I stopped in to get Shower gel as I use it for bubble bath as well. I was greeted at the door by an associate and she let me know about sales and helped me find my products. I was happy to see there were having a buy 3 get 1 free sale. I love all the new fragrance and ended up getting Gingham, Garden White Tea, Honeysuckle Peach Spritz and Fresh Coconut and Cotton. Let hubs smell them and he gave me a thumbs up! Sales associate that checked me out was nice. Sales associate at door thanked me for me visit. They have the standard COVID guidelines (wearing a mask and try to physical distance). They had a semi-annual sale on select items so I decided to stop by. I picked up some of their foam hand soaps that were half off, which was nice. The staff is friendly and it wasn't too crowded in the store which I appreciate. Everytime I come here I notice they have new scents/fragrances and new products to display. I ordered some candles and some soaps online ($200). I was late to pick up the merchandise by one day. And I made the mistake of going to see if I could pick it up the following day without calling and unfortunately the order had been put back. I asked to see If they would honor the purchase that I had made so I could re-buy the items and be on my way but unfortunately I was not given that option and they told me that they couldn't do that. I went in for a quick get of a travel size to take on an upcoming trip. I went in with with a coupon, which was not for what I had picked out to use it for. I got a call at the beginning of checking out which I had to take. I know... very rude to the cashier, but some calls there's no choice. While the callee is asking info, I'm having to have a conversation that I didn't want the product that wasn't allowed in the coupon, but wanted the other item. I realized way after I left the coupon behind that I couldn't use. She, while I was on my phone, put it into my bag, so I could use it later. Love this place! Location is clean and staff is friendly. I just wish candles were on sale more often. As well as the Wallflower scents. But that is not up to the store, that is up to the company. I also wish that when you go in store they can just type your email in and give you a discount if they see your on their member list instead of asking you to have it printed off and ready to go to get a discount. 1:05 1/14/23. I just stood in line for 15 minutes behind a lady who bought out tons of items. About half way thru the sale another cashier walks up to get a pick up order. As soon as she gives the customer her the order she looks at a lady that had just walked up and started checking her out. I know she saw me standing there still waiting behind the lady with all the items. She proceeds to check out the RUDE lady who just walked up so I just laid my $60 purchase down and left! Shame on me for coming back after my first bad experience. I never post about businesses as I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this store is terrible. I don't know if they are understaffed and overwhelmed or just have really bad customer service skills, however they are rude and don't know how to treat a customer. Was looking for a candle that smelled like Christmas tree, asked an associate for help and she led me to Christmas candles and said what's there is what we have. Didn't help me in the slightest. I wandered around on my own and Finally found fresh balsam, guess what smells like Christmas tree! Picked up another few items went to the checkout with my $10 off $40 purchase coupon and the cashier wouldn't accept it because she said I had to spend $40 before tax. Also I explained what happened about being able to find the candle I wanted that smelled like Christmas trees and her explanation basically was that the associates don't know what candles that they have in the store which to me is an essential part of the job! This location always seems to be out of the few items that I go in looking for for some reason, every SINGLE time. I'm not sure why, as they're not particularly off-the-wall items or rare items or anything. Also, every time I've ever asked for help with anything, the workers seem less-than-excited to assist me. They're not quite rude but they're also not really friendly and welcoming. I really hate going to this location and avoid it at almost all costs, but it's a lot closer to me than the location in the mall is. read more

If I could rate negative stars I would after the experience I had today. I've visited this location several times and have never left feeling as uncomfortable as I did today. I went to the store today to buy some hand sanitizer for my boys and some wallflower plug ins and scents. I was taking my time looking at the hand sanitizers trying to find one to replace the one that my son had had stolen from his back pack but they receive new fall scents so I was trying to find something else he'd like. To make a long review short, I was excessively asked if I needed any help, or was I finding everything ok. I felt like I was being watched and followed around the store, like they thought I would steal something. I finally got so frustrated I put down my basket on the counter and told them no they couldn't help me and walked out. I've never been made to feel so uncomfortable at a store. I left feeling gross and the entire time I was in the store I was very aware of every move I made because of the associates. I don't know if they singled me out because of my casual attire (jeans and a t-shirt, hair in a bun) or for other reasons. I have never brought my race into any situation and would hate to think that was the reason either. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, extend grace and understanding in all situations but I just can't seem to understand why I was singled out. As I drove away I called the manager and told them what had happened and as a courtesy i let her know that I would be calling corporate and giving them full details of my experience. I tried my best not to cry but ended the call sobbing. I hope no one else is made to feel this uncomfortable at this location again. Hours later I'm still upset. If you are not white, don't expect to receive any assistance what so ever. When you enter the store, the white women are greeted, served, and helped with a smile. The "rest" of us are ignored and avoided. If you're white, you may love this store, otherwise, take your business elsewhere, this is a very consistently, and blatantly racist store. Both times I visited this store, it wasn't very busy and I was clearly searching for a particular product, and of course blatantly ignored. No one EVER said hello to us, acknowledged us, or asked if we needed assistance. I stood at the cash register for 15 minutes waiting to be cashed out, (and the store was not busy at all maybe 2 other customers at the time), but the girls just strolled around and ignored us... we were virtually invisible.
