They have two counters where you can make your own candle scent. It is so fun!!!! You tell them six scents you like and pick a container. They all cost about $25 for a medium sized candle. Then mix away. The counter hosts offer support during the whole process. Wax is poured and you label. Two hours later you can return to pick up the set candle. My kid mixed mango, orange and lavender- I am shocked by the amazing scent!!!! It's FIRE!!!! Party space is available and they sell a variety of personal items or premade candles also. This store is the size of a closet but holds as many candles as a large location, which immediately gave us both a migraine. Additionally, while this wasn't a big issue for us, CLUMSY and CLAUSTROPHOBIC PEOPLE : BEWARE : with how much product there is in the store, there is not much moving room making it easy to knock things down. Additionally, with everything being so close together, it would be really easy to get claustrophobic. Suggestion for improvement: Make this a "specialty" location where only the premier, exclusive, or "top" items are sold.

What I sometimes despise about big companies like this is that their fame comes from good marketing and brand strategy. But not with Yankee. These candles are LEGIT and the highest quality I have ever found. They burn longer, and stronger that any other candle I have ever had and that is ultimately what keeps me coming back and why I don't mind dropping a few bucks on these puppies. I guess I consider myself a candle connoisseur. Its calming and relaxing to me. I love their herb candles as it provides a sort of stress relief. Some other favorites: Lemon Lavender, Buttercream, Honeydew Melon, and Sage & Citrus. Her products are a lot of home decor, gifts for women, clothes, scarves, jewelry etc. always something new when I go! My favorite part are the lamps. If you are ever in the market for a neat lamp, her husband makes them and they are amazing. All kinds of unique pieces turned into lamps. This is my go-to spot if I need a gift for my mom, sister etc or just something for myself :) She also does events with local Hamilton businesses.
