Mind your…read morebusiness... :). ) Back then, it was a great place to get cute, disposable clothes for cheap. It was basically lying Shein, before Shein was Shein. I didn't even know they were still around, but when I passed this one, I figured I'd stop and check it out. It certainly has the same minimalist look that I remember so well. Ahhhh...nostalgia. I was looking for a few lightweight tank tops and t-shirts for an upcoming vacation. Nothing fancy. Something colorful, breathable, lightweight, and disposable. I found a number of things that fit the bill, and even found items from a few brands I recognized, including New York and Company. I eventually headed towards the fitting room, only to find it blocked off with a sign saying it was temporarily closed. I had to chat with one of the cashiers and she told me that the fitting rooms are actually closed permanently. Since Forman Mills was bought by Shoppers World, they notified the employees that effective immediately, they were to permanently close both the fitting rooms and the restrooms. I don't know if this is because of rampant theft or what, there are massive signs hanging from the ceiling directing customers to both the fitting room and the restroom, and that neither of them are available to the public. And it's especially callous that only employees are allowed to use the restroom. There are more concerned about their inventory than they are about offering a common courtesy to customers. Fortunately, their return policy allows for returns within 30 days with the tags on in a receipt. So I was able to buy the items I was interested in, keep what worked, and return what didn't. Definitely not an ideal process and I could see how a lot of customers just wouldn't be bothered. Fortunately for them I had time that day. The cashiers themselves have no sense of urgency whatsoever. They also don't know how to prioritize time. After waiting in a short line for an exceedingly long period of time, I placed my items on the counter for checkout, only to find that the cashier has decided to move hangers to the rack and do some other things to tidy up her area after having us waiting for so long. The counter space was large enough that she did not need to do those things right away and she could have easily done them when the line died down. When I returned to the store to return the items I had purchased, the same cashier and another of colleagues were leaning against a piece of furniture behind the counter having a casual conversation while there were people waiting in line. There are people waiting to check out and these folks are looking right at them and continuing their conversation. Unacceptable. I walk over to the customer service line and get the nastiest look from someone who are later found out was one of the managers. She never acknowledge me never spoke, never said "Hey I'm helping another customer I'll be with you in a second". Just looked at me like I was ruining her day. After an impossibly long time, she finally acknowledged me with "What do you need?" I told her I'm here to make a return. She directed me to the next cash register over and was nasty and rude the entire time. I immediately reported that experience to management because someone who behaves that way should not be customer facing, and should definitely not be a manager. Aside from rude and unhelpful cashiers, I also hate how they damage the clothes Well inserting the tags. The original manufacturers put the tags under the arms or somewhere thicker that won't leave holes. However the staff here put them in the thinnest part of the garment, which leaves conspicuous holes. I don't know if they do this on purpose but it ruins a perfectly good garment. And regardless of how much we're paying for the garments, we deserve to receive them undamaged.

I went straight towards the kitchen gadget section. In this store, there seemed to be more people which made it harder to browse. I felt like I was being pushed out of aisles just as I was starting to get a glimpse at what was offered. Unfortunately, they too did not have what I was looking for. I did the same where I would grab a few items, walk around, then think it through. I ended up walking out of here without anything.

As a Michigander, these chips caught my attention. I don't think these were around when I lived in Michigan and they're made in Traverse City, which is nice. I probably would've bought more stuff that I didn't really need if I wasn't so tired. The store was clean and tidy, and there was just too much to peruse. I did a slow walk up and down the aisles. Checking to see what all there was to be offered here at this location. Stopping to see a new item I haven't seen before and grabbing the ones I knew I'd use. I had come to the last of the aisles and made my way to the registers. This is where a lot of the wait time came in here. I was in line at one of the two registers open and it was moving slowly. I didn't mind the wait as the employees were doing their job. What was a bit off putting was the other customers. No one seemed to understand the concept of personal space. They were dropping items right next to you and just not understanding the words 'excuse me.'

We headed to the line and some lady who was just standing around the register pulling items off the rack next to the register. I watched her for about 5 minutes and she was just standing there like she was purposely waiting for that register to open. AS soon as the attendant opened the register she grabbed her cart and headed straight in. To me it was like she had been told that the register was going to be open. I hate to throw out the race card but it seemed to that this is what was going on. We took our cart and left it loaded in the center of the aisle and left the store.

But today I lucked up and found the Blueberry Cheesecake croissants that I was looking for, a few weeks ago! The bakery finally got the molds to make them and I hope these are here to stay! *inserts yelpie foodie dance* You get a pack of 8 for $13 and it's a great buy! Came home popped one in the air fryer for about 3 mins and boy oh boy! I shared with my hubbie- but next time I'll just warm 2....hahahaaa!!!! I own three homes across the US, and one of them is only four miles from the Woodmore Costco. I am…read morea frequent Costco customer, purchasing gas, groceries, prescriptions, tires, batteries, and other household items. I have shopped at Costco stores all over the country, and I can honestly say the Woodmore location is, without question, the worst Costco I have ever visited. The problem isn't limited to one department or one bad experience. Whether I'm buying groceries, using the pharmacy, purchasing gas, or visiting the tire center, the customer service is consistently poor. Even checking out has become an unpleasant experience. I usually use self-checkout because I'm simply trying to get in and out as quickly as possible, yet the employees often seem uninterested in helping customers. Too many are rude, indifferent, inhospitable, and behave as though assisting customers is an inconvenience. What is going on at this store? Why is there such a dramatic difference between Woodmore and virtually every other Costco location I've visited? Employees have a job to do, and basic courtesy, professionalism, and a willingness to help customers should be expected. Tonight was the final straw. I stopped by to pick up a prescription, only to discover the pharmacy had already closed at 7:00 p.m. While I was there, I purchased three cases of water. At self-checkout, my receipt printed completely blank. I asked a young employee for assistance. After several minutes, he slowly made his way over, yelled "SUB," and waited. No one responded. After about five minutes, he told me to walk across the store to a customer service desk that wasn't even staffed. I refused because there was clearly no one there. I then noticed a female employee standing near the cashiers talking with other employees. I waved, thinking she was coming to help. Instead, she picked up a basket of merchandise and headed for the exit. When I called out that I needed help, she replied, "Why are you telling me?" and simply walked away. Several more minutes passed before another employee escorted me back to the same empty desk. Eventually, another employee appeared and finally printed me a valid receipt. That entire process should have taken less than a minute. Instead, it became an exercise in frustration because no one seemed interested in taking ownership or helping a customer. I have decided that I will begin shopping at the Arundel Mills Costco instead. It's about 30 minutes from my home, but the extra drive is worth avoiding the stress and frustration I experience every time I shop at Woodmore. Quite honestly, my blood pressure rises every time I walk into that store. Over the years I have shopped at Costco warehouses throughout Florida, including Orlando, Altamont Springs, Clairmont, Winter Park and The Villages, as well as Greensboro, North Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia; and many other locations while traveling. Without exception, those stores have provided excellent customer service. Their employees are friendly, courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful. Shopping there is enjoyable. Woodmore stands alone--and not in a good way. Where is the store management? Where is the employee training? Where is the culture of customer service that Costco has built its reputation on? This location reflects poorly on an otherwise outstanding company. It should concern Costco that a loyal customer would willingly drive an extra 30 minutes simply to avoid shopping there. I sincerely hope someone in Costco leadership investigates what is happening at the Woodmore warehouse. This store has enormous potential, but it appears to suffer from a lack of leadership, accountability, and customer service. Is anyone paying attention? More importantly, is anyone willing to fix it?
