sooth pain and aching limbs, ease muscle strain, heal cuts, and treat colds and congestion, all while drawing toxins from out of my body. So get on down to Healthy Living, this store is amazing! It's my answer to not looking or feeling my age. Rude, Rude,Rude. The clerk acted like I inconvenience her as we walked into the store. I asked her for some tables , she didn't have it, which is fine . She handed me an alternative and the continued her conversation with her guest. I wanted to ask her questions but I felt like I was intruding. I said "Ok thank you" , and she slammed the product on the counter. She never asked me if I had any questions or anything. She was more concerned with her guest wedding. Extremely Rude. Extremely rude. The customer service is very horrible. Never go here. I was inquiring about incense since it was going to be my first time purchasing some. The clerk rudely asked me, "youve never burned incense before?!?!" I said "no, this would be my first purchase, do you have a plate needed for the ashes etc". She proceed to ignore my questions and ring up my friend that was buying black soap. My friend had to assist me in showing me where the incense tray was, while the clerk didnt even bother to show me. Instead of buying the incense and the tray, i put the all the items down and decided to leave. This story is much longer, but i shortened it. Whatever you do, please do not shop here. Just left this store and was NEVER acknowledged by the chick in there. Walked in at the same time as her buddy security guard friends and she NEVER spoke to me...even after they left, she proceeded to FACETIME someone and carry on a conversation. One of my biggest pet peeves is going into a business and getting ignored. I wont spend a penny in a business like this....I will go elsewhere. My mom and I frequent this shop because of the variety of nice holistic products. We have seen and interacted with the owner and one of the cashiers on numerous occasions. HOWEVER, a recent visit has turned me completely off from this shop. My mom and I browsed the store and picked up a few items. Mind you, the owner wasn't there today. The owner (Celine Khan) had the nerve to call the cashier to have her check to see if I was stealing as if I have never shopped there before and she didn't know me. I guess she was looking at the camera remotely? I caught on to what was happening and the cashier apologized profusely because she knew I didn't steal anything--I have absolutely no reason to! It was very disappointing to see that the owner would go through extreme lengths to accuse me (a regular customer) of stealing. She even told the cashier, verbatim, that even though they're regulars, you still don't know what people will do. So insulting and disappointing! She just lost two customers. The cashier is very nice but the owner's attitude is making her lose so many valuable customers. Oh well! read more
