The store went through a major renovation. Spacious by the registers and very clean and well organized. So far every time I've returned they've had exactly what I needed in stock. Customer service is as wonderful as ever. Impressive renovation. I think they reduced inventory choices for nail supplies, as I don't see them at all at the front of the store and haven't seen much for that when browsing. I'm there for hair care products, so it hasn't been an issue for me. Overall, very nice renovation, much cleaner look and a more pleasant experience at the counter (there's room to wait in line if necessary without blocking the entrance). Absolute worst service I've ever received in my life. The assistant manager Susanne and Melissa both told me that my new $267 clippers that I just bought yesterday at 3:45pm which are defective could not be exchanged since I opened the box. I have never heard anything so asinine from a business. I have insurance but it takes 15 days for new clippers. I spent nearly $300 in the store 24 hours ago and was told I cannot get a new set and must wait for asurion to replace. Absolutely horrible customer service. The receipt clearly says returns are allowed but they refused a return because the box was opened? The head of the clippers fell off when I opened the box. The screw is missing. Now I have to wait 15 more days, or purchase a second set for $300. I will never shop here again. read more

The Manager of this particular branch is as disappointing as their customer service phone and chat line. I purchased an item for 2-hr. delivery, but never received it. I called this store to ask what happened and request for a re-delivery from the store Mgr. Diana who puts me on 15 min. hold because she said they're dealing with the Police and claimed that there were no orders under my name or under the order number that she's refusing to take and insisted for me to call customer service instead because she the Manager of the store has no access to orders at all and that there is nothing that she can do to help. I called customer service who called the very same store to find out what happened to my order and stated that the store is now processing a refund which will take 72-hrs. for me to get. Clearly, The Manager of this store doesn't want to do her job that day. Your store should be a part of ways to make our shopping experience better and not for furtherance of inconvenience. read more

The workers at this Sally's are so amazing and attentive. They ask if you need help right as you walk in, and actually care if you have any questions. When I came in to buy some hair dye they helpfully reminded me of all the tools I would need (brush, bowl, hair cap). This is a big help if you've ever gone to a store with a plan, but as soon as you walked in the door your mind went blank. They make you feel welcome and seen, you would never find yourself ready to check out and standing there with no cashier. read more

The store is a bit small. If there a lot of people in the store it can make it harder to walk through the aisles, as well as getting in/out of the entrance. Seems to always be nicely stocked and clean. But as soon as you need help, it's like they purposely avoid you. I was looking for a certain brand of hair dye. I was sent specifically to Sally's by a hair stylist who buys it from there. So i walked down every aisle lost because I couldn't find it and i couldn't find an employee to help me either. By the looks of it, there was only one employee working, but there were only 3 other customers in the store and she wasn't helping anyone else, so I'm not sure how "busy" she was. I go up to her trying to explain what it is that I'm looking for and she's just starring at me like I'm crazy cuz she had no idea what I was talking about. Then she points to the aisles, and tells me to "look there".. like I hadn't walked through them already. Then she went back to doing whatever it was she was doing. I just walked out instead. Maybe she was just having a bad day, either way there's no need for me to come back to this one. read more

This was the most ridiculous shopping experience I've ever had! The employees were all over everyone to stay 6 feet away from each other, which is not possible in such a small store. I had to wait to get in and the sign on the door said only 10 people at a time. There was not ever 10 people in there at all. They even had everyone put their stuff in a basket on a table in front of the counter, not sure what that was helping! This was stupid I won't be back. What I want is cheaper online anyway. On July 8th I bought extensions from the Henderson location. I have been buying extensions from Sally's for over 5 years and have never had an issue. Unfortunately, when I opened the package the hair was strawberry red blonde instead of being blonde frost which is the color I always purchase. Devastated because I know hair is non-refundable, I immediately went to the Charleston location in order to seek a solution. I explained my situation to a male employee who seemed unable to offer any formal solutions as there were no managers available (it was a Friday after 5pm) so this was understandable, however I was not backing down. Just when I thought a solution would not be reached Crystal (from Hawaii) came in to save the day. She contacted the Henderson store informing them about the situation and when they were not as helpful as she hoped, she contacted the District Manager and explained the situation. We were able to swap out the 90 dollar extensions that did not match my hair and exchange them for a HIGHER priced extension that worked much better. It is employees like Crystal who should be recognized for their exceptional customer service. I see bright things ahead for her future, and will definitely be doing more business at Sally's! read more

I've previously reviewed another Sally Location and only gave it 3 stars. This location gets 5 stars all the way because of their fabulous service! So I have a confession... my boyfriend is my hairdresser. No seriously.. No we don't buy the boxed hair color from the grocery store, he actually uses professional products and has helped me go from dark brown locks to Goldilocks (actually more of a platinum). I buy all of my hair supplies at Sally's: toner, bleach, color corrector, brushes and more. The difference in this visit from others, is that we decided to purchase some products for my bf's hair for the first time. At other Sally locations the staff is MIA or seem put out with questions. I know nothing about coloring men's hair esp. because there's so much less of it. I didn't catch the name of the girl working here but she had long brown hair with pink highlights, she had tons of advice for the bf, products, mixing measurements, time for treatment, etc. When I picked out a Sally brand developer she was even kind enough to tell me about a name brand bottle that was actually on sale cheaper. I love that! We got all of my color supplies plus his for $20 this trip, saving me $120+ from salon pricing. This is why I love Sally. I'll definitely go out of my way to shop at this location in the future. read more

The five is for the layout and cleanliness of this store. I felt welcomed by a team of staff members eagerly waiting to assist with a sale. Inventory items can drastically vary from store to store. The layout made everything easy to find and the use of the staff was easy to attribute to the well organized inventory. All rows of products were in order. I have been to plenty of Sally's around town. This location is pretty legitimate. I would not say it is the best one in town, but it is the closest one to me. The staff gets a 6/10. The one bad experience that I did have here was when I was looking to buy a cuticle nipper. I saw the one I wanted online, but couldn't find it in store. When I asked the male employee to assist me in finding it, he said they had two kinds and began to show me the first one. When I brought up that the one I saw online was cheaper, he immediately said that they didn't have it and didn't even bother to show me the second nipper he mentioned. Rude... Nonetheless. I live right close to this Sally store, its smaller and this store is opened 30mins longer than others. There is always different girls working, but the one I really liked I havent seen : ( The store itself is the same as them all, just cramped! LOL. I go here for my conditioner and bobby pins. So I originally went into the Sally's on Charleston and Decatur, their service was average I honestly never get spectacular service at Sally's, so I don't even expect it. That location was complete out of the colors I wanted, but when I went to the Target at Boca Park, I noticed the Sally's here and it was way better service. The guy who helped me Angel, was so helpful! He was easy to approach unlike most of their staff who seem annoyed you're even asking for help. He let me know they had just gotten some new colors in and went to the back to get it for me out of the box, and helped me with the developer and also gave me a deal and a gift with my purchase! BEST SALLY'S SERVICE I've ever had, it's a bit further from me, but I definitely prefer it. read more

The Store Manager had made recommendations on a hair color because the one that I use all the time had a new "darker color sample in front if it. I asked the manager who happen to be there if it had changed. She said "yes" then she recommeded a different brand and different color. I asked her 3 times are you sure this will be a light blond? She said yes. She knows all about hair color she even studied it in Europe. Now I have brown hair. It looks horrible. The sales clerk was snobby with me when I came in to get a refund. I have to find some one to fix this with out damaging my hair. Was it worth it? NO! I will definately go back to the Sallys on Rainbow and Charleston.
