Bath & Body Works consistently provides outstanding customer service, and this particular location exceeded my expectations. After speaking with a helpful, humorous, and friendly employee earlier in the day about an online order issue, I visited the store and was warmly welcomed by by a lovely lady wearing glasses (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name). Although the specific Manager I asked for wasn't available, another Manager (possibly named Tara or Taryn) quickly and graciously resolved the issue. Needless to say I walked away a very happy customer. All staff members were polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and provided service with a smile. Love this location! Taryn is one of the managers there , and I've been coming to this location for a few years now. She's a sweetheart, and so personable as well! I feel like when there's promotions this store doesn't sell out as quickly as the one in downtown summerlin! I shop here a lot. Like, more than I should or can afford to. Lol. Never in any of my trips to any locations have I had as wonderful an experience as the other day with a young man named Mando. He took the time to answer all of my 12 year old's questions, patiently and kindly. He showed her samples and we talked about different products for some time. You may think that that's just how an employee is supposed to treat any customer, but it was towards the end of our visit that really blew my mind. My other daughter was with us and they both wanted items. At that exact moment I could only afford one, so I explained to them that I'd buy one item that day and we'd go back on payday and get the other. They were, of course, disappointed as kids tend to be in that situation.. and openly admitting insufficient funds isn't exactly a comfortable conversation to have with your kids. Mando immediately stepped in and did a price adjustment, making sure I could afford both. We were all stunned and as I'm holding back tears, the kids were delighted and as we were ringing up our items, they expressed their love and appreciation of this employee who showed us what true customer service should be. I usually place my online orders with a pickup at Boca Park or the summerlin location. The last time I came here the order was processed, but they claimed the scrub I wanted was unavailable. What!? I was ticked. After going round and round with the employee, I asked to speak with the manager. She magically located the scrub that I had ordered. Honestly, I think they had a whole time but didn't want to give me the sale price for it. Since they hadn't charged me for it on the original order, I had to wait while they ring up the whole transaction. That's why I ordered ahead to avoid that situation. This was extremely unprofessional. Don't offer items if the supply is so limited you can't meet orders . The large African American lady at the register needs an attitude adjustment. She would rather have customers wait than actually do her job. He then has the audacity to call the manager over to tell her that I'm saying she's taking too long with my order. 8 minutes to pick up an online order when the other register has already helped two people is way too long lady read more

This is my favorite location of bath and body works esp since they moved to the bigger location inside boca park. Their candles, hand soaps and aromatherapy keeps my home and office always smell wonderful. They email you great deals and sometimes you get extra discounts. Today I went for the 6 for $18 hand soaps and couldn't find my 20% off coupon. The store manger Bree was wonderful and helped me use my discount and made sure my email was set up to receive offers. This is, by far, the greatest location! I am a frequent customer of Bath & Body Works, especially during the holidays and when there are sales. Today was a bit different as "Tamryn" assisted me like no one has ever before. She not only told me what was on sale, she let me know what the most popular products were and what the best deal for gifts was. She pointed me in the right direction and also introduced me to the newest fragrance. I bought way more than I planned but my gift recipients will love every ounce of what they are getting. ok I thought it was only me that was getting the black sheep treatment but after reading other reviews it validated the racial stereotypes associated I drove all the way across town to shop at this location I was not getting the same treatment as other customers and I had my baby in the stroller with my daughters eyes was kept on me but no help or assistance stop judging people by the way they look and treat everyone with kindness I have worked in luxury retail store and I know eventually someone will not have a job if the business keeps getting bad rating and I'm pretty sure the district manager will see this review and these associate would not last in the real retail world lol and fyi bbw is affordable read more

Upon entering I was not greeted like I normally have been in other stores. This was no big deal BUT I did have questions about the sales happening and noticed that I was being avoided by the associates on the floor. I'm an 8 month pregnant black woman so I wasn't hard to miss. I watched as they happily moved passed me without speaking to help other non black customers. Then I noticed two more black women walked in the store and they also were ignored.. no greeting and no assistance. I decided to hurry and buy just the few items I had in my basket and leave but once I left the store I felt like I shouldn't have purchased anything at all because it's clear I was not wanted there which means my money wasn't wanted either. I'll be returning the perfumes I bought today, tomorrow at a different location and have no intention of shopping with B&B again. My feelings were hurt as this company has been who I've purchased all of my smell goods from since I was was a preteen (I am now 26) I did nothing to deserve the treatment I got in that store today. read more

Mood - candles Upon entering was greeted with great customer service. I was asked if I wanted a basket, if I needed help locating any items. Now right off the bat I should have got that basket. I ended up needing it. It was the buy 2 get 2 free sale. Those candles are amazing. They burn for 25- 45 hours straight, with a soy blend wax. So the aroma actually lasts. Which is important to me. Interior is well put together. As it is holiday season, the new fragrances are usually arranged in the middle. Each of the well known fragrances are in their own sections with their entire ensembles right at your finger tips. I honestly like this, so I don't have to hunt for them. I was in the store on the day of "Never before 3 wicks scent candles are only $8.50 each" Awesome buy!!! I could selected from 60 different scents. I buy candles for people at work every year. Around 6pm the store had already filled with shoppers. The greeter in front tried her best to say hi to everyone but missed majority of customers. She offered some nylon bag to some customer but I didn't get one. The candles wall set up in front of the store is crowded. Many customers were gathering around and feel almost like Black Friday all over the place. Employees seemed tired and ready to be in bed. I don't blame them!! There are 4 cash registers and all of them is occupied but only 2 check out lines. My understanding might be because of tight space around the check out counter ( There are 3 big shelfs around) Cashier who helped me was nicer to customer before me than to me...noticing from how she wrapped the candles and informed him about coupon that she had placed in the shopping bag for the next time use. But when it came to my turn....she was just doing her job and was hurry to get me out while I was inquiring about plastic gift bag to wrap my candles. Again... Everyone must be tired! Overall.. This may be long, bear with me. My wife and I stopped by to purchase some products on 10/29. When we got home to Pahrump she realized she had the right fragrance, wrong product. I called BBW and they said no problems, bring it in and we will exchange it. Great, now we are 5 stars, as usual. We just happened to be back in LV on 10/31 for other business with no plans to return for the rest of the year so this would be a great time to do the exchange. We stopped by the store at 7:30 pm (30 minutes before advertised closing) and the doors were locked. (losing stars as we go). The associate on the floor in front of the door working with displays said "We are closed" I asked what about 8pm, the scheduled closing time and she once again said we are closed. When I asked why she said they closed early for Halloween. Really, Halloween is now a reason to lock your doors early? (Losing more stars) When I said we just needed to do a quick exchange she once again said the store is closed and they can't do anything and turned her back to the door. (no stars left to lose because you can't go negative on a review. So a word of caution fellow shoppers, if you are thinking of shopping this store within 30 minutes of advertised closing you may want to call them to make sure they have not locked the doors and closed the store for whatever reason, including obscure non-holiday events. Thankfully BBW customer service was more accommodating, answered their phones and helped resolve my issue in a equitable manner (5 stars for them) read more

Yesterday a few of us from my job went into Bath & Body works for a Christmas game we were doing at work. We had a bag full of one dollar bills and had to spend a select amount. This would be such a hassle for most people and such an inconvenience as well for other costumers and the employees but Paige, Taryn, and Latetric were absolutely INCREDIBLE! they were patient, helped us find all that we needed, and were so fun all while still helping other costumers. This location at Boca Park has been my go to store for years. I went today because of their 9.95 candle sale. I purchased 16 on line last month but this is their best price so I went back for more. There is so many additional staff available to help. Everyone is pleasant and the check out line went very fast. I always walk away with a smile! The staff is very helpful and the store post remodel is well laid out and everything is easy to get to. I highly recommend this and and any other Bath and Body works store based on product alone. Normally I shop at The Body Shop for the main reason they are vegan, animal friendly don't test on animals. Unfortunately so many of the stores have closed.
