It was fun to do Reiki in a different way with nice people. Upon entering the store I do want to say that masks were required as well as social distancing. There was sanitizer available as well as masks provided. The ladies that work here are very sweet, helpful and most of all knowledgeable of the product. At first they really didn't look like much to me but they were very colorful and from what I understand each one is unique because they are handblown glass candle holders by artisans. USA made proudly. Each candle holder comes with a unique name and story behind it. They even have beautiful coffee table books show each candle holder, it's name in the story for it. I will say that the pricing on these little balls of glass seem to run up to $90 each for the limited edition ones. Of course they come out with limited edition ones on holidays such as Christmas. $3 from the sale of every glassybaby is donated to the glassybaby foundation to provide hope and healing to people, animals and the planet. They have given over $10.8M to organizations in need. Wow! What's better than giving! On this day they were running low on stock due to the Christmas rush and covid. My friend did find some beautiful pieces to add to her collection and we were on our way. They don't skimp on the packaging. It's absolutely high-quality and beautiful. if you're a white person, you'll probably have a better experience here than any poc…read more visited here recently after having them on my radar for awhile, and the it was a unique experience, love the concept, but customer experience wasn't the best. i came in first to an empty store and i was the only customer, then shortly after, a white couple came in. i felt like the shop keeper immediately stopped helping me and diverted all her attention to the couple, mainly focusing on them. she helped them until they had made a purchase and left the store until she went back to helping me (which took awhile, and i felt very neglected). i left with some samples but they're the vial kind without the ability to spray. maybe i should've asked, but i wish they could have warned me before i paid for them. now that i have them, i can't twist the caps off. also reading reviews about how some people received free samples on their first visit but i didn't rubs me the wrong way. possible discrimination maybe? when i called the store to ask if i can bring the vials back and have them help me transfer to a couple atomizers i have at home, they said no. not the best interaction so far. now i have 4 samples i paid for at $6/$8 each that i can't even use. marie-marie downtown gives spray samples and i've always been treated fairly there.
